I recently had a rather disappointing experience at Walgreens Pharmacy that compelled me to share my concerns. The pharmacy staff exhibited a lack of knowledge regarding insurance, discount cards, and information about medications. The level of rudeness I encountered during my visit was quite disheartening. Additionally, I've consistently faced issues with the unavailability of my prescribed medication, a problem not encountered at other non-Walgreens pharmacies. I hope the management takes steps to improve staff training and inventory management for a more customer-friendly environment.

You rush to this walgreens to buy diapers, thinking it is open 24 hours as it says and usually is. Only to arrive at 10:17 pm and they are closed. For what? October 28th is no holiday! What a waste of time, money and gas! & multiple cars pull up and people get out of their cars, only to walk up to the door in the cold and see a sign that says they are closed at 10 pm for tonight. Its a shame how many cars I have seen park and leave in disappointment.

My Dr. called in a script, I gave them a day to fill it and when I showed up first they said they had no script. Then I said that my Dr called one in, but they didn't take my insurance so I showed them Good RX and they said I had to wait an hour for something already bottled. Worst pharmacy I've been to. Terrible customer service. My dad said he drives father to get his meds just so he doesn't have to deal with them. I'm following suit.

If you are wanting your prescription to be filled as quick as possible, do not select this location. Bite the bullet and drive 30 minutes to somewhere else in KC. I was supposed to get a script filled for pain meds (high strength ibuprofen), and they told me it wont be ready until monday. I had an oral surgery on a friday morning, expecting to get the meds that afternoon. I thought that the pharmacy would notify the doctor saying "hey, we are out of BASIC supplies, go somewhere else so that your patient wont BE IN PAIN"

Literally told me I should find another pharmacy because I said while on the phone mind you "I'm at walgreens I had to go inside because there's always a 45 minute wait I'm the drive through". The scary part is this is the pharmacist on staff. Ashley does not care if your maintenance meds take 5 days to fill so why would any of the other staff that works there? Incompetence is clearly celebrated here starting from the top.As Ashley said "no one in kck ever reports anything don't worry about it" as I was leaving walgreens doesn't seem to care about their kck customers since this is what we get.

Guaranteed 30 minute wait in the day time for prescriptions you get seemingly endless reminder texts and emails about that take 3 to 5 days to refill.Hit or miss if the store will even be open 24 hours i have tried to go at 2, 3 and even 4 am and they are almost always closed because "the registers are down".Gives every walgreens a bad name. Lane 2 is apparently permanently closed in the drive up. It's rare that the line of cars doesn't wrap around the building

Ever since I’ve moved to Kansas occasionally I would go and get tobacco products from this Walgreens but I never had my ID but I kept a picture in my phone of it…. Never was refused a sale or anything until today!!! I walk everywhere I go so to be turned away today after I had walked all the way there for something I always get with no problem any other time was insulting!!! I now HATE this Walgreens & don’t recommend anyone go here at all!! If it’s policy to physically have the ID present that’s fine but I should’ve still been able to make my purchase there today because it’s not my fault that you employees don’t enforce the policies!! I will take my services else where!!

Only go here if you’re in desperate need and have no other options and don’t depend on the 24 hour pharmacy refill hundred percent either. Waited a day for a prescription that could’ve been filled in 30 minutes only to come in to the drive-through not being open. Only to have come inside to find out the debit card machine isn’t working either because it was $.35 for my prescriptions to have to come back outside find some change to bring back inside the $.35 to get my prescriptions!! Guess it’s my fault for not having cash.

The pharmacy here is terrible. I called ahead for my prescriptions they say it'll be ready in 2 hours I wait six hours and arrived they say they need another 15 mins. Fast forward 30 minutes and they proceeded to tell me they can't fill my prescription till Monday because they don't have it. During my weight, I hear the guy next to me say they called ahead and they said their prescriptions were ready only to overhear them say sorry we don't have your other prescription in stock. Why wouldn't you tell somebody that in advance. The customer service here is atrocious and something tells me this wouldn't happen in more affluent areas. I wonder why this location thinks it's okay to treat its patrons poorly? 🤔 and this experience is not outside the norm sadly this is the third time I've had a similar experience. Proximity to my house and my insurance are the only reasons I come to this location. It appears I need to go ahead and start driving to Johnson County just to get an iota of respectful treatmentUpdate 1/13/2023 - Gave this location another the because the pharmacy manager said that experience is not the norm and I should have to drive to the next county to be treated with some type of decency. Alas, same result. This time they are full staffed and Ashley gave me new excuse, then said she does not remember talking to me because she gets so many complaints. But wait, previously she said that's not normal. Walgreens pharmacy, you need to send in some help and some experience to this store and stop providing black an brown people subpar service in Wyandotte county.

Why offer curbside pickup??? Before I ordered my items. I checked to make sure the items were in stock, and they were. I waited for over an hour for pickup confirmation. I realized I order late. I wanted to pull up pick up and go. I didn't realize till morning my order was canceled and said due to not in stock. I made a trip to the store and purchesd the same items I ordered. Just a sad situation.

Tried to pick up my prescription 3 times. Waited 25 minutes in line each time. Had to leave. Hope I don't have a seizure at work or driving because they refuse to hire and pay there pharmacist. They should be ashamed.

