Everyone at Mid Kansas Marine was fantastic! They made the purchase of our new boat an easy, efficient and outstanding experience. Our salesperson, Garett, went above and beyond to help us pick up an accessory which had previously been purchased elsewhere. He took his time, thoroughly explaining the details of our boat which really helped us compare apples to apples in our price comparison. Mid Kansas Marine got us the boat we wanted at the best price! They took their time, treated us with courtesy, answered all our questions, educated us about the specifics of our boat, and told us to call anytime we need help or have more questions in the future. Considering we are out of state and not likely to service our boat there, it's most generous of them to offer their time. Purchased a new boat in June 2019I felt I received a fair deal as far as the purchase went but that's where the good service stopped. Had to take the boat back to get things fixed that we were told were taken care of. Never could get them to put the correct prop on the boat I had to pay another shop for that. Up front you do get a good deal but service after the sale is really lacking.

Garett got me in last year before tournament season and fixed my boat up in a timely manner for a great price. Made it all the way through the season to find out I had a seal start to leak on my lower unit. ( wasn’t what it was In for last). Just recently brought it back in and they got it in and out! Hands down the easiest group of guys to work with and know their stuff. Highly recommend them for any Mercury outboard work needed!!!

Mid Kansas Marine is the ONLY shop I go to for everything I need on my boat. The staff is quick and knowledgeable about everything I've ever required. I've always gotten great advice as well as very reasonably priced repair work on the items I couldn't handle myself.

Called for a simple question on an engine swap, they are not allowed to give any info on engines unless you take it to them. It was not over a repair that they were going to do, I am 200 miles away from them. Very rude. What happened to friendly service these days. I own a repair shop and try to help people every way I can, even if it is just for info.

Fixed my Navigator 520 that was leaking from the lower part. The guys fixed it in real time and at a reasonable price contradictory to the higher prices others charge for the same service. However the repair work did not supported much. Took it for a ride after getting it fixed and on my way back the repair work was running again. Got it fixed for the second time and it came out to be a permanent fix. No troubles till date. Thanks guys

Well, i dont quite know what to say about my experience there. Garrett the sales i dealt with is a nice guy, but did not tell the complete truth as i was trying to buy a boat there. I called accouple days after i saw this triton boat for sale on boat trader. I was told rather rudely this is the owners boat and its not forsale, i dont know why its listed! I get a call 2-3 weeks later from one of the salesman. Telling the boat is for sale. So thinking its a nice 21 foot triton with low hours and a mercury racing 250xs on back i put some money down to hold the boat, was never told it or signed nothing telling me its non refundable. So get financing going with them and the marines finance company they work with and the marines finace manager Susan act super funny and as rude as she could be with me about getting a loan. I dont know what kinda of loan they had worked up but it was not good, so i go get my own financing. I had no troubles getting financing with a 759 credit score. Everything seems to be good i had to finish the job i was on befor i could make it out to kansas from colorado to buy the boat, so it took a little longer to get out there then expected. So i get out there on a friday evening planning to pick boat up on saturday morning. I see the marine doesnt look in the best of shape and kind of more in the not so nice part of town, paint peeling off the building all kinda of different boats in there yard. So i stayed in hutchinson, show up in the morning to pick up the boat and it was like the marine was caring on with a show, acting as if they where going to show accouple boats that day. First they pull out this boat that looks alright from where i was sitting, but i noticed no other customer has showed up to look at this boat. Then they pull out the boat i was looking to buy, and dissapears, so we go over to the boat thinking some salesmen will come outside and put two and two together im the one buying the boat. Start looking at it and it was a utter nightmare, the bottom of the boat looked like somebody had been parking on a rock bank and i was told there is one or two lights scratches nothing to be alarmed about. Try like 20 or 30 scratchs down the hull. Lower unit had so much fresh paint on it there were runs, the water pick ups and even bolts to the lower unit was painted. The propeller had been polished so hard it was scratch and come to find out it was a pro xs 250 With 250xs mercury racing stickers. So i had been lied to about alot of the things this boat in tailed i go inside to tell them im not interested and get my money i put down to hold the boat. Garrett played dumb about everything and dissappeared, then a few minutes later Susan appears. Wow what an experience. I told her i was not interested in the boat and she instantly went to screaming and yelling at me. I was told in the rudest most unprofessional way my money was not refundable, they had to hold the boat for a month, thats my husbands boat and its clean as a button,(odviously doesnt know what the bottom of the boat looks like and everything else that was wrong with it!) and then proceeds to try and talk over me and interrupted when i was just trying to politely say im not interested and can i have my money back please. I could keep going but this review is long enough and i didnt even put all the details into what happened just a brief over view. So all in all if you want to deal with rude untrustworthy people go to mid kansas marine in hutchinson kansas!!! Youll get the experience of a life time!!!

This place has vicious dogs that run loose. My husband and I with our puppy were attacked while walking down the sidewalk by 2 large dogs. One was black and the other tan. My husband and i had to pull them off of our puppy and then one of them ran onto the road, still snarling, and was almost hit by an RCat.There are leash laws for a reason. These dogs should be put down as they are vicious and attack people walking on a public throughway in the middle of the day.We told whoever we were able to find on the premises. If it happens again, we will take mattera into our own hands.
