Motel six is a good price, pet friendly. But they do not give you shampoo and conditioner. No continental breakfast.Rooms: The rooms are kept clean.Nearby activities: Denny's was in walking distance.

The rooms were just okay, but it was very reasonably priced. And the location was very good. The staff was niceRooms: They weren't in the best shape. But it was very cheap, so I was okay with it

If you expect fancy accommodations from a motel 6 you're legally a Karen. But this place is legit. Meets the needs without breaking the bank. $100+ hotels these days are a joke. This place is affordable. Clean. Owners are kind and considerate. Awesome to be able to pull your car right up to your door. Nice gas station next door to gas and get back on the road. Which is what most anyone who is in this area needing lodging is doing. Last exit on 35N before hitting the turnpike. First one once you get off it heading south. My thanks to the Motel 6 in South Haven Kansas for putting me up so I could eat and rest and finish my long drive!

Easy access right off I-35 at exit 4. Room was very clean with no odors. No bugs that I saw anywhere in the room even with an outside entry door. I drive a truck and this was where I decided to spend my time so I could take a shower and relax. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Very friendly owner and staff. Cafe next door attached to hotel also. Front desk said Cafe closes at 10pm, not 7pm like Google maps shows. Great experience for me. They can accommodate some 18 wheeler parking, but I parked in the dirt gravel lot at the truck stop right next door to the Motel 6.

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. Beware not much around. If you want food it is the gas station or drive 15mi into town. However if, like me, you prefer the quiet, than this hotel may be for you. I was coming back to Dallas from Minneapolis for a dog show and this was a great stop along my way with my two dogs. They were kind enough to give me a room in the back to take my dogs out and also give me two vacant rooms ajoining so my dogs wouldn't be bothered and wouldn't bother any other guests. Perfect.

Come prepared. There is no...hair drier, shampoo, conditioner, facial tissue, spare toilet paper, in room coffee, continental breakfast. Bath towels were thin and frayed. Blankets were thin and sheets were stained. Freezer didn't work. There are no restaurants close by. Common area hallway needed cleaned during our 2 day stay which makes me question how much cleaning was done in our room.

Owners have spent money where they should. Inside the rooms are updated. Building exterior and hallways are dated. Might be the best $50 room I've stayed in. It is in the middle of nowhere, well lit parking and a 24hr convenient store next door and thatis it. Felt safe and clean. Staff are very friendly. Can't speak to service. Only stayed overnight and had no requests

Very kind and courteous and thank you for e planning door handle on my room 114. Room was clean and water was hot and didn't get cold on me during my shower. Bedding was clean and room was comfortable and very quiet place to get rest and relaxation after long day traveling in a semi or vehicle. Thank you so much

Pretty decent. The bed is comfortable and blankets are decent. The air conditioner is a little difficult to figure out and I thought it wasn't working at first, but you just have to hold down on the button for a few seconds to keep it on. No coffee maker or hair dryer, though there is a mini fridge. There is a microwave in the lobby that you can use. My room was spacious, but the room was arranged a little awkwardly, making it feel like there was less furniture than there actually was. I had a good night's sleep and everything was clean. I don't know why google says on-site dining. Do vending machines count? The closest restaurant is like ten minutes away.

This place was great!! We stopped here spontaneously because a sign said it was the last exit before the turnpike, and it was getting late. I was expecting there to be something wrong with the place when we drove up on a Friday night and there was only one car in the parking lot, but of all the hotels on our week-long road trip, this was by far the nicest, cleanest, largest, quietest, most modern, and yet CHEAPEST one we stayed in! And our fur-baby was welcome to stay, too! Microwave and mini-fridge in the room. Also, this may seem like no big deal to some, but there were so many outlets in the room! Perfect for charging all our drained devices. Highly recommend this spot and will definitely stay again if we pass thru in the future!! Thank you, South Haven!

It was only $60 for the night. It's located right next to highway 35 so you don't have to travel any extra miles. There's a gas station right next door. Not the best gas station but it does work. The hotel has free coffee in the morning. It was clean the really nice hot shower. The doors are on the first floor so you don't even have to go into the hotel to go to your room it's very convenient. We had our dog with us they didn't even bother us.

