Asked for fresh 6 piece and got home to find out I got old fries and chicken strips that were dropped back into the fryer ended up given two to my dog cause I couldn’t even eat them. I used to loved eating here but im starting to not like it anymore.

I paid for extra ranch. I got none at all. I got 2 chicken strip baskets, with chicken strips so burnt it was falling apart, and like 10 fries, literally. If a customer pays extra for ranch, and gets chicken strip baskets. Please give them what they asked for and paid for. This is ridiculous. Pure laziness.

Most of the food was heated up in the microwave, the burger was still cold.. Gravy was water with white chunks and smelled like dirty feet! When I called the manager Shelby or whatever her name was (same girl that served me my food in the drive thru) said she didn't know and would check it out... Rudly interested me after she asked if there was something she could do next time I came in... I WONT BE GOING BACK IF SHE STILL WORKS THERE!! STRAIGHT UP LIED ....

Yet another restaurant falling short do to the pure laziness of employees that are just there for a paycheck. The fact that the employee dump half of the blizzard on the ground, and his hand, and then flipped back over, still gave it to my wife, and sent her on her way is appalling. We need to do better than this. It's just unacceptable. Melted ice cream and poor customer service. Tried to include a picture, but two blizzards, completely melted, and one overflowing the cup causing quite the mess in our car.

We stopped at this DQ on a road trip during Christmas vacation. The drive thru host was polite, patient and professional at the order speaker. She was friendly and upbeat at the food window. Everything in Our order was correct and was DQ tasty. Thank you for a job well done!! Definitely recommend this location!!

Long review warning!Dairy Queen has the absolute worst Drive-thru service in the entire town of Independence. I don’t say that lightly. I would never post a negative review after only one or two visits. As a local who’s resided here for several years, I visit Dairy Queen often. However, every single time I go through the drive thru? My order is wrong, or I’m missing items. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’m so used to them doing this, I’ll check my bag before driving away from the window now, when usually I check the bag at the end of the drive way to then drive off.. but I can never drive off, I have to always correct what’s wrong/missing when I come to DQ.When told what is wrong/missing sometimes the order is fixed if their mess up is small enough, but if it’s more than leaving out the gravy (My biggest issue is never getting the gravy. Which is a DQ fan favorite, it’s why I’m here a lot of the time)- prepare to argue and pay for their mistakes. I spent 10+ minutes telling 3 different people what they left out of my order that I know for a fact I stated loudly and clearly, since they get my order wrong so often, and I always have someone with me witnessing in the passenger seat. I didn’t even get to tell these three people at the same time. I told one person, so another person came in for me to repeat MULTIPLE times. Then after going through repeating myself an aggravating amount of times, and them still not getting my order right and charging my card more, then another person was sent for me to repeat myself a few more times. THEN the order was still wrong but I was so frustrated I admitted defeat and left. I don’t like to be a complicated customer. We all have our bad days, we’re human. But with my experience through the drive thru being a constant disappointment for over a year, this last visit was my final straw.I don’t want this to be a negative review entirely. I am a DQ fan for life! The food is still ALWAYS delicious and great quality. Ice cream always on point. I don’t have these same issues when I come inside to eat, only go through the drive-thru. The lobby experience is a complete opposite, with friendly staff, a clean place to eat, and my order is usually right if I come inside.Honestly, most of the employees complain they can’t hear well no matter the many cars, or people I’ve been with through the drive-thru. It’s not just a me or my car might be loud issue, because I come through in a different vehicles, and sometimes I’m the passenger in another vehicle and it’s always the same. I truly believe if DQ just upgraded their drive-thru system, they would have less issues (I don’t know how those things work, but based on my experience, this is my educated guess).I hope my review reaches the right person, and everyone sees change soon for the drive-thru experience. Everything else is great about DQ. Its a brag worthy piece of Independence that we have a DQ. It’s clear there are some hardworking people behind it all. Just go inside to enjoy it, do NOT go through the drive-thru.

My neice's burger was ordered with only ketchup. Came out with everything. I took to counter and had it fixed. Sat back down and almost gagged when I put my burger close to my mouth. It smelled like something was rotten. Looked and the tomato slice was absolutely disgusting. I sure went back to the counter. We probably will never visit that DQ again.

Decently good food, but service is a little bit of an issue. Depending on the time of day, your order could be wrong, take forever to get, or both.However, while they may be slower than alternatives, the food is pretty good and their blizzards are pretty unique!

My husband went in side to get our order, when he came out it was oh my at the sight of my strawberry sundae I had ask for a small but it over filled the dish and it was covered with cool-whip and a cherry. It was very tasty and very cold and they remembered the napkins. My husband had a peanut buster parfae but he had peanuts replaced with pecans and chocolate ice cream and hot fudge and my husband loved every single bite. yes we needed the extra napkins. it was a great ending to a great day out.

This place has turned into a joke. Went there for dinner with my kid on Halloween. Ordered a #1 meal and a grilled chicken meal. Waited in the long line to pay and get our food just to be told at the window they were out of grilled chicken. Funny thing is the girl in the window told me they have been out for over a week and decided not to tell the customer until after they wait in line. One day this place might actually get a owner or have managers that care about customers.
