Shop here for items I can't get elsewhereMoved back to Garnett a few weeks agoJust stopped to pick up few items I need to complete supper mealLooking at price of one item seemed more than I was used to paying at Walmart (same item)But well only 2 Grocery Stores herewill to accept prices because gasoline prices too high to Go to Walmart.

I'm really disappointed in the store overall. I'm trying not to think negatively about the quality and the prices. But with competitors like Dollar, why shop there for anything other than meat. And it's a short drive to Ottawa to shop at Walmart for the meat itself. Perhaps if they had a meat department, unlike the others in the area, it would be worth the cost.

I've shopped here several times and each time I will say the customer service has been fine and all the staff seem fairly friendly but let me say do not shop here! You can get milk at the gas station cheaper. The groceries are so marked up that I can drive to Walmart in Ottawa to get groceries and spend less. So sad the owner is taking such advantage of this small town.

Need to get fresher produce!I have seen perishables that had already turned. In fact every trip there I see produce on the cusp of turning. The meats, fruit and vegetables are all like a buying food at a second hand food store if there is such a thing. The only reason I go this establishment anymore is out of urgency or to use pharmacy. Otherwise I will drive the extra 20min to go elsewhere.These comments do not apply to the pharmacy. They have their business in order.

Little bit pricey but well with the extra for a hometown Grocery Store. Meat Market was the highlight with tenderized pork chops and breakfast chops!!

This place is clean and well stocked. It is also very expensive as it's the only grocery store in town. If you only need a few things it's ok but if you are stocking up on groceries it's worth the 30 mile Drive to Ottawa. Prices on some things are almost double what they are in other towns. Things that they have advertised in their fliers are the best bargains.

Could not find what I wanted in The store... the deli employee didn't seem like she wanted to wait on us. Yes I did have 3 teenagers with me but still they could have been more friendly

Country Mart is located approximately 22 miles from home and is located in Garnett. I can get 5 dozen eggs at a reasonable price and their meat department has a good selection of products. I usually go to Country Mart for their "5 for $30" pork sales. Conveniently located next door to Auburn Pharmacy.

I love this store. Everyone is very nice, and very helpful. If I can't find something, they will go in the back to make sure they don't have some there. I am proud to call Country Mart, My Store.

Nice staff but super over priced out of 3 places you can get some or most your groceries at in Garnett. They also need to pay more attention to sell by dates on items that dont sell as often.

I love taking My Little Chihuahua long hair she loves it the staff are really nice to her I meanly go there for trades are collars and leashes or harnesses for my dogs are fences for the dogs the back yard so they can't get out

I am from Florida, and I may be spoiled by Publix, but, Country Mart could use a few pointers from them. They could update a bit. The fried chicken is extremely good! The staff is alright. Glad there is a grocery store in Garnett.

This store has recently come under new ownership. The prices have gone up considerably, and service no longer exsists. It's sad really, this little grocery store is literally falling apart. Molding ceiling tiles, failing freezers and they have cut back on choices . I had hoped that the new owners would make improvements. They have not, it used to be a store the community could depend on and trust. Now it's take it or leave it. Sad.

Country Mart sucks since it changed hands. Price on peanut butter went up three dollars. Like that all over store. Took away a lot of perks for customers. On social security can't afford the prices. Will have to go out of town to get bulk of groceries.

They got some stuff for you the deli is good, meat section is good, go thru and take a gander, see what u need and want (they let you sample some food items also ).p. s. No u can't go thru and randomly open up stuff and start eating )

Not a big loss but when special yellow notice states an item is on sale for $1.79 and you ck receipt and find you paid $2.05.Also you mainly went for t-bones advertised as on sale and none in meat case. And at shortly after 3pm, no one in meat department.No help in store, no carry out, even if you are elderly and use a walker.

Might have been a bad day to go in but found a very unfriendly checker. Now when I go in I make sure another checker is on duty. Try to make the trip to Ottowa or Iola. Grocerys are high everywhere but small town store prices need to be watched closely. Pop

Too bad this is the only grocery store we have. I am all for shopping local but come on. The store is dirty, there are empty shelves and only 2 -3 employees in the store. New owners need to be more mindful of this and do something. They are forcing people out of town.
