This place is amazing! They went above and beyond to save and help my fur babies. I don't know what I would do without VCA animal hospital. First visit about hour and a half ago was an emergency, brought my pup in for swelling and the staff was so sweet and gentle with him and they worked with me and my partner on getting him treatmented quickly. They offer a monthly subscription to cut down on the initial cost of care and it is 100% worth it. They will be our go-to vet from now on. Thank you guys for the help with our furbaby! See you soon!

Dr came back in when we walked in at close with an injured pet. Staff took immediate care of our furry one. They were sensitive to our distress, updated us regularly on her status, took our needs into consideration of care, and charged very fairly for the work done. Our pet was in very good hands even though everyone was ready to go home. Above and beyond.

Friendly staff, easy access and honest service. We’ve been going here for years now and would recommend for sure! One of our dogs ended up having eye issues and helped us along the way to find out what was happening. After several tests were completed they immediately advised us to another eye specialist at K-State. After the surgery from K-State we were grateful it turned out so successful!🙌🏽😅❤️🐶

We had our 1.5 year old lab get sick. He was sick several days. I called all around Wichita trying to have someone look on a Saturday morning.. I called VCA.. Theysaid they we’re booked solid and very busy.. But we’re so compassionate and concerned for our Lab Mitt.. Said bring him right in and they would work him in….I believe having them see him saved his life….My son said they all were so kind… Took the time to explain all the test results. Gave him meds, said to bring him back first thing Monday to follow up…I recommend VCA!! Thank you SO very much for your kind hearts.. And willingness to work in our “ Mitt”. 🙏Bernie Schauf

I had to take my dog here because this was the only place open . They let me in even though they west busy . They went through all of the ex-rays and options luckily my dog was just dehydrated. I would definitely see the dr. again

2.2.23. After having the conversation with the Office Manager, I decided to print out my dogs vaccine sheet. Today I went back into the app, and the due date was changed on my dogs vaccine. I know it's only a med/documentation error, but why deny it and try to make me feel bad because I pointed it out. The responses I received proves my point.Last Update. Just don't. It's not worth the hassle. And differential treatment of people of color. Not one person of color works in this office. Sad to be experiencing this in 2023. I was able to speak with the Office Manager, Rebecca Calluos. Rude, does not listen to hear, but respond. When I told her I felt that I was being treated poorly, since the beginning. She responded Back as if she was a part of every visit, and conversation I had previously. I then asked for her boss. I will be reaching out. VCA is NOT a place for us!!UPDATE: My experience was good until our future visits.1. Lack of transparency2. Poor follow up3. THEY ARE NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING AFTER YOUR FIRST BAG. AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR CUTTING THEIR NAILS WITHOUT TELLING YOU THERE IS A CHARGE.The Vet was awesome in person. The staff over the phone, really depends.

I've been going for years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else! My dog is reactive and not friendly to strangers. They are so nice, understanding and still treat me and my dog well! My dog has become to trust the staff. We got him on the right anxiety meds and he is not as anxious for visits anymore. I've seen all the doctors and they are all amazing. There has been few times where communication wasn't the best but they are quick to resolve the mistake!

They are always so wonderful with my cats. They have extended the lives of two of my cats and they are so good with my other cats. Staff is very caring and compassionate and knowledgeable. I will always bring my pets there for care.

The staff at both the hospital and pet resort is phenomenal. Sometimes it’s tough to find a place where my dog feels comfortable due to many quirks he has from being a rescue. He now loves both the vet and going to boarding because of how good they are to him. You can really tell that they care about your pet and treat them as if they were their own. It also helps that anytime he goes into boarding, I can get his vaccines and whatever else he needs from the vet side. Highly recommend and will continue to use VCA animal hospital and pet resort.

My dog loves the vets here. They always ask to give him treats and my sheltie is always excited to go. They seem to have the ability to fit you in when every other vet turns you away. It has been my go to since I got my dog and they have made me feel very comfortable in times where my dog is sick and I’m super worried about him. The receptionist is fantastic and their team is second to none. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my dog. I also find their prices to be very competitive and I love their care plan. It works well for my dog and I schedule to bring him somewhat regularly to get checked up. Love this clinic and would highly recommend if you’re in the area

The one star is for the club membership, and I can't be more disappointed. I went to get my cat the feline leukemia vaccine, but even though the vaccine is free, the cat has to be tested to be eligible for the vaccine, the test is NOT INCLUDED IN THE MEMBERSHIP. If the results of the test are positive you need to pay again to test for the same diseases to retest your pet, due to high false positive rate. They did not inform me of any of this, I thought $900/year will cover my young pets (the dog and the cat) for the year, but so far, each time I go in I have to pay more money (because most of the things don't seem to be covered).The veterinarian doctors are very nice so are the receptionists. DONT GET THE MEMBERSHIP.

