I went in this morning and was greeted by the cashier. I didn't catch her name, but she was very friendly. The register was acting up when I went to check out with her. The very nice employee took my items and brought them to self checkout and scanned them all for me. She went above and beyond with customer service. She could have easily just directed me over to it , but didn't. It put a smile on my face to be treated so well.

I went into the Dollar General at 1202 E. 12 the Ave. In Emporia Kansas Tuesday December 8th to purchase some toiletries which I found with ease however when I went up to checkout there were no employees anywhere I looked and called out to be assisted which seemed to fall on deaf ears as noone answered or acknowledged my presence. So I waited a minute or 2 and called out again saying Hello this time being answered by a rude, crude female employee who said I heard you I can't stand up hear all day I have stuff to do. I responded and said no need to be rude all I've stood up hear for over 5 minutes. As I walked out she told me to have a good day or not she didn't care again RUDE really wish I could contact Corporate. All I wanted was assistance and what I got was attitude. Busy or having truck to put away there is no need for aggressive rude behavior toward a customer who is need of help even if it's to pay for there things

New store just off the highway shelves were stocked well, some aisles blocked by stock carts though. Cashier seemed to be pushing the self check out, there was a line of people. It was no cash option so we had to wait.

This is a brand new store and it is really nice. It is much bigger than the other stores we have in town. They have a self check stand which is wonderful. It is on the east side of town which is nice because there isnt a lot of retail on that side.

This is close to my apartment in Emporia. Brand new and even has self checkout now. Love it for quick in and out trips. Thanks for opening one here. This side of town needed a dollar general.
