Fun stop! Holton is a beautiful town with brick layed roads. Pennys is right on their very quaint square. We met some John Prine fans and talked with a few friendly locals. I'm not good about pics of food but let me tell you the Egg Bites we're so yummy and fluffy, I ate 2. My husband had a Bacon,egg,cheese in a toasted panini. It was fabulous 👌Parking: We pulled our rv across 4 parking spots on the square. EasyWheelchair accessibility: Their sidewalks look new. Newly laid bricks and concrete. I feel confident there are accessible ramps.

I absolutely LOVE having a local coffee shop in top. I'm always greeted with a smile and everyone is friendly. I got hooked on their iced caramel macchiato! They also work with a local bakery to bring in yummy treats every day! Great atmosphere with a little kids area, mini library and a couple of other local business booths on one side of the shop.

They always have delicious pastries and homemade goodies each day.The event space at Penny's is awesome.! Be sure to stop in and see it -plan now for your receptions, birthdays, showers, weddings and business meetings. Can't beat the location on the Square.This is what Holton needed!

Interior is lovely: especially the balcony space upstairs. The event venue/ballroom in the back is also really nice. Feels very professional and polished. Can sometimes tend to be a little cool (in terms of physical temperature).

Great coffee and very cozy, clean atmosphere! My kids especially loved the play area upstairs. Hidden treasure of Holton! She was able to order coffee beans for me, too. My new coffee go-to.

Penny’s has great coffee, the pastries were yummy, loved the music and deco, but it needs a good cleaning. Table tops were dirty, floor desperately needed cleaning and bathrooms were dirty. This could be a great coffee shop just keep it cleaned.

The coffee is great and the atmosphere is good too but by the time I'm posting this its monday and the shop was supposed to be open at 7am - 5pm. Its 10:30am and we went by, it wasnt open. I've had this issue with you many times and I want you guys to be open when you say you are please.

We were able to meet there after coming back to Holton from a Honor Flight back to Washington DC. The owners were nice enough to use there property for a meet and greet.

Highly competent, intelligent (and good looking!) staff! Whoever did the remodeling work is a genius and is a bear for detail.
