As a dedicated customer,one who truly appreciatesfine food & good folk,the Staff at G&W are more like family.I have known Brian, the manager, for 20 years.No one there is a stranger..I find dependable quality in all departments.The deli has a variety of cuisine worthy of restaurant status, the Butchers select and package every morn for the choicest of cuts,the produce is first off the truck, farm fresh.Every aisle contains bargain products.The ads have great values, I find some of myfav foods that no competitor carries, and merchandise is always plentiful in stock.Shop and support area retail.Allow your hard earned dollars to remainwithin the local economy.And eat well..!!These are some of the dishesI have prepared…PTL..JIMM…

Can get a bit pricey, but you will like the store/people/and what you going in to get. It a good store, and they are all over parts of ks. And other states. P. S. I do like some of their stores more than the others.

Prices are super high, but not only that, when you checkout is the kicker. You take your overpriced food and add the 20 percent tax they impose there. 10 percent food tax, and a 10 percent greed tax the store made up. The manager brian is always so drunk his head looks like a beat, and he openly verbally abuses his staff.

Mid size grocery store. I found it to be rather cramped . The bakery dept was very nice as was the meat dept. I felt the produce was lacking, prices were high, selection was poor and it all looked pretty shop worn.All and all that found the prices to be high and the store to have an awkward layout, roducts were less than fresh and the store had general messy and unkempt lookSorrysize

This should be a national landmark!Me and my step brother got lost had to travel to find our house and then we see the store and. The day before we went here to get some snacks. So if we never went here the day before we would have never found home. Thank you G & W Foods

I can always find a good cut of meat for a reasonable price. Love the availability of Best Choice options. Today's trip mostly consisted of fresh vegetables that were in good condition. Didn't have to sort through old produce. For the most part I'm able to find everything I need without having to go anywhere else.

Last time I went, all the fruit was really old looking. I had to eat the Lemons I bought in a couple days before they got too soft. Other than that, prices are good and everything else looked fine. The reason I gave 3 instead of 4 stars is the lack of Vegan food options. I have looked and as far as I have found, they don't carry Vegan mayonnaise or butter like Walmart does.

This place is shady. Like most locally owned grocery stores it's dimly lit, stocked with over priced merchandise but where G & W excels at being shady is it's marketing ploy "we keep prices cheaper by adding another 10% fee". I think upfront pricing is important when shopping for groceries. Having to pay 10% tax, then 10% store tax, subjectively sounds disgusting. Otherwise, decent selection of things, meat options have improved, and they carry Best Choice.

I don't like the 10% surcharge. The gas pumps charge your card 70 bucks and takes forever to go back to your account too.Most of the day cashier's are very nice, but if you go in late there's a few rude ones. Not many options.But their cake guy is on point!!! I'm a faithful person to him!! Hes excellent at cakes and being creative!

If they buy at cost, how can there be sales? 10% county tax and then 10% for their end, 20% added to bill at checkout, how's that saving? Employees are verbally abusive to other employees with minimal repercussions. Your friendly neighborhood store, huh.

Staff (except for the very few) are always absolutely amazing, prices are great, but I am seriously baffled by the fact that you can not roll quarters or pay for dinner with quarters or even sell your quarters to this store when you need to buy your babies dinner and that's all you have. The management has this rule and to top it off they have no change machine to try and get it changed for a fee. Thank God that I have a vehicle so I could go somewhere else what if I wasn't so lucky and I had to walk to another grocery store because you can't let your babies starve... How sad wow

I love this store! The staff is friendly, meats good, produce is fresh. The lady who works in produce goes above and beyond to help and is always smiling! Love the free fruit for kids too!!

I always go and order their fried chicken from iga's deli. It is to die for. They fry it up fresh when you place your order. My family and I order the chicken at least 1-2 times a week. A definite must try if you have not ate their chicken yet.

Love this hometown grocery store much prefer spending my money there than the other big corporate "mart" in town. Which is the only other option for groceries in my small little town. My one and only gripe is I have a hard time finding things, lol, but I am sure that is no fault of the store just my faulty memory.

Cute local grocery store that has a good variety of everyday items with descent prices The small deli packs plenty of really tasty items at good prices. The 8 piece chicken .... better than you know where .... The Catfish is fried just right as is the chicken .. pizza looks good and still plan to try it soon. You can also gas up while your here too.

They often have some good deals in here. I don't always like their staff, especially the evening staff. But I go here because it's close to me and the prices on several items are reasonable.

Love g&w foods in general however sackers should KNOW how important it is not to place cleaning supplies with food products of any sort they should be separated accordingly stressing the fact they wouldn't do it at home don't do it to other customers

We like shopping at G&W, the prices are very competitive and the selection is adequate for our needs. We usually shop the perimeter of the store so produce, dairy, and meat are our favorites. Sometimes produce is too old so they need better turnover.

Great local store as a trucker they always welcome and have a good selection even having cuts done in house for meat and local produce!
