They took great care of our beloved boy who got cancer and he passed in February. This had been our vet since moving nearby in 2020. Always great service, great prices and they were amazing with our boy. Now we have brought in our new puppy and they were just as great with him. Looking forward to a long relationship with them with our new puppy.

Eudora Animal Hospital is so good about getting us in to see the vet. They have been taking great care of our fur babies since 2008. We love Dr. Kelso. The vet techs and receptionists are so good with our animals. So glad we have this practice in our town.

We absolutely love coming here! We have 4 fur babies and we get all their exams and vaccinations done here. The staff is always incredibly friendly and you can tell they all love their jobs! Even if you get to the location early, they will have you in and out in no time! We have never had to wait longer then the scheduled appointment time and are usually out before the scheduled time (we always arrive early). If you need to make a list minute appointment, they do whatever they can to get you in! While it can be pricey, we know our animals are getting the proper vaccinations needed and are being handled with care from everyone here!

We think this place is not a good place to take cats. We have taken our cat there for a couple years now and have recently (our last four visits for check-ups in 2023) had some concerns we wanted to talk about with them and they just kind of brushed it off saying there was nothing to worry about. They did not engage directly in conversation or seem to have any interest in explaining things or putting us at ease about our concerns. After our last visit there about 2 months ago we decided we were going to get another opinion and took him to another reputable vet recommended to us. We found out that he had not been given one of the most widely suggested and primarily necessary shots/vaccines for an indoor/outdoor cat (which Eudora knew he is). Also they found some dental issues resulting in two of his teeth being pulled today. Our fluff is now sulking around the house in pain missing two teeth and it could have been avoided if Eudora had been doing actual decent wellness checks. ONE visit at this new vet and they noticed in about 60 seconds of looking at him that his gums seemed like there may be some issues and recommended some further inspection. All that aside, just more friendly and hospitable where we are going now. Eudora is priced right they were always much cheaper but we would rather pay more for better service. This place may be great for other animals but in our experience not good for cats. In hindsight we realize they just didn’t seem to know much about them.

Long-time vet for our cats and now, for a new dog. Doctors are personable and knowledgeable and the support staff is efficient and friendly. Because it’s a larger practice, getting an appointment is pretty easy, too. Big K-State vibe which is exactly what you want in a vet practice-one of the best in the nation.

**PLEASE READ!!!!!**Family took all our dogs here for close to 2 decades, and had no complaints. My pup had a lump on her shoulder which Dr. Schreiner took a biopsy of and determined it was cancerous after looking at it under a microscope in the back - cool, lets schedule a surgery and get it fixed. Nearly $1k later after the surgery, I'm told it was a non-cancerous growth - did it really need removing?They also ended their supplier partnership with chewy where I was getting my dogs meds for around $12-15/mo and I was forced into using their new supplier where I'm paying almost $40/mo for my dogs medicine now.Save the headache and drive to either Lawrence or the KC metro for a different vet. Love the vet techs and staff up front, hence the 2 stars and not 1.

This is the best veterinarian in the area. We drive 30 minutes out of our way to have all 5 of our dogs seen there. They are compassionate animal lovers and have always been able to squeeze an emergency visit in. Pricing is more than fair, and they don't push products on us.

Was so grateful that they got Bodee in right away. He was suffering from a hotspot, and so uncomfortable. They were great with him! I appreciate it so much. He was anxious, and scared. I just wanted to Thank Everyone for the time and attention you gave my kittens today. I came on the wrong day and asked to speak to the vet before surgery. My Thanks to everyone for accommodating my request and taking such great care of them. I will definitely recommend you to friends and family. I used to go to Spring Hill because I loved the farm vet feel. Things changed after Dr. Steve retired so I have been searching for a new Vet. I came as a new patient with my two dogs. The vet spent let than 15 minutes combined and I left with a $300 bill and no answers. I had several questions regarding one and how the side of his ribs were enlarged. It was brushed off as his anatomy and arthritis. I knew in my gut I should have pushed but he was the Vet. Had he actually done an xray like I wanted they would have seen the mass on my dogs spleen. Fast forward months I rushed him to the ER asking about his side that I asked this vet and was immediately told it’s swelling and checked him and it had ruptured. They need to spend a little more time with these pets.

I left Eudora animal hospital crying harder than I think I've ever cried in my life. I will never come back to this clinic and I will never recommend it to anyone.On April 20th, 2024 I brought my 14 year old dog in for an appointment to simply have her ears checked. She had some vestibular issues and was suffering with a tilt that caused her to be off balance.When I arrived for my appointment it was packed. It took maybe 20-30 minutes until we saw a doctor. The staff was rushing around obviously overbooked and stressed. I should have just left but I didn't.Once we got a room and the doctor and assistant came in things just went bad.The assistant was so forceful with my dog for no reason. She pushed her onto the table so hard that her legs went out to the side. My dog was breathing very heavily and was scared the second that the lady grabbed her. I was scared for my dog and I was shaking with anxiety. I should have just grabbed her and left but I was in shock and speechless. I just froze. My dog wasn't being difficult. She was just panting and stiff-legged so she could keep her balance.After they checked her ears and heart the doctor told the assistant to weigh my dog. She took her right behind the room wall where a small weigh table was. What I heard made me so upset. This assistant was undoubtedly mishandling my dog. I heard slamming and my dogs feet going all over. This lasted a few minutes. I interrupted the doctor twice to check on her. He was talking to me about end of life care while I was hearing my dog, my best friend, being slammed around just a wall away. I was crying at this point and just wanted my dog back. The assistant finally comes back in with her and literally tossed her at me. She was so mad and said to the vet "she weighs like 19 pounds maybe I don't know" and stormed off.I did get a call later that day from the Doctor with an apology.I hope that the vet assistant who mishandled my dog is no longer working for Eudora animal hospital. I don't think she should be working around animals at all from what I saw and experienced that day.

My daughter lost a ferret. I loved this vet and called on the phone they said it was as $90 for cremation with ashes. I even confirmed it was $90. When my daughter got there all distraught they told her it was $190 because the ferret was 2 pounds not 1 pound. Very disappointed. In the past this would not have happened. Greed has taken over this practice BEWARE

These vets have been caring for our farm critters for over 21 years and for the past 2 years I’ve been bringing my cats and kittens to them. All the vets are very skilled and experienced, Dr. Shreiner and Dr. Lavin are both extremely compassionate. Dr. Lavin especially takes his time with each and every kitten (even if there’s 12 of them!) and talks to them using their names if known.

The Eudora Animal Hospital is caring, attentive, efficient, and professional. I took my senior dog in for a lump on her head (later diagnosed as an ultra aggressive mast cell tumor) that they operated on. The surgery gave me an extra 2 weeks with my sweet dog. They were especially kind and caring when we took her in to say goodbye for the last time. Needless to say, I will be taking all future pets here.

This place is all about money that is all they want and care about!!!! They do not care about your pet!! I asked for my dog to be put down because of health reason I already knew about but was forced to do X-rays and blood work after telling the vet I didn’t want or need them he still insisted I needed them I told him sir your going to do all of that and still come tell me my dog needs to be put down this is exactly what happend told me to pay $855
