I have known the Mills family for years and they are a family of integrity. Sara Dawson is an honest, hardworking, creative, talented artist who has her heart in her work. This is seen in the quality and craftsmanship in all of the products. I highly recommend Prairie Oaks Designs. If you are passing through the area or looking for a day trip, do not hesitate to visit this quaint charming store, but pease be aware the store has been closed to the public due to Covid-19 and may be closed for a time. This too shall pass so when all this is over, visit this store. It is well worth your time. In the meantime, you can shop online.

This is the absolutely most darling little shop on the prairie! So incredibly well curated by artisan Sarah who creates amazing metal artwork onsite. This gem of a store also hosts Poppy River Studio clothing, which is beyond beautiful and completely affordable! Not more than 45 minutes from Wichita and right on the way from Wichita to Manhattan this store is the ultimate day trip or quick stop.
