This store is horrible. It is so dirty and poorly managed. I'm not really even sure it has a manager. Whoever owns it should be embarrassed. There is so much stuff and boxes in the isles you can't even walk around. I'm aware they need to restock but this was 10 am on a Saturday. I'm definitely not going back.

Typical experience: walk in shop, weave between stacks of open boxes. Grab 2 items stand in line for 5-10 minutes have someone who's been standing there open a second lane to get the people in back of the line because they're friends. I'm at the 10 minute mark now of waiting after a wopping 2 minute shop. I won't be back btw check your change the cashier's are struggling to do the math I straight up had the guy count my change a few times over. I liked this place for convenience before but it lost that with the 15 minute lines unless you're a VIP.

The store is ok. Needs cleaned. The new hire is a very rude person though. Is NOT a people person.*update. 7 months later-No changes for the better in this store. In fact, it's worse. One can barely get down aisles due to the mess everywhere.This person in a wheelchair had a difficult time maneuvering through the large product cart and the mess everywhere. This makes me sad. This should NOT be this way and should not be a challenge for disabled persons or anyone to go down an aisle and try to shop and spend their money here.The entire store is disgusting and needs some serious attention. Where are the higher-ups? Are they mot checking on stores? This is embarrassing.*update a few months later.No change. Aisles are still packed. People still can't get through or see what's on the shelves. This little guy had a hard time. There was also an elderly man there today on an electric handicap scooter, and he was having a MAJOR hard time getting in the aisle. This makes me just angry and disgusted at this store! This is not cool and something needs to be done! This twice that I've seen an elderly person trying to navigate this awful messy store.

I'm leaving a 1 star review because I can't leave you a zero star review. I went into the Iola Dollar Tree this evening and walked out very disappointed. Went in for tomato sauce and stood at the register for 5 minutes waiting on someone to check me out. Within that 5 minutes another customer walked up and wait also. Making the comment does anyone work here? It took me hunting down the cashier to be waited on. Which I should NOT have had to do. There should always be someone watching the front. Instead i find all the workers in the back holding a conversation with each other. This isn't the first time I've had to wait or hunt down someone for help. Management is awful and rude. They talk poorly about their employees where customers can HEAR them, which to me is BAD business. This store is always a mess. So bad that you can't get down an aisle with a cart one way or the other. Boxes everywhere. This store is in trouble if there isn't something done about management. Always hear complaining about how they CANT keep help, well I wonder why. No one is gonna wanna work under poor management. Sorry not sorry...

I think this is the worst Dollar tree I've ever been to and that's coming from someone that is from the Kansas City area and a dollar tree junkie. I've never seen such a mess.

Best Dollar Tree I have been to! This store is organized and well stocked! The employees welcomed me as I came through the door. They all were very friendly and even asked if I needed help finding anything. The floating helium Valentine's balloons were very impressive as you enter into the store!

There's nothing bad I can say about my Dollar Tree Store. They are always friendly! I'm not sure the 25% price increase is warranted since inflation is only at 8% but that's just my 2 cents. 😉

I love shopping at Dollar Tree. They have a wide selection of items, with new merchandise every time you go in. At a dollar per item, anything in the store is affordable. Even if you're not shopping on a budget, you can usually find something you didn't know you needed! One of my favorite stores! UPDATE: Now that they're the $1.25 store, I'm a little more picky about what I pick up and put in my basket, but you can still find a lot of great buys!

Clean and orderly which is always nice! I have visited this location approximately 4 times. I love how clean it is here. The aisles are usually clear, and the shelves are orderly. When I shop here, I usually buy wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift bags and bows. I buy parchment paper because its better than what walmart sells. I get the rubbermaid food storage containers here, and kitchen utensils. I get toothpaste here and sometimes snacks, tape and craft supplies. The employees are cordial, but not overly friendly and that is fine with me. Checking out is usually pretty fast. Sometimes there is a line of 3 or more and they have to call the manager out of the office to help check. I don't like how you have to push the button on the credit card machine to answer if you want a receipt, even if you pay cash. Despite Covid, I'm a germaphobe and don't want to touch it. Overall this is a great store and I will continue to visit.

Took my client to this store to get her mom's birthday gift...picture frames were needed so we decided I would go to the car and put pictures in it while she finished paying. The first two I opened pulled apart at 2 corners...i took the frames all 3 of them and handed them to my client to go in for an exchange...obviously the product was cheaply made and clearly could be seen upon opening...i didn't bother opening the last one. I wouldn't put my photos in any of those types...and I went inside myself to go find 3 frames that were better made. The manager stated she would not exchange anything opened that this would be the only time. I went to the check out with the 3 frames and told the manager that if the product was poorly made she needed to let the vendor know or pull the product. She told my client she was sorry that she couldn't help my client because of me...so I agreed to leave the store so she would take care of the issue and we could be on our way. The manager clearly is in the wrong field. If you cannot take a disgruntled customer upset for defective merchandise that you know is poorly made then you are in the wrong business. While I have no complaints in other products in the store. Beware of having to exchange at this location If you have opened it. Fact is we never left their property and the manager left the frames on the shelf. Not happy with this store because of management and yes...I have contacted corporate concerning both the manager and its defective merchandise looped with NO REFUNDS ON OPENED ITEMS. The assistant manager has reached out to me today and I definitely prefer dealing with her as she is a local and apologized for the treatment of her manager. Candace, ASM, thank you...because of you I will return to this store when I know you are working and she is NOT. Im sure if you were there today and waited on us...I would of had a smooth transaction and I wouldn't of been forced to leave the store so my client could continue with her transaction. This one star review will remain until this non local, out of state sent manager, is no longer....the manager. I have spoken to others concerning this manager...the locals do not like her, or her treatment of its customers. We need this store locally and have waited for it for years to show up but customers do not deserve to be treated this way in a small town where the good ole boy system can truly reflect on local businesses. The prices have been updated to $1.25 on nearly everything even those that weren't worth $1 to begin with. Now they are the plus version. bleach is now only in 1/2 gallons. Less product higher prices...

This is an excellent place to shop if you just need little items and don't want to go clear out to Wal-Mart and they things are just as good. Yes, you can't buy milk or other dairy or some food products but it is still a great place to shop.

I think its realy rude that the manager keeps blameing me and my friends for stealing when we have money and she keeps following around the store stareing at us. And she kick us out when we were just trying to find something to buy.Just tried to go in there and buy a phone case with my friends i was with an adult the manager was highly rood and disrespectful to us and the adult. smh she is so rude and disrespectful and should not be manager if shes gonna accuse ppl (children) of stealing and then wont show them the footage.?

This place is ADDICTIVE.!! Be careful when you walk in. You go in for 1 thing & you end up leaving w/ like 30 or so things. Lol. Seriously tho, its a Great Place to shop.

Mary the stupid manger kicked me and my friends out of there for doing nothing trying to buy stuff and I went there today and Mary was harassing me and my friends and I went there again just now and Mary said we had to bring a parent and we did a nd she yelled at us and I called the head person and now I hope she gets fired
