The prices can be a bit pricey on quite a bit of items. However, some things I can get a better price on than other places. I strongly urge people to watch the sale ad and for in store sales as well. Overall, they have a great group of people working there. Everyone is super nice and they have an outstanding manager. There are things about g&w that are just unbeatable compared to other places in Iola, and I'm glad this store is here!

Love shopping here. Great ripe cantaloupe watermelon corn , they even slice and refrigerate for on the go food.Mom and I had taco salads there today very delicious.Nice friendly service, very clean, very nice atmosphere and their sales specials are greatly appreciated, low costs and very affordable.

Nice store, clean & more affordable to me than Walmart. However, 2 stars for customer service, the lady seems overworked and her coworkers never show up. How do I know this? She was complaining about it the last 3 times to her manager or co worker the last three times I was in the store. I feel bad for her. She gave good customer service beyond that however I’m guessing it was the younger girls that always show up late. I politely checked out my items and the young woman rolled her eyes in front me to her co-worker because I put to things of meat that were the same in the plastic meat bag. RUDE! I ignored it. Pay for my items. Sorry I was saving plastic and your company money. I’ve never had anyone else complain about it. And the other time I bought a newspaper from her, single item, and she rudely threw it on the counter instead of handing it to me. They need to better workers, asap. Or at least train them how to be more professional.

This is a great little G&W store that have a lot of things you need and the manager is a great guy the people are excellent. If you're looking for a great seasoning you can get Hobbs habanero hobb's jalapeno or hops sea salt seasoning here You don't want to miss it

The store is always clean and they always have everything I need when I go. The workers are always helpful and you don't have to wait in line. There is always good deals when I shop at G&W. I am taking away my 5 star review from 2 years ago. The meat quality has went way down! The last multiple times I have bought meat there it has been bad! I have always went to G&W for meat but I’m looking for better options from now on.

Love our small town grocery. The manager always tries very hard to get requests for new products. This is a salsa that our family loves and he bought cases of to have on hand. It's from a family owned restaurant in East Topeka that is now closed but they still make and distribute their amazing salsa for cheese dips.

The prices are a little bit high. I do like their meat selection better than other places in town. The staff seemed friendly enough. They will carry your groceries out to your car if you need help. A lot of the times they will just do it anyway. I do prefer to shop there over the Big box store.

Love this store, the remember you as a customer and treat you like they want your business instead of like you are a bother. They have a great meat department and will do special cuts on request. Happy to have this store in town. They deliver on Tuesdays, a service my mom uses every week.

I normally never rate anything , but since we are new to the area we were anxious to check this store out. We were very impressed with how clean it was and the variety of food available. We were excited to have a grocery store other than Walmart to shop at. Then we got to the checkout, the cashier was so rude we decided then and there it would be our last visit to this store. I understand everyone can have “bad” days.. but when working with the public, you have to really watch your tone when speaking to someone.

Their meat is good, the prices are a little high considering some of the stuff can be bought from another store in town for half the price. The biggest upset is their coupon policy. We bought some fast fixin chicken straps that were bad ( not the store's fault), the company sent a coupon for a free bag but the store wouldn't honor it.

New store, nice and very clean. Deli has the best fried chicken! Staff and management are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable..we have needed a new grocery for a long time. G&W is a great addition to our community.

This is a grocery store, but what makes it stand out more than the rest is the deli food. They do great on the hot foods, so if you don't feel like cooking that day it's hot and fresh. You can even say you cooked it and no one would know the difference. The bakery and meat department are good too. Overall they can help with mostly all of your grocery needs.

I haven’t been getting around very well due to health reasons and needed two cans of corn. I called the store, they took my order, and brought it out to my vehicle. It would’ve taken me at least 30 minutes to go inside but thankfully they zipped it right out to me and I went on my merry way! Such a nice service for those who need it! Thanks G&W

Great deals on Pink ticketed items. The bakery is amazing and you should enter at your own risk. It's addicting. Store is always clean and the people are friendly. Love this place.

This has been a fantastic find in the neighborhood. I am glad they are here serving the community. It is nice to get in and get out without long lines. Management is professional and friendly. They open extra checkers. Employees are available to take groceries to the vehicle. There are cooked food and prepared food items for lunch. The kitchen is open for specials that change by the week.

What more can I say except...huge savings, fresh deli, fruits, meats cut on location that are an incredible buy every time so far. They bag n carry groceries to your car for you and everyone has been so helpful and friendly every single time I have gone in. Right off 54 Hwy across from a convenience store with outdoor tables for eating your fresh meal and handicap shopping carts and parking. Highly recommended location to shop.

I Love this store!!!For a smaller size store than Walmart, the other choice for buying groceries in this town, it has a remarkable variety of HEALTHY alternative and specialty items priced at vary good and comparable prices!!!And the people that work thete as well as the management are so friendly and always available to help the elderly and/or disabled person, such as myself, find exactly the items for which they're are looking.I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE THAT HAS A HEART AND CARES ABOUT GREAT COSTUMER SERVICE TO ANYONE!!!

Changing my review for many reasons. Mainly the cash register kids are rude and too busy talking to the blonde co worker to make sure they get items you paid for into the cart. Walmart has a better selection on many items and that pains me to say but they lost my business permanently when the manager hung up on me 10 minutes ago. Also they sell Hobbs seasoning which is terrible at best. Avoid this market if at all possible.

The chicken is awesome the guy named Adam that works there is very professional personality-wise however they really need to work on cleaning the pans when they're empty instead of dumping fresh food on top of dirty pans this is how people get food poisoning in life I tried to explain that to one of the workers there and he just Shrugged his shoulders and said this is how they do stuff I took a video of it I thought about posting it but I really just hope they think about what they're putting in their customers mouth

Was in the store today, got my cart, when I was entering the store I tripped over the rug because it was not positioned right. Then I made my earth over to produce, looking at the floors there where black marks all over the floor with vegetables as well. There was two male workers on the floor that looked like they needed to have a good shave. Also there was a male individual working in the deli that did not have NO cover over his facial hair and he also had jeans on that where not appropriate to wear. When we where leaving we where getting into our vehicle, we had one of the employees yell a rude commitment at us, I asked her what she said and she kept on walking. So it tells you what kind of employees are at this store.
