Usually nice and clean with helpful and knowledgeable help. However I waited about ten minutes to ask floor person a question but she was very busy talking with a friend of hers even though I tried to make myself obvious. Friend finally left and she answered my question. This rarely happens and most clerk's are anxious to be of service.

DO NOT SHOP HERE they do not wear their masks even though they have multiple confirmed cases of covid the upper management is so twisted its disgusting they take advantage of good employees thinking its fine. seems like the store manager has just given up. a business reflects its owner and man its not looking good.

Was referred here from another hardware store that didn't carry what I was looking for (plumbers packing seal). After searching around I wasn't able to find what I was looking for here either but the store employee was very helpful and showed me some alternatives.On another visit I was looking to rent some equipment from their rental department. But there prices for a simple tiller was way too high.Overall the store was very clean and organized, easy to find each department.

Great people helped me out with repairing my blown out RV window. They even let me borrow a 10' stepladder which made the repair easy! Very helpful and courteous employees. Highly Recommended!

Dropped off a storm window to have the glass replaced. They said they should have it done later in the day, which sounded great. I waited until the following morning to pick it up, when I was informed it wasn't ready and whoever is the only repairman wasn't working today. And it may take 2 weeks! 2 weeks! Ridiculous! Obviously I took it elsewhere where I got it done the same day. Terrible service!

The staff completely failed when they charged me over a hundred dollars for a floor sander day rental. First, the associate gave a bad recommendation for the type of sander to use. I had to go back to the store six times total to sort it out and I live 45 minutes away. They knew the situation But showed no empathy for my frustration and offered no discount for wasting my time and gas. This was my first experience there and it was horrible.update: after some deliberation, received a full refund.

I worked here for a few months. The staff seemed nice and knowledgeable but evedintly I was "fired" but who knows because no one told me I was or even why. The manager just slowly quit scheduling me.Then I called corporate office to try and get my W2 back and he was rude.

DON’T get your paint here! Their Paint machine is generally messed up, the recommendations we took from the Salesman said to purchase the paint and they could mix it… than they say it’s the wrong color of white paint to mix… Obviously their training department needs to step up their game!! The difference in their paint color matches is the difference between Macy’s and the Goodwill rejects!

Huge new store. Has rentals. Trailer rental requires a 3/4 ton truck or larger. Does have pavers, lumber, mulch, rock, and sand. Has power tools, and chick days. Good friendly knowledgeable staff

Ever since Water's moved their service really seems to have gone downhill. Last July we were doing ext. house work & I reserved a lift for a Sat when workers were to be there. I went in the day before & was told it would be ready, but then they told me it went out & wouldn't return until the following Wed?! I was furious & had to pay up to rent equipment from a local contractor in order to proceed w/ my project. I then tried reaching out to discuss it w/ the manager after the fact, but had to leave a message that was never returned.I've also found their staff is usually stretched pretty thin & they are less knowledgeable even though it's been 1-2 years since the relocation. Just today I spent 4-5 mins holding while they tried to price an air filter for my mower. They really should have it together by now.

Staff has always been helpful and friendly and I've never had anything but a good experience shopping there. They can be pricey on a few things but are cheaper on others so it all evens out and they offer price matching so win win as far as I'm concerned.

DO NOT rent equipment from Waters True Value in Emporia, KS! Rented an excavator and used for a MAXIMUM of 8.5 hours .... charged me for 11 hours! Said that’s what the meter on the machine shows...their meters are clearly off, asked they get that checked. One of the owners told me they do not tamper with the meters so they can charge people extra money. 1st I did NOT imply that, I was simply suggesting their meter was not working properly! Would not accommodate in any way!!!

First of all I called there store and they hung up on me. The next time i called the manager and he hung up on me also being really disrespectful. I would never go there again in my life... I suggest you do the same. I am now dumber for having experienced this I award you no stars (although i have to put one) and may god have mercy on your soul.

Today we compared 2 different hardware items at Waters in Emporia, Kansas & the Hardware/Lumber store there. One item was $29.99 at the Hardware/Lumber store & $5.00 less at Waters. The next item was $19.97 at the Hardware/Lumber store & $5.00 less at Waters Hardware. We were very surprised & happy. These were the exact same items compared.

Mulch price was ok. Got 15 bags. Was asked if I could load it myself. Yes I can, but I had just spent $48. I loaded myself. Mulch is light weight

Went in rent equipment and trailer, told kid at counter competitors trailer price was less. He acted like he could care less. There was a sign hanging up above the counter that said beat are competitors prices. So for 40 bucks their equipment will set there and I will rent down the road from now on.
