What a great experience! We love our bernedoodle pup so much. Curtis made the progress so easy. He was patient with our two wild little boys running around too! Our pup is so sweet and you can tell they love on their pups there and really care for them before they go to their forever homes. Highly recommend!

Although we're on the East Coast and were unable to visit, Curtis was great over the phone, via text, email, FaceTime, etc... We were completely comfortable with every aspect of the process.More importantly, we're in love with out puppy Finn! He's almost seven months old now. He was easily house trained and crate trained. Our Mini Sheepadoodle from Prairie Hill Puppies "Kelsey" is 2 years old and is the love of our lives. She is healthy, happy, and affectionate without being needy. Her size is perfect! 30ish pounds, and mid-sized height-wise. She's friendly and playful with other dogs, people, and our rather stubborn bulldog. Curtis was helpful with transportation and questions. We would buy a puppy from them again.

We just got our puppy and it was a wonderful experience! From day one when we first started talking to Prairie Hill puppies their staff was so helpful and willing to talk to us. Curtis kept us updated and sent us multiple pictures and videos so we could pick the most perfect puppy for us. When we went to pick her up Curtis gave us a blanket that had our puppies mom scent which has truly helped with crate training and sleeping, they gave us toys, sample of the food, and other items that were extremely helpful for our long drive home and first few days. We feel that Prairie hill puppies truly does care about their puppies and health. Our puppy is extremely healthy and happy and I think it reflects where she comes from. I just received my second doodle from Prairie Hill Puppies. My first, 7 month old tri-colored Sheepadoodle is so smart, loving and playful, that we decided to get him a pal. We have now added an adorable Bernadoodle to our family.So, why, when I live near Seattle, did I go all the way to Kansas for my puppies? I spent months researching breeders across the country. I wanted to make sure they had a responsible breeding program, offered a health guarantee, didn’t crop tails and had good customer service. After checking reviews and consumer reports and talking with Spencer, the son of business owner Curtis, I knew I’d finally found the right place.Not only did Prairie Hill live up to my standards, but they produce the most beautiful, loving, healthy and intelligent puppies one could hope for! Moki has been a dream dog. So easy to train and he loves everyone, including the Tibetan Mastiff he plays with next door. Plus, he is a beautiful puppy who gets plenty of attention wherever we go.Because Roco doesn’t have the standard Bernie markings, he wasn’t chosen during the first round picks. This turned out to be a blessing for me since I wanted a puppy close in age to my Sheepadoodle. So far, day 3 at our house, Roco comes to his name, sits and uses the doggie door to go out and do his business (although there have been a couple accidents). And what a sweet temperament. He is so joyful and cuddly!I couldn’t be happier with my puppies. Save yourself a lot of headaches and go to Prairie Hill Puppies. We drove to Kansas for our first pup, but the 2nd was sent safely by air. Distance shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

I very highly recommend PHP. I got my Cavapoo, Astra (previously Teresa), 2 days ago and she is thriving. She seems to already be potty trained. They keep detailed records of their dogs and you can tell they treat them like family. Very impressed! 🐾 ❤️

Amazing experience from start to finish. Curtis and his family are very nice and make the process very easy. It was very important to me to ensure the dogs were coming from a good place and that it was all being done in a humane way. I wouldn’t trade my sheepadoodle for anything. They both barely needed any training.

Prairie Hill Puppies was the third breeder I contacted when I decided I wanted a mini-Sheepadoodle. The first had a very long wait and I began noticing puppies coming back with joint issues. The second had horrible customer service and treated my questions about their process as an annoyance.When I found PHP, I knew I had the right place. They spent at least 30 minutes on the phone answering my initial questions. Afterwards, as I was making decisions about what to buy to be ready, I had all my emails responded to within 24 hrs. When the litter was announced, I was given an opportunity to see all the available puppies via video, learn about their personalities and make the right choice for my husband and me.Today we have a very healthy, playful and intelligent tri-colored puppy. It is obvious that he received a lot of love and attention before we brought him home. And he must have come from calm and intelligent parents, because at 9 weeks he is already trained to come, sit, leave it and is almost potty-trained. In May 2022 we purchased an apricot miniature poodle from PHP. We have been so happy with her that this spring (2023) we decided to add another. The first few days at home with both dogs was rocky. The owner was very supportive and gave me phone numbers to trainers he has used and even offered to switch out the puppy that was going to be mine. We decided to give the puppy more time to adjust to our home and I am so thankful that we did. BOTH of our miniature poodles are excellent family dogs and I thankful to know they were well cared for and loved every minute of their lives prior to coming into my home.

Great experience getting my puppy. They took PayPal to make everything very easy for payment, we’re available and responsive to questions, and the pick up at Wichita airport was on time and easy. My puppy is adorable, healthy, and sweet as expected. We picked up our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel back in May of 2020. We chose to work with Curtis after much research and finding out his absolute love and care for his puppies. He breeds beautiful, healthy, and happy pups and works hard to ensure they find their way to great homes. Writing when my mini sheepadoodle's 9mo. I read horror stories about breeders, so really did my research. Curtis was the ONLY breeder (& I looked countrywide, and had her delivered) who would answer all the (admittedly paranoid seeming) questions & produce the records my research said I should require. I'm so happy I was this selective! I also used Liz Hagar, their trainer, for a month before taking her. She is healthy, smart, adorable, sooo sweet, even-tempered & well behaved. Her month of training landed her far beyond what I'd even hoped. Comparing her to other pups, I feel so lucky! She did have mild giardia when she came to me, which I only knew b/c I got her checked immediately. Vet treated with meds & said it's so common in pupies (like the flu or cold for kids) & that she'd build immunity, which she seems to have, bc no issues. I love her so, and she's the best decision I ever made.
