I have been a long time customer of Captain Creek Ranch. I travel extensively with my job and my boy, Cooper, spends lots of time there, including week long stays. He is always excited when we arrive. He loves all the staff, and so do I! They post photos daily of Cooper and all of his friends in Daycare so I can see him having fun. Plus, they have the best groomer around! Captain Creek recently installed artificial turf in their huge play yards to keep their guests clean and help eliminate allergies in your dog! I could not have my job without this great place for Cooper! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

We love Captain Creek for daycare and boarding. All of the staff handle my high-energy puppy with great care and expertise, so I always feel good about leaving her there. Most importantly, my pup loves going there and gets so excited to see all of her friends!

The staff at Captain Creek Ranch are second to none!! You know they love their jobs, they greet you and your fur baby with open arms and are knowledgeable on so many different levels. I have experienced several of their services offered. Clean facility, very well run from the minute you drop your fur baby off to the minute you pick them up, I promise you, it will be the best experience for your whole family. The grooming is phenomenal!! The Owner Dan is highly trained for top notch grooming! Lastly I want to tell people who may be looking for a Standard Poodle. Make Captain Creek your #1 choice. I have had Standards in the past before I brought home 2 of Dans and Wow! Their health, they're beautiful gait, and Dans Standards have the BEST temperaments I've ever experienced. Captain Creek Standards are very smart which makes training easier on you both.

My pup, Mr Harley loves spending time with all his dog friends and the staff is so kind. I feel that he is in great hands when I have to board him. Harley is the little Aussiepoo geey/white. He is almost 6 months old but all the workers say even though he is small he thinks he's the Alpha Dog lol 😆

Cpt. Creek Ranch was an amazing experience for our 10 month old lab, Patton! The staff where exceedingly kind, professional, and animal focused. This Ranch is by far the best boarding experience we have ever had. The added extras are well worth the minimal charge. We can't recommend this place enough! Do youself and your furry friend a favor and bring them to Cpt. Creek Ranch!!!!

I’m a pet professional, and I am super hesitant to leave my personal pets just anywhere. I have known Dan, the owner for several years now, so when it was time to board my show dog, I knew exactly where to take him. He was able to have his hair brushed every day and a bath and conditioning treatment before he came home. He got individual playtime each day and plenty of time to run and play. I took his complicated diet, and it was no problem. I got daily reports, and got to see photos of him playing and being brushed on the CCR Facebook page. I picked up a happy, healthy, clean, boy, and we’re thinking that Felix may need more time at the Ranch!The facility is very clean and there is no icky smell. The outdoor play areas are kept clean and tidy. They even have heated floors for cold days!Book early, they fill up fast!

Everyone who works here is amazing! The groomer is great. When we take our dog to Captain Creek Ranch, he’s so excited to get out and stay. We did only a grooming this time but the groomer is worth every penny! My dog is cleaner than I can get him. And they go out of their way to make sure of there is an issue with something they let you know right away! Jack Sparrow loves Captain Creek Ranch! We won’t take him anywhere else!

Could not be happier with CCR! I took my four and a half month old standard poodle puppy, Drama, to CCR for boarding/daycare/grooming while my husband and I were out of town for the weekend. I was nervous as she hadn’t been boarded before, and this would be her first professional grooming as well. I loved the daily photo updates on Facebook! They said she was a little nervous at first, but really came out of her shell and I could tell that she had a great time! I could tell they kept an eye on her and properly introduced her to the other dogs. CCR understands the importance of proper socialization with puppies her age. The trainer even called after reading my paperwork and noted I was interested in hearing about training options. And her haircut is FABULOUS!! Five stars all around! Already on the books for her next haircut and I will definitely feel comfortable leaving our “Drama Queen” with CCR in the future!!

5/5 for everything Captain Creek Ranch offers. They give me such a peace of mind when I have to board my extra large rescue dog. Doggy daycare groups are carefully selected based on temperament. The ratio of dogs to staff is low. Boarding has always gone great. My dog gets so much love, attention and exercise while staying here. Nature walks are worth the add on due to size of the property. Your dog will actually be in nature with grass trails and creek visits. Captain Creek Ranch goes above and beyond to care for the dogs. I never have reservations about leaving my precious rescue with them for any amount of time. I always recommended to friends and family and CCR is always making the effort to improve their facilities.

We have been taking our dogs here for over 4 years and our pups love it. As they have expanded, its been unfortunately a bad experience. The last few times we have picked them up, we've had issues with being charged extra for treats we did not ask for and they failed to groom our dogs as requested. We were also almost charged $200 extra the time before last. I believe the new girls they've hired are not as attentive and do not care about the needs of the customer as well as overcharging. I wanted to give an honest review and had to change my star rating from 5 to 2.

Captain Creek Ranch is the perfect place to take our dogs for daycare and boarding! They have a lot of play time with the other dogs and interaction with the team there throughout the day, which is really important to us. We love seeing the photos they post on Facebook every day of all the pups playing! Our dogs had never gone to daycare or been boarded before going to Captain Creek and were very shy...the team there understood their socialization needs and now the dogs seem to be disappointed if they aren't going to daycare in the morning 😂 I would very highly recommend Captain Creek!! They have a wonderful facility and team.

