Nice local store with an excellent assortment of products. They have store made bread and other baked items as well as most brands. Meat is also good and they even have a butcher who can make any kind of cuts for you. I prefer a small store like this to Walmart or any other big boxes. The only reason I give them 4 starts is because cleaning needs to improve and the store is dated.

I have a routine of camping at state fishing lakes and getting provisions at local grocery stores. This one is absolutely fantastic. I found the meat prices to be astoundingly low and the value section was really neat. Keep up the great work guys!

Partially my fault for not checking but last time I shopped there I got some lunch meat that was a month past the expiration date. I didn't realize until I took a bite of the sandwich I was gonna eat before work and had to end up calling in because it made me sick.

Make sure you check "fresh" produce, meat and bakery bread. Twice I've had a bad experience with their premade garlic bread in the bakery having mold on the bottom. Sadly for us we didn't know til I cooked it and my husband bit into it. Same with produce was in a rush and grabbed mushrooms and they were smelly and slimy. Now I inspect everything to make sure its good. Heck even a bottle of fry sauce was expired for two months and I didn't notice til I was at checkout and they offered to discount it but I was so disgusted I said no and please make sure someone checks all the bottles to make sure they aren't expired. I gave a few stars however cause if I need simple things it's closer than walmart..... so there's that.

For our small town grocery store, I think G&W is great. The store is typically clean every time I go, they do a good job at not letting the shelves go empty, and the staff are kind. The only thing wrong with the store I would say is it needs some updating, but otherwise no complaints.

I'm so grateful for our non-walmart grocery store.They have a great selection of produce. I won't buy cilantro anywhere else bc theirs is the most potent and fresh.Different weekly sale items. You can usually find soda or chips or snacks at a better price than Walmart, you just have to pay attention.Great meat sales and nice looking cuts. Custom cuts if you want. Cut by the real live butcher they have *on staff*Clearance items, especially produce. It's a great way to save money.And they have different stuff you can't find anywhere else around here, like tamale wrappers, like locally grown gourmet mushrooms from TLC (!!!), Amish-made cheeses and summer sausage. Locally blended seasonings. Ott's Buffalo sauce. Kaopectate isn't carried by anyone else locally. Their house brand spices in the big containers. I have a lot of those.You can grab a quick lunch for a good price at the deli counter, or the 8 piece special on Mondays.The staff are helpful. They always ask me if I'm finding what I need. They have enough checkers so you don't have to stand in line for 10 mins. They'll load your groceries in your car if you need/want them to.Thank you for everything you are, G&W.

G&W is not my main shopping outlet as their prices are a bit higher then other outlets. Their best feature is their dollar aisle, and some products not available at Walmart. IMO, their deli fried chicken is better than Wal-Mart and KFC.

The customer service is great to be honest , but I'm not gonna lie I have gotten food from there on more than one occasion and honestly its been bad. From fruits to veggies to meat like its so bad to the point even my 6 year old daughter could tell it was bad. But they have always been great on either refunding me or getting better products. Just wish the selections were better knowing priceses can be a bit high than walmart and the food is less than the quality of walmart

Great hometown grocery store. Better than Walmart on many aspects, most importantly the meat department. Full deli with chicken and other food ready to order. Meat department will cut to order just ask. The staff is always friendly and willing to help.

Prices a bit higher on grocery items so buying on sale or knowing where to shop for what is a good idea. The deli, bakery and meals to go are great. Produce and choice meats are very good. Adequate parking. Closer to downtown area. Only a few checkout lanes. Hasn't been modernized much.

Just moved to town didn't have what I needed at other store so popped in here to see if they did and they did in Big bottles Cary's SF syrup I was surprised hard to find in store. Bought 2 bottles to have a spare will go there for hard to find items from now on and to see their supply of SF items as well.

G & W is the best. Great people who care about you and WANT to help you. Great selection. Clean. Wonderful meat. Terrific sales. Heavily involved in our town. I love shopping here and visiting with the sales staff. Store buys from local producers. Gotta love that, too!

Prices were alright... Meat selection was good... 5 for 25 is always nice deal but skimpy looking country style ribs... Other places are bigger/more in each package so they are not really worth the 5$. The deli has the best chicken I have ever had!!!!

Small town store with helpful and friendly staff. They have many things you cannot find at Wal-Mart and the best thing is if they don't have an item you're looking for, they will get it in the store with your promise to regularly purchase the product.Make sure to check out the deli. I recommend the catfish and chicken strips!

So much better now that G&W took over. Great for sales and coupons, otherwise, prices can be pretty high and bulk fresh chicken never available. Great new freezers, but still more needs to be done. Fresh produce varies in reliability; sometimes an abundance and looks great, sometimes over ripe and hardly stocked. Definitely making improvements!

G&W is about the same as a Fiesta Foods. If you don't know what that is, you're too young to be shopping alone and should probably call your mom for assistance.The store was clean and staff was nice.I was basically only there for the fireworks stand in the parking lot.If their prices were better, I'd shop there instead of Walmart, but I'm on a budget and they just charge too much for certain items.Anyway, it's a decent store.

Some of the prices are high on some things. Their meat is fresh and they can cut the cut you want if they don't have it out. The produce is always fresh and crisp. The staff is helpful and very friendly. I prefer their produce and meat over Walmart any day!

Excellent store for groceries located locally. The size of the store decreased the number of steps needed to survey all departments. There are many of the named brands available along with generic options that allow savings items. The check out was prompt and efficient. They also sell beer both domestic and international options.Hours are reasonable and employees are helpful. Assistance is provided to the vehicle with larger orders. There is a deli inside that serves lunches and hot food. Nice place to go for convenience. Prices are higher than Walmart.

A typical American grocery store, like it should be. A great alternative to shopping at the anti American Walmart establishment. Great selection, decent prices, friendly service and few if any "made in China" labels. It WOULD be a great place to shop if they'd kill the loud rock music. That was the one drawback I found here. Could be a 5 star experience, but the music is uncomfortable and made me want to hurry and get out of there. I would have purchased more if I could have shopped in peace and comfort and not felt violated and nervous from the unnecessary noise pollution.