Do not get your prescriptions filled here. Worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. Their lines are ALWAYS ridiculously long. Also, your medication will be on back order every other month. Recently, they’ve stopped answering their phones too which makes the experience even more unbelievable. The phone just keeps ringing and ringing, eventually hanging up on u.

This store has the worst customer services that I have experienced. I ordered invitations online and arrived 30 minutes after the pickup time assuming they would be ready. Not only were they not ready, but the printer had been down and it took them 20 minutes to let me know there was a problem. No attempts to contact me prior to me wasting my time nor did they offer any solutions. They, employees and managers alike, are dismissive and apathetic, at best. For a store with a great deal of food traffic, you would assume that even a basic level of customer service could be expected.

Pharmacy is Amazing sometimes sluggish but they be trying. Store needs to be cleaner gone in sometimes it’s messy.I just don’t get how y’all’s website gonna say 24 hours but then when you get all the way to the store it’s not even open. Update y’all’s webpage so people no to not drive all the way to the store just to find out it’s closed, or at least put a message on the that fancy message bored. I know times are hard because people don’t wanna work but come on, make em high payed pharmacy techs do some cashiering.

I went into the store today at 1:45 PM (appointment was at 2:00) to receive my Covid booster shot. I was the eighth person in line. I left at 2:34 PM, as I was now the fifth person in line. They processed three people in 49 minutes.The line has 16 people in it when I left. I figure their wait got shorter by about 15-20 minutes with me stepping out of line. Absolutely horrid.

Customer service is the worst, I don't know maybe because she doesn't get paid enough or just her personality. The manager acted like it was none of her business and very rude, she talked in a manner like the customers needed her help instead of her needing her job. She obviously should be the first one to receive some training on customer service. Even the cashier was nicer than her supervisor.

Called store and asked for pharmacy. Was told I needed to call back and press 2, then got hung up on. Pharmacy pickup line is regularly very long. Dirty exterior needs to be cleaned up. I do not recommend this store at all.

Horrible pharmacy! Too long of waits in line and takes FOREVER to get a script or refill filled. (And I'm talking days, not minutes or hours.) Pulling all my family's scripts and going elsewhere.

This pharmacy never calls when they can't fill something. They make you wait in line just to tell you to have the Dr. Call them because something happened and they can't release or fill the script. By far the worst pharmacy service we have ever experienced. This has happened multiple times at this location. It often happens on the weekend when offices are closed which delays needed medication. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Walked in the store today needed 1 thing 6 items in stock. Had 1 person helping me with it and it wasn't even a person who worked at that store location. Employees were rude and down right unhelpful don't waste your time go elsewhere I will never be doing business at this location again.

This place needs to get worker that want to work or change their hours online and store because they have been closing early every night. And it says because lack of staff but yet you can look inside and see like 5 employee's. Makes no since. Pure laziness. Don't advertise 24 hours if your not going to have it.

I gave them 1 star, for the multiple times I have visited that store, and have been forced to wait for various reasons. Tonight was the perfect example. My son got a new script, so we got to the store well before 7pm. We told them we would wait, she said at least 1/2 hour. We we're there untill 2 minutes untill 8 pm, and our name had not been called. We decided to leave at that point. I told my son he would have to get it later. That is an hour or so of my life I will never get back. There have been too many of those. They always seem to be short on help. I have gone to other Walgreens, and never had this problem. Of course I was not the only one standing around. If you are there for other things, you will be ok, but if you are there for the pharmacy.... take a book.04/22/21 I needed to fill a prescription for my son, with insurance they were $20.00 higher for the same thing than their competitor 2 miles down the road with GoodRx. When I brought this to their attention, they did not offer to match their prices, and said “Well there is nothing I can do about that”, and that I would have to contact the doctor, since it was an electronic prescription. I guess my business does not mean anything to them. Just another example of why you should check prices, and shop elsewhere.

Wonderful pharmacy staff!!! Treats everyone like they are the most important person to them. Also, learns names of patients. Would absolutely recommend this place to others. (Also, very helpful with my daughter’s severe allergy. Went to the trouble to learn about it and help to avoid it in all medications she receives!!)

The pharmacy and the people who work in it have no idea what is going on. One person will tell you that you can pick up your medication on a certain date you go to pick it up and they don't have it. And you have to suffer without for days because they don't give you the correct information. And they won't allow certain medications to transfer to another Walgreens who may have it..... it's ridiculous and wrong. People suffer because they don't know how to do their jobs and could care less about a customers well being, will be switching pharmacys ASAP!! Would rate negative -1 if I could!!!!

Well I usually don't have an issue with this location however I had a minor surgery yesterday (Fri)and they sent it to this location but they didn't have any in stock. They never told me this and online it said it'll be there soon. I asked if I can transfer for my meds to another location and they said I'd have to get another script sent to the other location and this location won't have any until Monday. So since they didn't reach out on Fri to tell me this I can't call my Dr is transfer it since they're closed on the weekends. I think if this happens they should some how let the customer know esp on Fri so that way patients can figure out what to do.Now I'll be in pain from my surgery for four days