Absolutely the best team of caring people any pet owner could ever want when going to the vet. If you are thinking of bringing your pets here, do it! I was very impressed with the whole experience from the receptionist answering my phone call this morning as I was in a panic to get my hurting dog seen. She helped comfort me and encouraged me to bring him sooner. When I got there my dog was so scared and worried, but after a short while Dr. John and his assistant got him completely calm and happy. He turned my dogs frown into a smile. It was very impressive. They know what they are doing and are so knowledgeable! We got sent home with some medicine and my dog was feeling so much better. I highly highly recommend them! Look no further and try them out! Your pet will thank you!!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Jon Aluise for years and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He has always provided the best care for my animals. A couple of years ago, I adopted an anxious chihuahua from the humane society and I was devastated to learn that he had a pretty severe heart murmur. On top of that, my little man came with a massive attitude problem. Dr. Jon guided me through these issues, offering support, encouragement, and frank, but empathetic, discussion regarding treatments.A good veterinarian thinks first of their patient. And I have always felt that Dr. Jon has presented me with the best options for care. If I couldn’t manage what he recommended, then we kept communication open and worked to develop a care plan that fit my circumstances.Dr. Jon is genuine, caring, intelligent, and devoted to his patients. I bring my 4 year old pit here. She's been going here for about a year now. Let me tell you what Dr. Jon is amazing. He's so sweet and gentle and explains everything so well and detailed. Anytime my dog has ever needed to come in and be seen they get her in very quickly. Everyone that works there are so welcoming and always have such good vibes. They also have insurance for your pups which is very very affordable. I recommend seeing Dr. Jon and his vet family. They are the best!

I have taken my cat here since I moved back from Texas in 2019. I chose them because they are an AAHA hospital near me. However, I can't imagine taking my cat anywhere else. The staff is absolutely amazing and caring!

I would highly recommend Dr Jon Aluise to anyone and everyone that needs a great veterinary. Dr Aluise has been caring for my pets for many years and I would not trust anyone else with their care but him. No matter how big or small my concerns have been he has always treated me and my pets with the utmost respect and patience. From the minute he steps foot in the room you can tell the true passion he has to making pets lives better. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough with his exams. He has always taking all the time necessary to figure out what is going on with my pets. No matter how many questions/concerns I have he always answers then and insists that’s what he is there for. He truly is the most professional and caring vet out there!

Recently I took my cat in to see Dr. Jon and he recommended dental cleaning. While I was a bit skeptical since I visibly could not see anything I trust Dr Jon and so I agreed. So glad I did! Not only did my cat have a decayed tooth that needed to be removed it apparently was hurting him and causing him to be antisocial. Once he got home he was a totally new cat! He can now be found sitting on our laps and interacting with us which has not been the norm for the last year. This service was so worth the money!

Well, I'm really disappointed in this facility. They owed us money... Finally got paid. Owned by a company in california. I offered complimentary interior design services due to my husband's company was contracted to paint both clinic and resort interiors a rather large job. The colors needed to change for it was nerving to pets and owners. Contract was signed and they loved our work, payment was due upon completion. Finally received payment ...thank youI also brought in a Australian Shepherd for help, to see if they could help me find his owner or Check for chip.. The lady really didn't know what to do, and she was afraid of larger dogs. Then the dog growled and tried to bite her. She said to just take to police station. Well I decided to go find Mom, and I did.

Dr. Jon Aluise runs a top of the line veterinary clinic. I was really impressed! There's no reason his clinic shouldn't be rated amongst the top clinics in the state! Everyone is friendly and acts as though your pet is the highest priority. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pet's needs!

I believe this clinic is overpriced compared to others. I strongly feel that had I been going elsewhere, I would have saved a fair amount of money. My dog was in a scuffle with another dog and had a couple minimal puncture wounds. My mother in law took my dog to the vet for me as I was at work. After examination i spoke with the vet. I was told the total bill would be $902 if I decided to proceed with their recommendations which were to sedate him so that they could see how deep the puncture wounds were. The vet told me she preferred my dog be asleep because he did not like her messing with the wound. She also said there was a puncture on his belly and was concerned that my dog may have internal damage and it was her recommendation to ensure he was okay. Medication, sedation, the visit cost, and xrays we’re going to total $902. I decided to pay for the visit and take my dog to College Hill Veterinary Hospital. After examination the vet called to share her findings. She could not find any puncture wound on my dog’s stomach and neither did I. She cleaned up both puncture wounds without incident and did not have to sedate my dog to do it. She saw no need for X-rays. The bill is was $114 including visit and medication. My dog is healthy and thriving now.My husband was a previous customer here but after a few too many mistakes he refused to give them anymore money. He told me he would pay half my cost if I brought my dog to his vet.On a positive note, the staff is friendly including the vet that examined my dog.

The staff and doctors here are competent and compassionate. The CSR, Tayla, really ties the experience together with her friendly and bubbly personality. While they don't often beat other vet offices in pricing, their AHAA accredited facility and high quality standard of medicine really makes the choice to go here easy for my family and I. Thank you!
