I am reviewing the restaurant section on the east end of the building, not the gas station/convenience store itself. Traveling through Hoxie on our way home from Wichita, we wanted to stop for a meal at the bistro, but our timing was off - it was closed. Thinking we'd just grab a little Hot Stuff pizza, we were surprised they had an extensive menu of good sounding food - not your typical gas station fare! The woman cooking and serving was friendly and helpful, very pleasant. My husband had an excellent (and large) BBQ pulled pork sandwich on a toasted bun, with crispy seasoned french fries. I had a huge taco salad. The taco shell bowl was loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, black olives, seasoned meat, grated cheese, even thick wavy sliced cucumbers on top, and chopped green bell peppers. Salsa, sour cream, jalapenos and banana peppers too. Everything was great! We were told they've only recently started serving such a selection, and it's been a big hit. We were very glad we stopped!

Food is horrible on deli side, buy packaged food on store side if hungry. Couple of helpful pleasant cashiers, the rest act like customer has ruined their day by coming to the counter.

used to have great pizza but now only serves disgusting overpriced redneck gruleavoid, if you want good pizza go to gambinos in colby, if you want good food in hoxie there is none

This place is absolutely horrible the employees are nothing but rude and unhelpful they act like they’re only there for the paycheck and could care less about the customers. The management wonders why they can’t keep any help because they are so rude and disrespectful. They hardly have any help anymore went into go to the deli on the weekend and couldn’t get anything to eat because they hardly had to help so we close on the weekends This place is terrible. Get better help tell me You would have happy customers

Terribly rude people just in general the Townes, an staff was no better. Go to pay put my card in the machine the lady stares at me for 15 seconds an goes card machine isn't working there's a ATM over there. So now I have to pay a ATM fee which I'm shur they own, to buy a 4.99 chicken sandwich. No thankyou.
