Terrible Experience. If I could give a negative star I would…Unfortunately my cat Prim developed a hematoma on her ear that needed a vets’s attention and possibly a prescription. We were put into a dirty room that obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the previous visit, an unfriendly vet came in to examined her for maybe a few seconds, walked out, came back in and without telling me what she planned to do took a with a butterfly needle and poked her and drew off the fluids (didn’t clean the area prior to sticking her) and since neither of us were expecting her to just be stuck she jumped which caused the needle to fall out so blood and fluids then flung all over my face, my cat, the wall…everywhere. Vet then grabs some ointment from her pocket and puts a huge glob on my cats ear…didn’t bother to clean the blood or fluids from her ear after she drained it, then proceeds to clean the wall off while telling me my cat will need surgery and to come back next week. I quickly asked about an Antibiotic (she did just poke my cat and exposed her to even more risk for infection) and if she could get a cone since she has a habit of scratching her ear with her back claws and was told no she would be okay without an antibiotic and given a cone.This all costed me $117. Exam $50 , Hematoma Drainage $30, Ear Ointment 3ml $23 (didn’t get this to take home or anything) and a neck cone $9 and left with a cat still uncomfortable and not treated.I would have paid $300 if it meant my cat could get to feeling better and her ear was treated but places like this small vet clinic abuse the fact that pet owners love their animals and will do anything to help them get better. I’m hoping they will attempt to rectify the situation and do the right thing and treat my cat…if not I think a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau would be complete appropriate.

Make sure you make your needs well known to the staff when you arrive. I had to have my black lab Nic put to sleep. It wasn't emergent but it was time. this was my favorite vet, great care and excellent prices. It was my first time ever doing this with my pets. I arrived and paid. they called us to a room and rushed through everything, before I knew it the two girls gave him the injection and he was gone. with me still standing by the door. they didn't ask me of I'd like to hold him during the process which is what I would've liked so I could comfort him during the process and he would know I was there with him. afterwards they just told me they'd give me some time with him alone. My poor baby died on the floor in front of strangers and it still breaks my heart to this day. this may be an everyday JOB to you, but these are our family members and Loved ones we put in your care. Not just some old dog that needs euthanized.Edit: I can't find where to respond to your response, but it happened a long time ago 9yrs ago. I don't remember the exact date, but it wasn't Dr Baehler. I don't know if there was a vet involved or if the techs did it. I never thought about leaving a review to help improve service for other patrons until now. All His other care was good. Thank you for responding.

I’ve seen a-lot of vets. I told these people they have the cleanest vet I have probably seen. Front and back. I was very impressed.Most of the time the fronts people see are clean. This place was clean everywhere.I guarantee If I was local I’d take my animals there.

I only recently started going here, and I will never go anywhere else. The staff is amazing, and they all go above and beyond to help you and your pet out. As a first time dog owner (and a husky at that!) they have helped me out so much and made things so much easier. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. If you're looking for a great vet you've found it.

We've been taking our pets here for 20 years. Dr. Baehler is second to none. He's extremely capable and compassionate. He'll never give up on your furbaby if you don't want to, but will also help you gently decide when it's "time." I wouldn't go anywhere else, and hope he never retires. His office staff and vet techs are helpful, professional, and courteous. Best. Vet. Ever.

We had an emergency happen with our dog. We normally go to a different vet, but didn't have time to get there. Hesston was the closest vet to us. This was our first time to the vet was highly impressed with Dr. Baehler. They kept our dog overnight to watch her and Dr. Baehler even took her home with him to ensure that she was stable throughout the night. Thank you very much Hesston Veterinary Clinic! We will definitely be back!

I visited this location with my girlfriend to get one of the pups after she was injured, and was thoroughly impressed to the point of moving my two boys from another vet come this July for their shots and any other issue that may arise.

Dr Gary Baehler has 35 years of experience. Doc Baehler and his staff are compadent, knowledgeable professionals. They are also helpful and caring. The Hesston Vet Clinic offers 5 Star QUALITY SERVICES at reasonable rates. I recommend the HVC. They are true BLESSINGS in our "furry" children's lives (and ours too).
