This was a small restaurant off the side of the highway (nothing fancy) but we heard it was good! And it was! I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and curly fries. Very yummy. Fresh salad bar too. My family said their food was very good too. (Breakfast served all day) Everthing was fresh and served the way we ordered. Waitress was excellent and prices were worth the good food quality.Parking: Lots of parking around the building.Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant and kids menu.

I thought maybe I can stop in to get a quick bite. But the waitress in the back is playing with her phone. And the older lady seem like she didn't want to wait on me. I definitely will not be back.There was a nice gentleman with glasses trying to get the waitress attention but I would feel if she really wanted my service she would have already saw me what she did, and assist me.That's okay, I will definitely will not be back!

Been passing this place by for 7 years. I regret that. Awesome food. Like a lot of places these days a little understaffed. However waitress/cashier did an excellent job of taking care of everyone. I won't pass by again if it fits my schedule. I might even make my schedule fit stopping here.

Place was empty when we arrived, should have been a hint to us. Waitress didn't even know what Diet Pop they had. We didn't get silverware until we asked. Salad bar is a joke. We both ordered Chicken Fried Steak. Mashed Potatoes were cold, and you could tell they are from a box. Gravy was bad!! I ate maybe 5 bites of meat, and didnt touch anything else!! Got up to pay and waitress couldnt even use the CC machine. Will definitely never go back. I suggest you just pass it up!!

We're truckers...driven past several times running loads. This time we knew we'd have time to stop on our return. Google told us they were closed Monday and I was disappointed so I called to verify. They are currently open Mondays until 2, I believe. Short staffed, as is common now, but waitress was sweet. Probably spelling wrong, but Cacia was her name. We liked it here...not fake kitschy decorated and basic, stick to your ribs food at moderate price. Nice, hometown atmosphere. I got steak and eggs with hashbrowns and biscuit with gravy. Steak was so tender and well flavored. I couldn't finish all mine so we got a box and had the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns heated up in the truck for breakfast the next day. We will be back.

Under new management. I can never get this restaurant to answer their phone. And when I do call and they finally do answer their phone, they hang up on me I know that they have their hours posted here on Google, but that is not always the not always the times they are open. We never know when they are open. I think if they are not busy maybe they close early? That's bad for business in my opinion. We live out of town so we always get to go orders. But if they can't answer the phone we can't order and support this restaurant. I will leave a better review when when I do get to eat at this restaurant. It's too bad, because this community really does need this restaurant

Service was excellent, however I ordered the BBQ pork special that was awful. It seemed as though it was warmed in the microwave with hot spots and cold spots. The pork was dry/old and the sauce was just bland. I have had other food there which has been excellent, just stay away from the specials as they'll make you especially sick as it did me.

Stopped for a to go Order on our way through town. Even though it was the middle of the afternoon and they probably had to turn on the grill for us, the service was friendly and prompt. Good burgers, everything we requested on our order - definitely would stop in again.

They have great food it's a friendly place to eat, prices are reasonable. It was very clean and not over crowded. We will be going back might even make it a Sunday breakfast place. We really enjoyed our meal and the price.

Stopped in for lunch. Boyfriend had the chicken fried steak special. I had a bacon breakfast burrito with side of country gravy. Service was great and the food delicious. Will be going back

Prices were mostly under $10. Menu contained things like my choice chicken fried steak $9.50. plenty of food. My only negative was mashed potatoes were stiff and lumpy. But it was a decent meal.

Poor management need to update information says closes at 10pm. When they close at 8pm. Stop in Bucklin or wait till Dodge City. Update as of May 2022 they open when they want and close when they want. You are better off going to bucklin or Dodge City for a dinner night. Place is worthless never know when they are open. There sign says open and there closed. Spend your money somewhere else. Better off letting this place close since they are 70% closed all the time.

Breakfast steak and eggs was good. Steak was cooked exactly like I wanted, a little gristle present but not too much.
