Waste of your time. Unless u kmow em u might get the "special" treatment! * em . No good more times then not ! I'm waiting the counter for then feels like u made them go out ur way to help ya!! It's like u gotta be local to get thier business and respect as a customer . Like pulling teeth get them to the register . Definally dont go during breakfast hours thier breakfast is more important then getting you in out for work !! Ughhh And to go across the building sometimes to the Damm liquor store .. Forget it!

Rating this place all 5 stars because it’s a hidden secret that I just found;The customer service is absolutely amazing; the hostess and rest of the staff were so kind, & professional. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel so welcome and their friendly, smiling approach to customer service is top-notched.The place: they did an amazing creativity in building this place, attaching to a gas station! The moment I walked in, felt so small town, calm, and everyone seems to know each other which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a breakfast!Food: the breakfast omelette and the sampler plate are so amazingly delicious and the food is big! The price is way cheaper for the size of the plates and the quality of the food

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about Jennifer and The Hilltop Market & Cafe. I live out-of-state, and wanted to send a meal to a friend in mourning in Leavenworth. Jennifer and her staff could not have been more compassionate and helpful. They really made this meal delivery happen for me and my friends. I’ve been told the food was exceptionally delicious, and that it brought so much comfort to our grieving friends. People like Jennifer remind me that there are still lots of great folk in this world. I feel blessed to have been connected with them, and have to thank the equally as wonderful owner of Leavenworth Floral for pointing me in their direction. Hope to come have a meal at Hilltop if ever I find myself in Kansas. Sincere thanks and all the best, Mary Amelia

This place is great!! We were trying to find a quick dinner while we were staying at Hidden Valley airbnb. Hilltop seemed to be the closest. Im so glad we tryed it. We both had the meatloaf dinner. It was soooo good. Very large portions for the money. The mashed potatoes were REAL potatoes not potato flakes. The green beans are not canned beans. They were cooked with bacon and had a little kick, perfect. We took a peanut butter pie slice and a Reese's pie slice with us for a bedtime snack and they didn't disappoint. We were so impressed we made it a point to get up early enough to try their breakfast before heading home. It was just as good. My husband had biscuits and gravy while I had the tin pan scramble. Lots of great food for the price and the service was good. Everyone very nice. We grabbed a jar of apple cinnamon jam (which i had tried on my toast) to take home and also a slice of nutter butter pie and a slice of coconut cream. Cant wait to try them both. Definitely cant get that quality of a meal for anything close to that price in the city. We will be back when we come stay at the airbnb again! Thank you

Great place to eat!! Everyone always nice and it’s a clean and fresh place to eat!! My favorite is their pies and breakfast 🍳. They give country portions so more bang for your Buck! Check them out if you haven’t already!

Sunday, March 20, was a sad day of eating at Hilltop. I love this restaurant but yesterday, they were off kilter. We got there at 1. So, the chicken should have been in a warmer or fresh after 2 hours as the special started at 11. Everything was cold except for the apple sauce. It was hot and yummy. Hilltops chicken is one of my faves and I had to send it back. The potatoes and green beans were luke cold and the biscuit was plain cold. Colder than room temp. The green beans were also bland. No seasoning. I don't know what was going on but I hope they pull out of whatever it was. Normally they would have a five star rating.

This little restaurant is amazing! During hunting season it is my go to spot for lunch! Pie is amazing, burgers are amazing, breakfast is amazing! I try to take everyone who visits us out to this store. Never a disappointment.

The staff was attentive and friendly. The portion size was hefty and the food was tasty. The cream pies have a flaky crust and a nice thick body with a whipped cream topping.

Hilltop has the best pies on the planet earth. Then I had their fried chicken which is only available on Sundays....and it was amazing as well. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner....tgis is the spot. If it was anymore down home...you would be sitting in someone's living room.

Great place to eat! The tenderloin sandwich was big and very good! Hubby had the lasagne and said it was good. Reasonable prices too.
