Nice small town grocery with a suprisingly good selection. In and out with what I needed pretty fast. Checkout clerk was nice, maybe a little too talkative. (Prob shouldn't mention how much you hate a particular item a customer is purchasing.)

Great store with amazing selection and friendly staff. Always helpful and has a great customer base that returns to shop. Great location especially if you live in the town of Girard.

They have a pretty large inventory. I don't do grocery shopping there, per se, because their prices are somewhat expensive, except for their meat department. They run pretty good specials and always have lots of Manager's Specials, which they don't advertise. They accept coupons and double coupons up to $0.50. The store is always clean. Handicapped accessible. No public restroom. The staff is always super friendly. When I purchase a few items, they always ask if I need help out. There have been times when I have needed the help. They always found someone to help me very quickly and the person was always super nice to me. If you're okay with paying a few extra dollars for your groceries by shopping at a hometown grocery store, this is the perfect place to go.

Typical small town grocery, has most items you'd need and reasonable prices. There is a meat section that I believe they cut in house and usually have some steaks that are thick cut and on sale. A good assortment of fresh produce and some bakery items plus a lot of small town friendliness make this a really good shopping choice.There is plenty of free parking with handicap spaces available.

I had a bad experience with this store earlier this evening, but was greeted with utmost professionalism from both the assistant manager and the store manager when I addressed my concern. I will be returning to this establishment based on the professionalism and empathy displayed from the staff. If I could give 10 stars I would.-Blake

Store is small and prices are high. Only shop here because I dont want to drive 15 miles to walmart. That being said staff is always very friendly and eager to help. Parking is plentiful and well arranged.

Have gotten two rotten "Springer" chickens since last summer. The meat managers have replaced them both and very apologetic for it, but is inconvenient to have to go back to store when you are ready to cook. The prices are high and produce is awful. Is nice to have a grocery store in town though.

Love G&W in Girard, KS. Spring flower and veggie bedding plants are well cared for. Best pricing as well, $1.29/ 4pk. Extensive non gluten flours, pasta, and other packaged goods are available. A G&W hallmark is the wide variety of fresh, tasty fruits and vegetables. Deli, paper goods, and Kansas products are great. Overall, a pleasant grocery shopping experience with helpful staff.
