Salsa was some of the best I've had. Good amount of heat, not bland but not too hot and a great flavor. Had the Ellis burrito with jalapenos added. Food came out fast and hot. Would definitely recommend.Forgot to take pic of burrito before I started eating. Was really good.

I travel all over the USA, and I was on Interstate 70 in Kansas. I stopped by at ELLIS restaurant to eat some Mexican cuisine. I ordered the Cancun special and loved the food. The ambient in this restaurant is AMAZING! As soon as you step in, you literally enter a different nation. You feel as if you are in Cancun, Mexico. The place feels like a vacation. I recommend this red to all that are looking for hood Mexican food. Trust me it’s a Vibe inside.

Stopped to get gas and saw the reviews for this place. Awesome food and right off of route 70. Friendly staff and an outside patio where I ate with my dog. I’ll be stopping here more often. I had the steak fajitas. Delicious! Dog aporoved.

This Mexican food restaurant is so good, words alone to describe it won't do it justice.Stop by when travelling Ellis KS.Friendly staff, relax atmosphere and quick Service. I was so full, I got up and left my phone behind and they quickly catch with me outside. Now that's money well spent. Check it out folks. No wall needed. Caramba

Chips were hot and fresh, always a great start to a meal!! The salsa that comes with chips is so good and has a black pepper taste that is unique and delicious!! The Ellis burrito is listed as a popular item and I highly recommend it.

Seriously one of the best mexican restaurants that I have ever been to. Ordered the "Chile con carne" dinner. Nana, I'm sorry, but it might be better than my grandma's Chile con carne. It was delicious. Great and polite staff. Full bar. Clean. Thank you Cancun.

Tried to think of a reason to only give it 4 stars and came up blank. Good food, good service huge portions and very reasonably priced. Had the Fajitas Parrillada it was excellent and the pineapple in the Pastor is something that most restaurants forgo, but it really sets it off.

I absolutely love this place!! Every time we stop through the food is always top notch!! Everything is decently priced too!!The staff are always very friendly and they stay on top of everything. They did say they were adding some classic Mexican dishes to the menu so I cant wait to come back and try those!

This is an amazing Mexican food restaurant, located off the Ellis exit on I – 70. I took this exit to get gas and noticed this restaurant was only the food located off the exit. I was very curious seeing a Mexican restaurant in a very austere location, so I tried it. Every part of the meal was incredible, starting with the chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were fresh and extremely flavorful. I rarely eat all the chips and salsa when I am dining solo, but they were so good I ate the entire basket throughout the meal. I ordered the Cancun special, which are basically kicked-up fajitas with steak, chorizo, chicken shrimp and sautéed vegetables. The entrée had exceptional flavor and the tortillas were freshly made. The side dishes which included rice, beans and guacamole salad were phenomenal. This meal was truly exceptional, there was not any portion of the meal that did nit have a ton of flavor. The portions were very large. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food, also the service was fantastic.

If you are driving by on I 70 or stopping for the night at the truck stop I HIGHLY reccomend you try the Cancun. The service was fast and friendly, the place was clean and had an authentic mexican feel including music. Our meals came quickly and tasted wonderful. The portions and price were amazing.

This little gem in the middle of nowhere has made my day,it has earn all 5 stars great and fast service, large portion of chips and salsa to begin with included with the meal at no extra charge and finally I ordered the molacajete which I haven't had in a while and let me tell you it was one of the best I have tasted in my long travels will most definitely stop again if passing through again and recomend you give them a try.

As a driver shacking up next door at the Loves. It was nice to sit down for a meal and a beer. Place was clean & lively. The service was good. I got the Burrito Supreme! It was awesome. Looks like they do good Margeritas too.

Great service & legitimate Mexican food! Was able to also get a really healthy cedar tilapia with steamed broccoli for those eating healthy. My taco & enchilada were delicious with large portions.

I travel all over the place and have been to plenty restaurants with Mexican food. However this place has by no means one of the best flavors I have tasted. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was also amazing and on point. Our waitress Delia was very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend!!!

Oh man oh man oh man! Combo Burrito ftw! Delicious!The staff were extremely friendly, fast and the place was very clean! Loved the salsa, chips and this gigantic burrito! More people need to come here. Prices are reasonable and LOOK AT THAT HUGE BURRITO!
