Excellent from start to finish. You do need to weigh empty and loaded now when picking up. Very well marked but left scale bay for dry van. If you had problems here it was you not them.

First of all, there’s a lot of space to maneuver. Few trucks at a time can get into the docks👍🏻 first you have to park on the side, go to shipping and receiving office. Nice people working at the office will tell you which dock. Loading took them about 30min which is very good, if every place would load as fast as them this job would be a lot easier. I highly recommend this place 👏🏻

Thanks to the other drivers for posting heads ups! It helped a lot. My experience follows: Arrived around midnight and parked on the side in front of shipping for the night w/o incident. At 6:30am I walked into shipping to ask if I should get in scale line now and they said it would be a good idea, so I did. At 7am I pulled up onto the scale, set the brake, and took my paperwork up the iron staircase to the scale office on the left side of the trailer. I checked in, and the man came out with me, broke the seal on the scale, climbed in and took samples from the last 2 bags. He climbed down, then gave me 2 copies of paperwork, a stamped one for receiving and another, signed, for me and told me to pull around back to the receiving door half way down the building (it's next to the recessed docks near the blue compactor). It says receiving above it, so it's not the first man door you see as you turn the corner. I repeat, NOT the first one, it's in the recessed area. I parked, walked in, the man there took my paperwork and told me to stage in front of the doors right here (11&12) and they would come tell me when to back in. About 5 or 10 minutes passed and they came, telling me back into door 11 but that it would be a little while. So I'm backed in with a red light, locked to dock 11, waiting. What the other drivers said is true about no public restroom, so parking here overnight is entirely up to you. The little truck stop on 160 in Pittsburg is about a 15 minute drive away (or the casino just north of it on the other side of 160 where I saw trucks and campers parked on the north side of the parking lot). It appears to be true that you want to be here first thing at 7am to scale in, at least if you're delivering turkey meal. There's no light system, so at 7am pull onto the scale and go up the stairs with your BOL in hand to check in. 8:01am and they've started unloading me (on scale at 7am, 10:15am appt), so it seems to be that if you're in the ballpark on your delivery time it's pretty much FCFS. The scale master told me a guy came in Wednesday but had a Friday appointment time and they were forced to turn him away, so keep in mind the nearby casino and truckstop on the south/west side of Pittsburg as they may come in very handy. Good place to load, the shipping docks and office are on the south side of the building. If you are picking up you don't have to weigh on the way in. They have a staging area where you can park if your early, or need a break after loading. In and out in an hour 👍

Everybody there seemed to be very pleasant. I was in and out in less than an hour. Large parking lot made it very easy to turn around and get position for loading. Even had a staging area where they would let you take a break.

We deliver to other plants every week, never an issue. Frontenac, this will be our 1 and only time. Stay away! The appointment times they set mean nothing. Truckers are not a valued commodity here. Do not give them the time of day, your wasting your time.After reading all the other dated comments, this is obviously a chronic problem.

The people who work there are great people but managament has them so loaded up on work which they can't possible do in the time alotted. I delivered there and experienced this first hand. I was there 4 and a half hours to unload which I was the only truck there. I won't experience this again. Plan alot of time to delivery or.pick up. The scale time can be 4 hours plus to again entry.

Plenty of overnight parking available. Young lady working the night shift scale house is nice, Decent chance of getting unloaded early.Portable toilet available outside. Place is a dust bowl, so keep your windows up and bring provisions cause there's nothing nearby that can fit a truck unless you drive down to Pittsburg.

Great place. A whole lot better than it used to be. Check in was fast. I was given a door around back. Had to wait about 15mn for it to open up. After docking I was loaded in about 3omn. All in all not to bad.

FYI to all: Finished product loads do NOT t need to scale in; go direct to shipping dept!! Shipping is on left and receiving (sign on corner of bldg) to right for inbound raw materials (that do need to scale)I arrived to deliver for a 6am unload appointment. I was told that I had to scale in (big sign- all in bound loads must scale) scale doesn't open until 7am and then it's first come first serve (??) and is part of the receiving department. So I wait, scale and go to check in...Receiving asks what I have. Then he apologizes because my load is finished product which goes to shipping. I didn't need to scale. A little communication at this place would help. Plus change the signs !!!Unloading was fast and no issue once we got past the scale bs. My reload was here too and and I was loaded before that appointment time.

Arrived at 1610 hours for a 1700 hours appointment. I was loaded, off the dock, and sealed before my appointment time. This has been a great experience including the friendly staff.

If your a van with palletized products delivering you have to wait in a long line of grain trucks to scale, take samples, to get unloaded..over 2 hrs to check in, half hour unload time. ridiculous.

I had a great experience here. Got there at 1:40 am appointment was for 3pm later that day. The night crew worked me in and got me out at 5 am. Can't complian about that.

My husband hauls loads for them, evryone seems to be really nice ,and there crew is pretty fast witch is a plus . The only thing i don't like is the dirt parking lot ,it makes all the pretty trucks dirty and the insides if your not careful . But other then that its all good 👍

Its now 11:39 am Monday morning. I arrived here greeted by a Dusty for whom I gave my p.o. Number at 15:34 yesterday, Sunday. I was told by two employees that they had salmonella outbreak and were shutdown due to clean up of said spicy intoxants that aren't good for Fido's consumption. They're now wanting me to take my load of meat meal in hopper over 100 miles to Anderson Missouri to unload due to them not having room in there bins because of them being full due to not using product in productions due to regulatory clean up. Was told 160,000 grand or product was lost in production cost and 550,000 grand in retail price. Was told it took 18 hours to make that product and that its not a huge loss for them in a financial sense. I'm just one guy with one truck with one load of meal that's now costing me money. Mistakes happen we all make them. Scott Allen Berke. Its been a communications nightmare with these folks at ainsworth pet care facilities.

Keep remember one thingIf you have finished product you don't have wait in line for scale just go to shipping office with your paperwork and they will give you door one of then in shipping

If your following Google maps then you'll be OK it routes you great, however a store bought GPS will take you on the adventure route, upon arrival shipping is on the right side (AM sun facing side), must scale in as well, there is no parking nearby best bet is to park at one of the truck stops off I-44 exit 4, then leave about 06:30 arrival is about 07:40.

Staff are okay, but communication is terrible here. Way past my appointment time to unload my bulk load of beans. Be prepared to wait, going on 4 and counting worth of waiting time.
