It was our first time visiting the resort, and I found it to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort was relatively empty and quiet, likely due to it being the off-season. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, providing a comfortable stay. The restaurant, which I believe is called The Cove, offered excellent food, drinks, and service. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the view of the lake and sunset was breathtaking. I was able to take some beautiful pictures. Unfortunately, the weather was cold, preventing us from enjoying the pool or the lake, as the water was too cold. Despite this, we had a wonderful time and plan to return in the future.

We only visited to go to The Cove it's a cute little grill and bar! The atmosphere was very laid back we went around 2pm so it wasn't very busy. The food was amazing. Had a great view of the lake. The server Sarah R is amazing. She handled all 7 tables inside and out as well as the bar by herself. She has a great flow and an even better manner about her. This place is definitely worth a visit!!!!

My husband and I spent a year living here full time in our travel trailer. We cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the park location couldn’t be better situated right on the lake. The layout, resort amenities, and upkeep/general maintenance are top notch! We liked it so much we ended up hosting our wedding in one of the lakeside cabins. I’m certain this is one of the best RV resorts in the country. Acorns Resort and RV Park truly is a gem!💎

Two friends and I had a craft weekend and it was a wonderful time away! We stayed in Cabin 10 and had a huge table for our projects. VERY clean which is important to us. The cabin is very spacious and had everything we needed and more. We said several times that it could not have been more perfect. We also want to bring our families back with extended family and stay, it would be a great size. I have personally stayed there five times, in different cabins with my husband and kids.We also all loved The Cove! The food is delicious, staff is friendly and attentive, and the table in front of the fireplace was so cozy.We can’t wait to return again to Acorn!Food & drinks: The Cove was delicious!

My family and myself were very pleased with our stay at Acorns Resort! The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable! The price is nice as well! I highly recommend to anyone going to Milford Lake for a getaway, definitely check out the cabins at Acorn Resort! 5 stars all the way!Rooms: The rooms at the cabin we stayed in, were excellent 👌. Very clean, cozy and comfortable! Acorns Resort.Nearby activities: Milford Lake offers a lot of activities! Fishing, sightseeing and trails are just a few of the activities Milford Lake has to offer. The Cove restaurant at Acorns Resort is excellent! Great food and service!

Dont have cabin 15 smelling like a septic tank. Then tell us it is normal and to run hot water for 20 minutes when the hot water tank doesnt work in the cabin. All while the office lady could care less, no apology or remorse. Then our new cabin has a foul smell coming from the hot water. Maintenance and staff at the grill were great but the experience and interaction with the office was piss poor.

My only complaint and my four stars is due to the lack of electricity Hookups out of the cabin. I tought they all had 30amps or a 50amps outlets to plug any camper or RV. I had to use the wall outlet to plugin my car and everybody knows it takes forever to charge that way. But so far I survive with it. The place was quiet and confy . I recommend it.

I live about 13 miles from Acorns and every year I get a cabin, not to mention I got married here back in 2014. It’s definitely a hidden gem to where you’re away from town, but close enough to drive to it if needed. The staff especially Trey, are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Acorns for a getaway or any occasion. There are many activities to do during the summer especially!

We were a large, scattered group coming together for a biannual family reunion. Accorns was a lovely place for us to meet and enjoy reconnecting for a couple days. We stayed in numerous cabins and a couple Lodge rooms. The night accommodation were good and clean. The cabins have nice kitchen and livingroom areas. The gals in the office were very kind and helpful. A small group of us came up to look over the accommodations in the spring. These gals did a superb job of showing us around and giving us usable information. We rented the conference center for two half days and one full day. This worked very well for our group. We had plenty of room to enjoy our inside activities and and eat our meals. There is a lovely, cozy deck on the backside of the conference center with comfy chairs to relax in the shade. We used the large patio area for our outside activities. This worked perfectly. The sunsets from there were lovely. The meals catered over from The Cove were good and super convenient. Susy was our event coordinator and she did an absolutely superb job. Already during the planning stages, she kindly and patiently helped us with our many questions. She offered helpful and usable information and solutions. While we were guests at Acorns, she was an absolute jewel to work with! Thank you, Susie!! And thank you to the whole staff! Our 2023 family reunion was a beautiful and memorable experience.

Cabin was very clean as always! We stayed 13 days and fished a lot, also met several nice people. We had dinner at the Cove bar and grill several times during our stay, the food was great as always, and we took advantage of the daily specials when we could. The staff at the office/store were always friendly and very helpful, as were the employees at the Cove! Fishing was great off the boat slips when it was too windy to use the boat, plenty of nice crappie were caught, and the fish cleaning station was quite handy! The sunsets were stunning off the patio…

Just want to thank Suzy and her staff. Stayed in the cabins and held my daughters Wedding at the conference center and the Meadows . Everything was lovely and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. Suzy was so helpful and making our Daughters big day perfect. Definitely worth it to see my baby smile. Suzy I can not thank you and your staff more than enough. Don't plan on taking a day trip and bringing your own kayak it's not welcome here. We just got told that we can't put our own in that it's closed to the public we could rent theirs but not put ours in the water and when we asked the other man at the shop there about it he just put his hands up and said well are you guys guests here? And I said we just wanted to take a day trip and fish with our kayaks and they said no it's closed to the public. Definitely won't go back here what a waste of over an hour's drive. It would have been nice to be informed that there were other options but we were told that since we are not staying there that we could not put our kayaks in the water because the lake was for paid guests only. Not trying to be rude just don't want people to go here and expect to get good friendly customer service and drive here for nothing like we did. we ended up at Geary Lake and had a great time.

Do not use! Besides being overpriced, if you reserve a boat, they tell you to arrive before they open and then charge that time from your reservation. They also charge you up to 50% more for gas than at the pumps. If you want to rent a boat, go anywhere else. Food was also poor with rude staff and burnt appetizers. This whole location is a joke.

We love it here!!! The walking trails go beside all the different lodging options so from any lodging you can just hop on the trail. Very pet friendly, just clean up after your pet, please! Quiet, comfortable, and loved the accommodations! Beds could probably be better but, overall, we had a great stay and would definitely like to return! We stayed in a 6 person cabin.Nearby activities: State Park nearby, water sports during summer season, trailsNoteworthy details: The walking trail came right beside the cabin so we could just walk the path right from the cabin. Store on site is convenient, dinner restaurant on site, and the resort is super pet-friendly!
