Not friendly for a small town in Kansas, I ordered from the DQ app while I was there and it took 30 min.s to get our food, she said they didn't know I was there but she did know I was there no help from her. Then the girl seemed irritated with me when she messed up my cone and had to make a new one. After I already spent $40 on food horrible service and they are rude even though I didn't complain there I did here for the review the manager guy looks like he is pre occupied and doesn't care he just put coupons in my bag for a free ice cream. Poor service all around especially the girl in the lobby doesn't want to work gets irritated with customers along with all of the other employees that work there.Parking: Needs updated very old and needs work pot holes everywhere and tiny drive through with workers that don't want to take your order.

Went through the drive thru at 9:25p.m. and wanted ice cream, was told no ice cream only cooked food.Drove to a different location, got there around 9:45p.m. and was allowed to order ice cream.When you leave teenagers in charge of your location, customers get turned away. Joplin location was more than happy to serve us ice cream.

We love this DQ for the regular "manager's special". Always changing, always a good idea. Recently redone interior steps the place up a notch. Of the 7 people with us, only one had a minor issue with their order that was quickly remedied. Drop in and grab a Blizzard, smoothie, or quick bite and enjoy!

The food and ice cream are great here. Staff is pretty decent here. It's always super packed here every time we are there for some reason. There could be 1 person here when we show up and the 5 minutes later there are 30. Always takes forever to get the food. But it seems they are doing the best they can here to keep up.

I came in on a school trip and we only had 26 people and everyone was super irritated at us. they took our orders but then got upset that we were ordering ice cream and they were huffing and yelling our order numbers super loud and didn’t seem to care about anything. they were complaining about only 4 of them being here but like I work at Walmart where I get cussed out bc we were out of your 2% low-fat no cal vanilla yogurt and we just gave you the normal one. like this is your job and im giving you money. grow up. all of them were adults and had no need to be that rude.

Friendly staff and good food. Was frustrated the location didn't support mobile ordering or the rewards. I had a trailer load and wanted to order on the app since I couldn't go round the drive through. Ended up ordering and eating inside, which ended up being nice since the staff was very apologetic for not being a mobile store or doing the rewards.

It's really upsetting to pay your prices and still not be able to get a correct order. How difficult is it to include the gravy that comes with the chicken strip meals? Now I have upset children because you can't do your job correctly.

Girl behind the counter was to busy visiting with a friend to take my order after 5 minutes she took the order 25 minutes later had to go to the counter food was sitting under heat lamp for who knows how long. Another 20 minutes go by before ice cream was prepared. Food lousy service terrible and no supervision for teens who clearly had no idea what they are doing

Short staffed. Waited 45 minutes for an order ended up asking for a refund because our food had sat there for about 30 and they still hadn't gotten around to making the ice cream. Not necessarily the employees that were at fault as they were short staffed but owner-manager needs to address these issues. It's a shame that it isn't still ran by the Rataczak's. I know Arnold would certainly be disappointed in how the place has changed if he was still around.

We went through the drive-thru and we were the only car in line and in the parking lot our food took forever some of it was overcooked and tough to eat. We weren't too happy with this visit but everyone has their off days. So I'm willing to try them againFeatures: Employees were wearing masks

Food was hot staff was good went through as school let out and kids just walked through the vehicles in the drive thru it's a bit hazardous you do have to be paying attention or you could very easily hit them. Maybe a fence might help I don't know but, thank you. Please fiv the pot holes in your parking lot

Food was good. Quickly delivered though I ordered after 8:00. Several tables had not been wiped down though only two actively working in the service area. Three sitting in dining area, may have been off the clock. Floor dirty, soda machines for public use not working. Still repairing interior after car went through wall. Positive attitude from worker at the counter.

I will never buy a salad from Dairy Queen again. The bowl was less than half full with 3 dry grilled nuggets that look nothing like the picture. For charging over $6.00 for that salad they are ripping people off. If you want a great inexpensive salad that also comes with a cup of cottage cheese for the same price go to Braums.

Never been more disappointed about a hamburger than I was. At first I thought it was a veggie burger but since I have never had a veggie burger I couldn't say for sure. Finally I decided that the best way to describe what was served would be year old frost bitten Patty's left over from pandemic. Not only was burger a crime but it seemed as if whoever put order together couldn't count. We ordered a 6 piece strip basket and only got 4. Maybe the help was hungry and thought wouldn't notice if hid chicken under the toast.

It depends really on whom they have working. They do hire teens from the highschool which is great but I believe more or better training could be used for all employees, for various reasons, and not just the teens. Overall, I do love Dairy Queen as a whole. I hope to give this one a better rating in the future.

This place was so dirty inside and the ladies bathroom was disgusting their parking lot looks like it never gets clean. Also the cashier made two blizzards for me and the chic literally throw trash across the room while there was customers inside she then said she didn't care to me that's very poor attitude. Will not be going back to this place while visiting family.

It was 100 degrees, national ice cream day and a car show going on in the parking lot next door. The restraunt was clean and the people working were still pleasant and helpful even under extreme service demands. Quick quality service and food. Keep up the good work Galena!

They did mess our order up the first time, but they were amazing about getting it resolved & the second time the food was hot & fresh. The staff was friendly & they know how to make sure their customers are happy! I will eat here again & again simply because of the awesome service my family got!
