My dog LOVES coming here. He knows what day he goes to doggy day care and won’t let me forget. I’ve always had luck with their boarding, there was one issue but it was my dogs anxiety not boarding. Highly recommend

So far, very good experience...registering my dog for day care/ boarding...Desiree has been very nice and helpful.When I actually try the day care, I will update this...*Update July 2022Day care and boarding overnight a successful endeavor. My dog enjoyed himself, the staff took great care, and it was stress free for me and affordable.

Our go-to for boarding our dogs. They always seem to have a great time and are well taken care of. The drop off and pick up hours are convenient and the prices are fair. They have nearly always have openings on short notice except on holidays, so plan ahead! Highly recommend!

We take our rescue pup here twice a week for socialization. He loves it and hurries to the door every time we arrive. He has learned to be a dog here, LOL.

The staff was super friendly upon our arrival. Check-in was easy and they answered all of our questions, even though it was the start of a busy holiday weekend for them. We knew our boxer would be in great hands. When we returned a few days later to pick him up he was happy to see us, and he acted as if he had enjoyed his time. We were told he had big fun running with the other dogs when they were let outside. Now today, our first day at home he is happily sleeping away the day. He is happy and tired which we love. Looking forward to using the Hound Dog Hotel again

Amazing Place! My dogs have been various times through multiple years and two different owners (both great). This place has always been good but it just keeps getting better and better. My dogs love it! They really care about the animals, very affordable and take care of the animals with such love. Hands down the best place in the Wichita metro area.

My dog absolutely loves it there. He is always so excited to go and tired for days when he comes home. It's great for his socialization with other dogs and people. I can just tell by talking to them how much they like my dog. The dogs play with eachother when they are not eating or sleeping. I'm not anxious when I drop him off like I used to be because I know he is in good hands and will prob have more fun than me. Cant say enough good things about this place. And all for $20/night. Totally worth it for your pooch!

Best place I could ever ask for! I had one dog when we first started going there. Now we have two. They both come home from daycare TIRED!!! I am told my pups just run all day long while there and I believe it! I have two very high energy breeds. Wearing them out isn't easy but The Hound Dog Hotel makes it look like it is! I would be lost in sanity with my two babies if it was not for this amazing business. The owner is local to Haysville and supports the community. Now we need to support her! Plus whos puppy wants to be locked up all day when they have so much fun and play opportunists. If you don't give them a shot. It is your LOSS for sure! Definitely recommended!!!!!!!

We have taken our dog to the Hound Dog Hotel for years. Sandy and Randy do an awesome job taking care of our dog. We moved to the Northwest part of town a few years ago, but when we board our dog, we still make the drive to take him there. He loves going there.

We left our pooch here for a whole week! When we picked him up he was very happy and healthy. I loved the fact that the dogs are able to play outside most of the day and separated by size and temper. Staff was friendly and caring.

NEW OWNERS, THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FROM THE OLD OWNERS! If could give less than a 1 star I would. Very unprofessional. Big dog owners beware, they have thin vinyl fencing that's easily pushed through to escape (i was able to do so with my hand) They lost my dog within 5 hrs of her arriving, then waited 2 hours to call me when I was getting dark. They never found her I had multiple people searching for her THE NEXT DAY and they found her only a block away asleep in a yard. We got extremely lucky for the safe return of my baby. They were still charging me for day care, and I don't know how long my dog was even in their care, their stories kept changing, I was told this has happened before. Sandy called me a few select names when she couldn't understand why I was upset. Please think long and hard before putting your dog here, the cheap rates reflect the cheap care given.

Passing through town and boarded my pups for the night. The young lady I spoke with was really sweet and professional. The facility looked and felt clean. I was very confident about their stay. Will def use again if I'm in the area again.

Took my Shorkie there twice because I know everyone can have a bad day!! Both times it was the worst haircut ever!! The second time, I made a 9AM appointment, at 4PM I called....they were just starting on her! They said they had been busy??!! Why make an appointment if they are going to take every dog that comes in ahead of her?? When I picked her up at 5 she was the only dog left, not only was she traumatized but she looked AWFUL!!!! They shaved her body and did not touch her face or head!! She looked like a lion!! I will never go there again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

The old girl that was up there bayley? Or Kaylee? Something with a ley. Always posted pictures of our babies to let us know how they were. Now the new person doesn’t. We never get any pictures. And nobody checks social media anymore for questions. It’s a good place they just aren’t attentive anymore and I know Sandy usually wouldn’t tolerate that. They are usually on their game but haven’t been for a long time. I’ve had my friends that I’ve tried to get up there try to contact them through Facebook and they never respond and they have called and people don’t pick up often anymore. And the person upfront isn’t very nice during pickups and drop offs and and is not nice on the phones either. Super snippy like they just don’t want to be there . I just don’t understand what’s going on up here lately. Something just seems off. This was the best place we’ve ever gone but with how things are running this year we just don’t know if we’ll be there much longer. You guys need new employees

I highly recommend that pet owners go somewhere else with their pets. I paid in advance for my boston terrier to stay at the hound dog hotel for 4 days, with instructions that my father would be there to pick her up. When he showed up, THEY STILL MADE MY DAD PAY (again)FOR THE DOG'S STAY- I had to call and complain and my dad had to return to their dump so he could get his money back. THEN- my dad took my dog to my house and says my dog is acting timid and odd, scratching profusely, and was drinking lots of water like she was very thirsty. So when my mother-in-law gets to my house to care for the dog, she noticed the same symptoms and gave the dog a bath...where she found 3 TICKS! Please take your dog some where else, unless you don't care....

I take my fur baby to diva dogs and have always have had a good experience. Two years ago while my dog was being groom my husband died unexpectedly and diva dogs offered to keep Bizkit as long as needed. Great people.

I was not impressed with Jax’s week long stay here at all. When I picked him up he was filthy and his rear end was covered in poop. His collar was pulled tighter than normal, extremely dirty, and even the backside of his name tag had pieces missing from it. When I got home he immediately ran to the yard and had diarrhea. He was panting hard all evening and very lethargic. I took him to the vet the first thing the next morning and he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and a stomach bug. The vet believes they fed him the incorrect amount or wrong type of food (even when I took his own food and gave specific feeding instructions), causing the pancreatitis. I would never recommend boarding your animal here.

They go above and beyond. Max is very scared of storms. Someone went out and sat with max. And did there best to reassure him he was ok. We will use them whenever we can't take max with us.

After walking through and reviewing, I was stunned at the abhorrent little chain link cages the dogs are kept in. Each little torture cell next to the other.Under no circumstances should this business exist!Walked out and got the H### out if there as fast as I could.
