Easy to reach location, friendly and helpful staff, plus seasonal animals such as rabbits, ducklings, and if you come at the right time you can "pick up chicks."*Update*We did indeed pick up some chicks, five to be exact. A benefit to getting your chicks at Orscheln is they offer pullets and you are guaranteed they will be alive. They sell all the accoutrements you will need for a small or medium sized chicken operation. We bought chick feed, a heat lamp and bulb, wood chips for bedding and a feeder and waterer for them.They also offer an extensive range of hand tools and power rools, clothing, smaller tractor implements like box blades, and trailers.We also got a mineral block for our goats and nipples for a new bottle kid we acquired.Truly a one stop shop for a homestead.

Today someone ( above teen years, lady associate) helped me, she was so nice and kind. I so wish I could remember her name...I do know I will look for her if I need help again...knowledgeable and efficient. I found just the right light, when we need more, we will be back.

Orscheln's is currently converting into A Tractor Supply and the sale they have going on is excellent. Came down to Ark City to visit family and stopped in after a cousin went. Bought a bunch of shirts for the kids at 40% off for school which was a great deal!

This place is very average but nice to have in a small town. My only reason for 4 stars, I have been in this store so many times and had to wait in line for an eternity. Not so much due to lack of staff but because the little old lady that works the register has to have a conversation with every single person regardless of whether the line has one person or 20. Sometimes I will see her at the counter and turn around because I'm in a hurry and don't have time to get caught in a traffic jam.

Always so helpful / I hate going in to a store and they treat us women like we’re stupid. Just Trying to learn things dude! Lol that and there is always. Cool things to distract me before I leave the store. Never leave with JUST what I went in for

We have always made a point to shop Orscheln's but aren't liking the fact that TSC took over. At least Seniors and military were given a discount and the fact that they have cut their clothing down to 65% really sucks. We buy all our grand babies clothes there because she is so small and I can find elastic waist jeans to fit her there. Love the staff thou and they are very helpful. It's just good customer service when staff talk to you. We think we will be patronizing somewhere else now. TSC is higher and with economy the way it is ppl rely on any discounts they can get.

Love looking at all the items the store has here. We get all kinds of items, shoes, shirts and even some candies to take home. Even bird seed.

Is an okay place to shop. Like any retailer they can't stock everything for every patrons needs. The employees are friendly and willing to help. Their prices for what they are is fair and reasonable. Am certain I will be returning. Beats the heck out of the competition to the south.

We bought the wrong grill last night and they were willing to let us exchange it for the right one! However, they only had the floor model in stock and it wouldn’t fit in the back of our vehicle put together, so Michael went out of his way to take it apart to fit! Michele was such an angel with the checkout process and Sue was so kind to see if they had another one in stock. I’m so impressed and grateful for the help we received today.

Pretty great store, a lot of merchandise, neatly arranged. A couple of suggestions, make sure every item has a price, and train your employees that if they don't know if you carry something or where something is, find someone who does. All in all, ok.

I went with another guy who farms. I needed dog food and got a cart when I entered. I had a little time to kill and walked around browsing approximately 45 minutes . I was ask if I needed help finding anything. I was not harassed in any way. It was an enjoyable relaxing experience.

It's always fun for me to go to a place like this. I usually go for a very specific reason to get what I need it, but I always come out with with extra stuff that I didn't realize I needed!! That's the fun part about going to Orschelns

Went in for antibiotics for a sick cat. They was out as it turned out after looking for it and a employee for about 15 mins. They staff was friendly and knowledgeable. So all in all just a average experiance.

The older women at check out is helpful, very polite. Their clothes are nice, kids love the toy area, clean. This store isnt just for farmers.

My boys (2 and 4) love to visit the tractor store. They have any farm supplies you could need as well as "farm kid" toys, such as tractors and farm play sets. They also have a good selection of old fashioned candy. We really love to visit during chick days to see the bunnies and the chicks.