Motel 6 - South Haven, is not a typical Motel 6. Very bare bones. No breakfast in the morning, no lobby area for gathering, no pictures on the wall. No shampoo , hairdryer or iron in the room. No amenities. Somewhat disheveled. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. She was the only bright spot in the place. It looked like the portion of the building once used for the breakfast area and lobby was closed off and used for storage. This particular Motel 6 is isolated with only a gas stop nearby. If all you need is a $60 room to sleep. Shower and watch TV this might be ok for you. This hotel is about a 30 minute drive from the well attended Winfield Folk Music Festival in September and is a very affordable place to stay for the festival. Good restaurants in Arkansas City 20 minutes away.

Hotel was right off interstate. Only thing nearby was a small gas station and an area for truckers to park for night. Older hotel. We arrived late, about 11pm. 5 vehicles in parking lot that was not well lit. Our first room had blood on the comforter. Wish I'd taken pictures but didn't think about it at the time. Not small spots, very visible. Rooms look remodeled by IKEA very bare. We requested a new room and they switched us. Floors in both rooms gritty like they hadn't been swept or mopped. The pillows in this room were wadded up in little balls in the cases. Bed looked cleaner. Still a black smudge of something on this comforter. The worst part was that we could hear people having sex really loudly in the hallway and through the walls. We left because we didn't feel comfortable with what kind of motel this was if you catch my drift. And because if a maid could clearly see blood in a comforter and say "eh, good enough" they may not be cleaning any of the rooms after their "guests " . Needless to say we left after 20 minutes and there were only 2 cars there when we did...

We liked the location, close to the interstate and the outside entry of the rooms. Disappointed with having no tissues or coffee in the room. Most of the pillows were worn out. Bed seemed clean. Socks got dirty from walking around room! No breakfast either, and not even a knife to cut a sandwich we bought earlier. Only a gas station close by, no restaurants in the area.

I pulled up in the rain and in the dark and honestly want expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! The inside was much nicer than expected. There is a mini fridge but no microwave. Doors are available to the room from the front and back! Vent in the fan and light in the bathroom haven't been cleaned in forever but that was the least of my worries.

Great service. The gentleman at the front desk has very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and you can't beat the price. Nicest hotel under $100 I've stayed in. Plenty of room for my truck and 32' goose.

Stayed here after picking my step son up from KS. It's a little in the middle of nowhere right off the highway. The clerk was friendly and prompt in checking us in. It's about 20 min from the OK stateline. We had a very clean room with 2 queen size beds. Non smoking and very quiet. You definitely can't find a pizza place they are all 30 minutes away.

This is the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. I remember Motel 6 being great, years ago. I hope other Motel 6's will see this place and toe them line again. There are still Great Motel 6's that exist.

Clean comfortable room, welcome stop at the end of a long drive. Adequate considering the price. Somewhat isolated, don’t expect to find a bite to eat other than snacks at the truck stop next door.

Basic accommodations: beds, sink, toilet, tub, refrigerator, microwave, free WiFi. Hotel staff was great and very accommodating. We were stranded for 2 days but it was safe and warm while outside temperatures were 4°F and below.

It’s a Motel not a Hotel so you get the bare minimum. Bed, tv, bathroom. Fridge no microwave. That is in the lobby by front desk. Bring own toiletries as there is only 2 small bars of soap present. No shampoo/conditioner or anything of that nature. No hair dryer. No ice bucket/cups, coffee maker or coffee. Also did not see an iron/ironing board. No carpet on floors. Paid under $60 for 2 occupants so you do get what you pay for. I actually I paid too much. Tv watching and a quick night’s sleep. Would not recommend an extended stay. Staff very friendly and checkin is a snap though. I imagine this motel is geared more towards truckers who want to get a shower and a few winks before hitting the highway again.

As far as Motel 6's go, this one was clean and in good repair. Located next to truck stop. There was a unusually large amount of insects around the building. I would avoid if allergic to wasps.
