The Derby Target in the very north end of the Derby Market Place off of Rock Road. The AC is blasting and the isles are buffed to a mirror-like reflection. I go for the vinyls, collectibles, and electronics. I really appreciate one of last places that is committed to having an actual person ring me up. Give this place some love.

7p Friday before Easter. All self checks outs closed. Two cashiers and LONG lines of customers waiting. They do returns at the registers now so taking even longer. Two "loss prevention" employees were bored and chatting by the CLOSED self check outs. When I finally got to a cashier, I asked why the self check outs were closed. He said customers were surveyed and they didn't like them.What?! Some do. who did they survey? I saw on the news they were cutting back to 10 items or less which is fine.... but this "survey" info was new.After about 10 minutes of super long lines, they called up more cashiers AND opened THREE self check outs.It's not the cashier's fault management waited so long to take care of customers, I know, but dude was snarky about the self check outs and didn't need to be.7p on a Friday before Easter and TWO cashiers and no self check out open. It just felt like no one (management) was paying attention to what was happening in their store.

I love shopping at this Target! They always have the cutest party supplies. I also like buying my pet stuff here, too. As well as fun t-shirts from the clothing section. The cashiers are friendly. The staff is helpful. They are always well stocked. When Covid is going on, they make sure to sanitize their carts in between users. That definitely make me feel better when shopping.

They need to learn how to utilize the drive up services they offer. Customer service skills is lacking in the majority of the staff these days.

I’ve been to this location a handful of times in the last six months and each time have had extremely rude encounters. There’s no self checkout, they are understaffed, the people working are soooooo rude, the wait time in line is shocking (15 minutes - lady abandoned register in the middle of checking us out to go get someone else’s order), and when you are checking out, there aren’t any screens that show the customer the price. What the heck? Get it together! I love any other Target, but NOT this one at all and I do NOT recommend it!!

The store would have a five star review if not for AT&T. I came to the store to purchase a wireless speaker for my shop. The salespeople for AT&T were pushy and soliciting me to their products. I was pretty clear I wasn't interested they didn't take a hint. I will not return to this target.

Terrible customer service. You're essentially speaking to someone who is from another country with a very heavy accent and doesn't understand what you are saying, and I couldn't understand them either.

Rock road target is always clean. Their staff, especially Olivia, is always friendly, smiling, willing to help and professional. I prefer to do all of my shopping at target.

I typically have experiences at this target that meet my expectations, but tonight and associate named Courtney went really above and beyond for me. I couldn't get the app to pull up the right information for my Cat and Jack return, she problem solved with me and got me a merch card. I proceeded to lose the merch card while grabbing an item. Came back through her line and mentioned it, she was able to use the receipt from when she gave me the merch card to still get me the "lost" money. I had my toddler with me who was starting to lose patience and she made my whole week with her kindness.I was also excited to see they have self checkout now, and am hoping on less eventful visits to utilize that. Overall I prefer my Derby target to others I've visited.

Be careful when you buy anything on clearance. Attempted to buy an item today that was clearly marked clearance, item rings up at full price, cashier and manager just gave be dumb looks, refused to charge the clearance price and wouldn't even go check. They even claimed that the full retail price was already marked down from the actual price. I bailed because I was already short on time.

Maddie was so helpful. She helped me get signed up on the app. I came from Wichita for a dog jacket. We were able to find what I was looking for.. hands down the MOST friendly target I have been to in Kansas

Please tell your cashiers to keep their opinions to themselves. I went to purchase some hair products and the cashier continually told me that I'm "buying it for the name brand." At least 3 times, and went into detail on how little I'm getting for the price. I know how much I'm getting. I'm literally holding it. I'm buying this "name brand product" because it's been working for me for 10 years and it's difficult to find cheaper products that work as well as this does. I really didn't appreciate this encounter

This is my go to target since it ls really close but they definitely need self checkouts and are always understaffed. But they expect people to wait in line for just 1 cashier.

Pretty standard Target experience. The place has always been clean and well maintained whenever I've been there. The people have been pleasant and helpful without being pushy or intrusive. The bathroom has been clean which is always a plus and the selection there has always been what I'm looking for. Not totally amazing but not bad at all.

I ordered a new book for drive up pickup. Initially it said that it'd be 4 hours before I could pickup my book but within like 2 hours it was ready. I wasn't ready yet. My app wouldn't work when i got there but a gentlemen working there asked me if I needed help & then brought me out my book. Very polite. I can't wait to use this service again.

This is my usual go to Target to shop at. Every time I go here now they never have enough people on registers it’s usually maybe 2-3 and the lines are pretty long. Pull people from other duties or get a self checkout. This is the only target in this area without them. Super disappointed in the disorganization

I picked up in Derby Kansas it was convenient however when I walked in there was not adequate visibility visibility of signage showing where to pick my products up so I had to wait in a long line Of regular shoppers to pick up my product which was supposed to be quick and easy there were 4 shoppers ahead of me 1st ahead of me inadequate Check out people so it's not like I could have moved around I went right to the convenient Indian return Check out people so it's not like I could have moved around I went right to the convenience area and she was checking out shoppers..

Very clean and maintained. Dressing rooms were clean and organized. Lots of clothing sizes to choose from and employees were polite. Only down side was at check out, there were several employees standing around but only two cashier's open with lines of 5+ customers in each. Didn't seem fair to have only 2 open when there was enough traffic for 3.

Used car side pickup and they forgot half my stuff. Had to wait inside the store for 10mins. Realized I still was missing a drink item when I got home. I'm too irritated to go get it. I'm really disappointed in the service today. #whycan'tpeopledotheirjob

I really like shopping there. Plus it was awesome getting a gift certificate for spending my money there. That sealed the deal for me to go and spend my money at target. I really enjoy and appreciate the $15 gift certificate and thank you!

It's a Target just like any other Target around; generally well stocked and clean. Had issues with only one cashier working for a while but issue seems to be sorted now and lines move much faster.

It’s an average store, but we have never had any experience that stood out as anything special. There are never enough registers open. There have been several occasions where we’ve been pushed thru the check out as though we were an inconvenience.The cafe is subpar compared to any other Target cafe we’ve been to...not because of a lacking food menu, but because the staff seems annoyed at customers and the food is always stale or room temperature.On high notes, though, they do a great job of keeping products stocked and the bathrooms are very clean! I constantly notice employees going thru each area to clean up or properly organize the racks.

This store's customer service is over the top. I actually am working this store for Crossmark and my husband and I are in love. I would move to Derby for this store lol. It is clean, great selection, wonderful snack area, very good prices and quality (our first purchase was some towels ...very happy) and has the most amazing customer service. I have worked since I was 12...mostly in retail. I have always felt that I had good customer service skills. This store goes the extra...each and every employee.

I would not recommend his Target at all. We've had nothing but agony every trip. This was he worst trip ever and left me having an anxiety attack. The cashier was unpleasant and the manager was as equally unpleasant. Go to the Far West Target or the one up on the East side if you want good customer service. My husband and I were treated like scammers. The ad was good through today and they tried pulling out an ad that starts tomorrow. This was so disappointing.
