Dined in for lunch on my way through town. Menu looked great! Lots of different stuff to try. I had the Spinach Chicken Quesadilla. It was great for the most part. The flavor was spot on it had some super hard pieces of chicken in it though but just pulled them out and ate around them. The feta and mozzarella was a perfect mix for that perfectly toasted quesadilla! The people were super nice and had that small town Kansas hospitality down pat. There is also a huge hot wheels collection in there that is fun to check out! Looks like a great breakfast spot as well!

Food doesn’t have to be fancy to be delicious. This is one of those diners that just serves high-quality product that you can tell the owner put an effort into. Enjoy just about anything on the menu and make sure you save room for dessert.

We found this hidden gem when out exploring Monday. Well worth the drive from Gardiner. The haystack , orange juice, and cinnamon roll was great. The chef even took the time to come out and talk to us. I do not think the guy who waited on us could work any harder or faster making sure everyone was happy. Thank you for a great experience.

Great find on a recent road trip. For a small town I was pleased with the level of gluten free choices and the awareness of the kitchen staff. The BLT my wife ordered was more like a BBBBLT. More bacon than she has ever had on a sandwich. She loved it.

This is the most exceptional breakfast and lunch restaurant I have visited in all of the Central U.S. the breakfast scramble was so light, fluffy, and perfectly prepared with only fresh vegtables which were still fresh, tender and flavorful when they arrived at the table. I can taste the flavor of each vegetable just like it was picked moments ago. Their biscuits are fresh and light. This is definitively worth a visit. Great food and friendly service. The owner even came by to check on each customer. Good sign they really care about what they are preparing for you.

Food is good, cost is good. I am sad that the noise was to much for us. The machine they use to make frozen drinks could use a noise reducer. It is a Nice small town eatery. You can't always please every body. We'll continue to get take out.

An excellent small town diner. I have eaten a variety of things on both her breakfast and lunch menu and never been disappointed. Her desserts are fantastic and original. She creates a new dessert to choose from every day, along with her staple cinnamon rolls and cookies.

Breakfast all day, and it was excellent! Nice people, too. Cool ambiance with all the hot wheels and vintage toys everywhere. Fresh made excellent rye bread, and the ham was smoky and delicious. The eggs were cooked just right, and the sausage was good. The pancake was buttery and tasty. We will be going back. :)Okay, update - I gave five stars because they were even nicer and personable the second time, and I was introduced to their separate coffee menu! Reasonable prices for badass coffee! Go get some, you won't regret it! Now my wife and I have to come up with excuses to go to Osawatomie! Lol!

Excellent food. A really warm inviting place to eat with delicious menu choices. Healthy selections as well as burgers, wraps etc. Homeade food and desserts. The owner comes out from cooking and visits with the guests to check on their dining experience. Have eaten here several times and tasted different things. Always delicious and satisfying!

Wouldn't recommend the lady that took the order acted like she was hung over and didnt want to deal with her own life let alone someone coming into eat. We ordered the ruben with "homemade mac and cheese" and a chicken fiesta quesadilla i am not sure whay restaraunts cant be honest lol. The chicken fiesta tasted like it had old food in iy and it was cooked in the oven. I really enjoy a rueben that has toasted bread on both sides. Can osawatomie please get a decent restaurant in their town.

We had the breakfast croissandwich...eggs, bacon, tomato, cheese and avocado. We had ours on homemade sourdough. Yummy. Had to take half of it home. Came with fruit cup. The fresh baked chocolate creme pie looked delicious. Taking chocolate chip and a snickerdooodle cookie home. Good coffee, too. Waitress was nice.

I called and asked for a loaf of bread. I picked it up and it was so hard I threw it on the ground and it didn't damage it. I went in to get my money back. A women in the back started yelling that I never called and ordered it. If that's what I needed to do all you had to say was " you have to place an order" and I would have done just that. Instead you sent a paying customer home with a ROCK. Not to mention the rude and disrespectful comments and service. I first ome would rather drive to paola then deal with such nasty people. I would NOT recommend eating here.
