Great place actually. Though at 5:30pm not only did I search for help when I got it here knew nothing about the products. Finally found the on sale yet wheel dolly and out of around twenty in stock none had full air pressure in tires. Took 30 minutes for him to actually air the tires up. Think a lumber yard might have air let alone an employee who knew where to get it. Checkout line... Twice I asked a last where to check out. Second time all I said was "MA'AM" LOUDLY since ignored me first time. She answered with a finger pointing to service desk and said over there. Heard me first time no doubt. So there I stood in a line about four deep with a manager standing watching instead of just opening another register to clear is all out. Lots of good products but the staff SUX.

Go see John and ESPECIALLY Heather for anything paint or stain literal magicians also the lumber prices aren't terrible. If they don't know they will find out, treated me and my wife like family and would recommend them to anyone!

Good selection of tools and their sales are pretty good too. I usually always look at the sale tags when I shop in store and they are comparable to other Wichita stores. I hate that they close at 8pm tho! If you have questions or need help, I most always have to go to the desk or find someone and ask for help and often times they then have to ask someone else for an answer which can be time consuming and frustrating.

I thought they had a call in service where you call in the order and they pull it for you and you can come by pay and pick it up but the manager tells me they don't do that. Says if you don't talk to the right people it won't get done, which I found out. They couldn't get 6 boards ready for my wife to pick up in 3 and a half hours. In doing so, they lost about 3k a month from me and I will NOT send people there. Guess Menards gets my money.

The employees were nice, but the manager (Kelly) was rude and condescending. We checked the website and my grandfather called the store to double check they had it in stock. The manager claimed they did not have the product we needed because the employees sometimes load the wrong color, so the website is often inaccurate and unreflective of the actual in stock product. He was not helpful or friendly and did not offer to help us order the product we needed. I recommend the store and the general employees, but if you have to speak to the manager for any reason: good luck.

It's a great store. The problem is they pay the employees near minimum wage so their turnover rate is very high. I worked here for 3 months and probably half the staff quit. Consequently, no one employee knows much since they've only worked here maybe a month or two. I once, on my first day of employment, had a gentleman want to buy a garage door. I tried my best to help him but he literally knew as much about getting the right one as me. He was super mad. I think he wrote a review for this store too. Picture someone asking you a professional plumbing question expecting gold out of your mouth and you can't afford to feed your family.

We order a deck that was 16x20 5ft tall and the paperwork shows that I should have 13 post and was only given 7 post and still short and would not given my extra 6 post that I was needing. Driver said that if anything was missing they would make it right. So I will never walk into their store ever again. The lady didnt know what she was doing when designing our deck took 6 times. And I paid $2300 . Now I have to to lowes and pay extra $60 for the deck post that are missing.Talk manager and would not take responsibility for the mistakes they did. And would have no way of doing anything for us.

I work here currently. The one thing I wish we did better would be training/cross training. I have no knowledge in the store that I learned from actual training. All my knowledge was acquired from experience helping the customer as best as I can. When we're short staffed, there's already a difficult time helping everyone. MY ADVICE if you need help find someone in a green shirt down 1 of the 2 middle aisle and call us out. If we hear you we will find you help as best as we can either helping ourselves or getting someone who can.

They are always out or don't carry things that im looking for. Simple things like brackets for framing. I dont understand. Then the prices are alway 2 to 3 times more than another place. It doesn't make sense. The customer service is good. Everyone is always nice. They might not knowledgeable but they are nice.

Dan and Trevor over in Archery saved my deer season this year. They went above and beyond to get my bow fixed and me back in the woods. They will now be my go-to place for all of my archery needs.

Hometown friendly with decent lumber, a great bow hunters section, and mostly good products. If you want to shop in safety,, however,, this is not the place.. You won't find anyone here wearing a mask, sanitizing carts, or keeping hand sanitizer at the register (except to sell).

This store is a joke and needs to be shut down. Their lumber is junk and over priced. Everything I have bought there has been complete junk. The employees are rude and mostly brainless.Drive to Lowe's and don't waste your time shopping at Sutherland's unless you like to waste money.

Pretty good place to shop but always short of help. But I guess that is most places anymore. We were buying 1x6 t&g car siding and theirs was actually better quality than Menards. Bought two windows too. They were good quality Croft low e vinyl which were cheaper than Lowes and Menards. 3 stars was because they only had one employee working the floor.

Trevor in the hunting department was very unprofessional my last visit. Would not even give me the time of day. Was sitting behind the desk on his phone. Terrible service. Terrible experience. Hope they can get him replaced soon.

It won't let me click 0 stars, I don't even know how this place stays open. Wichita is a good skip and jump away. Every time I come in this store there is 0 customer service and I mean 0. If anyone does chose to speak to you they don't work in that department and can't help you. It's ridiculous I have vowed to always drive the extra 30 mins to Wichita. Today I ad desperate and had to have a new garage door. After 45 mins of no service I had to get to work and left. I complained to the manager Carlos who seemed unfazed and just as caring as any other employee. Tomorrow I will drive from Eureka to Wichita to get a garage door from Menards. It's ridiculous to have to do that when I'm in Eldorado everyday but it is what it is. Thanks for nothing Sutherlands!
