Today, my dog Nala Belle had her appointment at Salt Creek. She has been seen as a tiny pup at this vet as well as my senior kitty and our previous experience was great. But today, none of that matters due to the horrible experience we had today. My female Great Dane mix had a terrible experience with a different Veterinary Clinic about a month ago during her spay. This has caused to her to have major distrust for Vets.Being very much aware of this I asked for assistance getting her in and out safely. I called to tell them I needed assistance immediately after I made the appt (about a week or so ago) and again when we arrived early. Despite arriving early and requesting help, we were told to wait in the car until closer to our appointment (understandable they had other patients) yet never recieved assistance when it was her appointment time, not so much as just holding the door open so we could carry her 70-75lb tush in or out, which would have been extremely helpful.Nala Belle was extremely scared and acted out inside the clinic, barking and shaking uncontrollably. I dont excuse this behavior, but I understand why. A vet tech (or receptionist I'm unsure of her position) continuously gave us dirty looks while walking around with her clipboard and asked us to muzzle her. Not sure of her position whether a tech or a receptionist as she didnt render help/services throughout the visit. The dark haired Vet Tech was kind and allowed me to be the one to muzzle her. When I mentioned that Nala was scared, the response was dismissive, as if she's just a monstrous animal. Throughout the visit, the vet tech or receptionist (with the clipboard) continued to give us dirty looks. It was bizarre and absolutely uncalled for.I left my previous vet due to price increases, but today's experience was completely different from my previous positive experiences. To make matters worse, they labeled Nala as aggressive on her chart, despite her not posing any actual threat/danger, she was just loud and obnoxious. I called to address this issue and ensure assistance was noted prior to the visit, they confirmed that it was in fact noted, but I felt unheard and didnt recieve assistance. The lack of compassion and understanding, coupled with the stress of calming my scared dog, left me feeling disrespected and emotional, honestly I wanted to cry in my car. Not to mention my heart beating out of my chest.I asked for assistance prior to the appointment, not just because my dog has distrust because of a bad experience, but I am also a heart patient. Raising my heart rate could spin me into a potential medical emergency. When I called to explain why I required assistance I was met with, "it was not noted you had a heart condition". Is that the standard for requesting assistance? A detailed medical history of the owner? I did not know I was required to disclose my personal health history in order to recieve even the tiniest level of assistance, that I clearly asked for multiple times and was ignored. I have decided to return to my previous vet, where I and my animals have never experienced this level of disrespect. And for that level of service, I'd pay 8x the costs. This whole experience was nothing short of horrendous.I'm simply doing my very best to make sure my Fur babies get the care and treatment they deserve/need and at the very least I deserve even a microscopic amount of compassion and understanding. I couldn't calm my dog because of her level of fear, but humans can, and kindness and compassion are always free.

Our Chinese Crested was injured while we were at Toronto Lake. This team did an amazing job. They were caring, understanding, answered all questions in everyday language. It's very obvious that they know what they are doing and that they care for their patients and the owners. Highly recommend this business and their knowledgeable caring staff.Thank you for what you do!!!!

What an amazing group of professionals. We have had the pleasure of having Dr. Seth Fox and Dr. Brandi Tharp-Houdashelt caring for our cats. All of our cats respond well to them and they are more than patient with the humans as well. The rest of the staff are also wonderful. They are very courteous on the phone and in person. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been going to our veterinary clinic since Summoner I am very sad after Dr Fox retired and now I'm told Allison retired I cannot imagine our Allison not being there and now we got Brandy and all the new ones and Mr Seth took after it and we're going to hate the day he's going to tell us that he's going to retire but I have to think all the staff through all the years for taking care of my little family and all my little loved ones I've had all these years I can't think you people enough you're always there for me you always trust me you're just part of my family too we love you all and we probably ain't got much longer to live things aren't going good but I'll praise you everyday you take care of my babies and I thank you all have a wonderful evening and a better day tomorrow keep on smiling thank you all very much Richard Gardner

These people here are wonderful they got up in the middle of the night to tend to my dog who ended up with a 4-in cut on her leg no hesitation call me over and got her healed up

After hours last night I had to take my puppy and Dr. Fox is by the best vet I’ve ever went to. My animals were taken care of and he explained everything very well. Not many vets like coming in after hours, and I was nervous to. But he was still super friendly and understanding even late at night.

We had a good experience with hoof trimming and vaccinations for my miniature cattle. Dr. Seth treated them well and worked with them despite a few challenges due to them being much smaller than standard cattle. I needed somewhere that could tip them, as they don't stand to be trimmed. The unloading and loading process worked well through their apparatus, and my pets came home without giving us any flack for a vet trip - I call that a success 🙌