We’ve been taking our dog to captain creek for a couple of years now. We have used their boarding, grooming, and daycare. We absolutely love all of the staff and all of the services they provide. Our dog hazel loves going there. And I feel a bit better about leaving her in boarding because I know she’s happy, and well taken care of. The staff here very clearly loves these animals and your dog is in good hands here.

Our babies have been going to Captain Creek Ranch for well over two years. We always have dropped them off and picked them up. This time we were actually traveling for work and were not able to drop them off. They came and picked them up and my mother-in-law was surprised that our fur babies just went with the handler. This, to me, speaks to how much our dogs love everyone at Captain Creek and how well they are treated. It reminded me when my kids would visit grandma and never say good bye...they were ready to go and were so comfortable!Our Lexi split her nail all the way up to her fur and needed medical attention. They contacted me, we discussed and they handled everything. I knew Lexi was in exceptional hands!We can't thank them enough for always taking such good care of our babies!!!!

I hope that I will be increasing my rating to five stars, but at this point our interaction was a visit and tour of the facility. We have not yet boarded our dogs, so a full review is difficult. However, I was quite positively impressed. The staff is knowledgeable and show a genuine love and concern for the dogs. The facility is very clean and well maintained. They have plans for further improving the facility to provide an even better experience for the dogs in their car. We expect to be using them for both day care and several days of boarding.

ALMOST KILLED MY DOG. DO NOT GO HERE! while staying there, my dog got a hold of a piece of a tennis ball that was lying around the play yard. He was unsupervised long enough to ingest the piece and it became lodged in his intestine. He was rushed to the vet where he required emergency surgery that was followed by 4 days in the ICU. Not a phone call you want to receive when you're on vacation and expecting to leave a member of your family with people you think are responsible where he will be safe. I had to fly home immediately while I stood by on his status. This was an extremely financial and emotion burden for me. The contract Captain Creek Ranch has you sign gives up your right to seek restitution in any incidence. After writing a letter to the managers and the owner, they came back and refused to make it right and still made me pay for his stay! DO NOT GO HERE. There are several other facilities in the area that are safe, reliable, and most of all looking out for the best interest of the pet and the owners.

I have never boarded my dog before and I was nervous and scared to leave my baby somewhere that she wasn’t use to. Dropping her off the staff was so amazing explaining everything that she will get to do daily. I had taken her to another groomer as well a few months ago and they did a terrible job on her. I asked them if they could groom her and try and fix her hair, which they did! I loved seeing the pictures on Facebook daily while I was out of town. Then I called to check on her and they were happy and willing to still ease my mind. When I picked her up they were so sweet to tell me everything that she did. When they brought her out, she had no desire to see me. She went behind the counter with the girls working. We went outside to leave and she wouldn’t get in the car! She loves car rides and she didn’t want to leave! As much as it made me feel sad she didn’t want to see me, it made my heart so happy that she was taken care of and loved on! The groomer cleaned her up so much! She was happy, cute, and smelling good! It’s nice to know if I have to leave her again she will be taken care of and loved!

I placed my dog there one weekend (2.5 days) and I don't think they were honest with me about the times that she was allowed to play, about how much she was allowed to be out of the kennel or about any decisions they had to make about her care. I paid the extra for the "dog play time" but only saw her on the photos one day. I called and asked if there was an issue, but they said no... that my dog was just fine and there were no problems. But, when I got her home there were other issues. She had a sore on her nose (that they didn't know about), was overly stressed and really didn't settle back down for a couple days. I will never know what happened, but I sure know I will not use this facility again. I wish they had called me or talked to me if there was an issue, I could have understood or even come back to get her early.Vaccinations were figured out with you before I even brought her, and I paid you for your extra work. I think your communication to owners could be much improved. I just didn't get a good feeling that everyone was honest. Just knowing what is happening means more than you realize and when you don't say anything even after I called to get a report, it just seems like there is something you aren't saying. I know you have a lot of pets that you are taking care of, and so individualized communication might be difficult, but... it is so important.

My pup was really nervous to go to a new groomer. This place not only took the time to make Bella feel safe but they did a great job grooming her and she was done in 3 hours! Great place. I will be returning for sure.

I did research for several months trying to choose a place... I saw CCR ad, checked their reviews and pics of facility and contacted the CcR to get help with a puppy we thought was having aggression. They were very nice and got right back to me! Now this is not our first rodeo with animals. We have rescued several animals the past 25yrs and never had training issues. It was time to get a professional involved. Lol They hooked us up with one of the very knowledgeable and patient trainers, Danielle. We absolutely love her! Our pup isnt having aggression issues. She has anxiety issues. Bith GSDs babies took right to her. And she worked with our 17yo son, myself, and hubby in our home 1x and gave us exercises to do. We already see inprovement!! We have another session with her tomorrow and cant wait!! Eventually we will be with enough manners I hope to go for car rides without her breaking the window out, and walks and then we can actually get to go to CCR and play!!! Lol Captain Creek Ranch is the most affordable trainers in the OPKS area too! Believe me, I contacted MANY and read reviews. Their facility looks very nice and clean too! When choosing professionals for your fur babies, I HIGHLY recommend Captain Creek Ranch!! Thanks so much Y'all! Blessings!
