I don't really come to this location since I don't live nearby but thought I would give it a chance and see if I could find any other deals and try something new. Little did I know how disappointed I would be with my decision, I came to check out the clearance and from the second I walked to the back of the store I started noticing workers following me so I started feeling really uncomfortable and moved to mens clearance and more workers followed me and I over heard them saying to keep an eye on me because I have a crossbody purse, I had planned on being here so much longer but was almost in tears because of how uncomfortable and irritated I was. I ended up putting some of my things back because I didn't want to be in there anymore. I understand that people do steal and people do need to be aware of that but if I haven't done anything to make you think that I am stealing and wasn't even going through my bag or my pockets please don't follow me and make me feel like a criminal when I am a just a human that likes taking my time shopping and checking for all of the sales since I don't go shopping much. I can honestly say I will never be coming back to this location, the manager didn't really seem to care much when I complained so I'm very disappointed that people just don't have the customer service they used too.

Great store with affordable prices. I love when I find a gem that one wouldn’t expect to find at this store. I really enjoy shopping at Ross and highly recommend!

Clean store but not much inventory to choose from. The handful of times I have visited, there always seem to be low selections of shoes and purses - almost like they aren't filling up the store on purpose 🤔

Just went in to look. Cool stuff. But kinda pricey I thought. Employees was almost non existent. Not 1 contact in boutique 45 minute visit but think maybe security was checking us out. Lol l

This place gives trash bags to carry home your purchase. How ghetto, wont be returning to this location. I hope someone at the district level reads these reviews. The staff was rude and not very observant as well as store looked like it was low on merchandise. These folks aren’t worth whatever they are paid, that’s all nothing but facts. Spoke with Holly, store manager today and she laughed when I told her about the garbage sacks. Maybe she should be a garbage women and not work retail if its so hard to order bags for customers. Make it make sense this isnt rocket science. Unprofessional.

The Ross store in Derby is the best one in the area. It's the only one I've been in that isn't messy and unorganized. I can always find what I need. However, the volume of merchandise that's available is significantly less than the larger stores in Wichita. Keep in mind they do get trucks of merchandise throughout the week. Also, the employees are always friendly, professional, and very helpful.

This is the literal worst "management" and "District management" we have ever come across. They literally asked us to be sympathetic for them taking weeks to handle a issue because they were on vacation. Not worth the low prices to go in to that location and deal with untrained and unethical employees. Got my full amount refunded thanks to someone who actually cared to handle the situation not even 15 minutes after the DM blew it off.

Stock was very low. Out of date. Very little variety. Embarrassed that my Mom has a gift card from Christmas that she still needs to spend in the store. Hope she finds something. Messy.

Ross is fine but this Derby stores floor is SUPER DIRTY! It look like it hasn’t been mopped in months. I would highly recommend they get it cleaned ASAP.

Really appreciated a Mgr helping me carry out 4 sets of Grad Gifts for Young Men. Those car floor mat sets were too heavy for me to lift, let alone carry outside 98° heat index. Ross had clever, practical Graduation gifts.

I've been to four different Ross's and they're all the same, even the new ones. It's cluttered with fixtures and empty displays/boxes. There's product all over the floor even just a couple of hours after they open when there's not a lot of people in the store. I think it's the same parent company but I prefer TJ Maxx

Very clean and well organized. The employees were very friendly. 1 thing though a guy employee kept following me around like I was gonna steal. I work for what I have and don't appreciate him assuming otherwise because I was dressed down from work. I understand stealing is an issue that effects us all but don't treat people guilty until they do something to contradict that. I will be back just wish if I was gonna be followed they'd be my shopping assistant and push my cart for me.

I'm not a big shopping fan in general, but after coming here with the wife a few times, I have to say, not a bad place. Seems to be very reasonably priced and has always been clean and in good order. Not a huge selection necessarily, but can usually find what you're looking for.

There doesn’t seem to be as much of a variety in this store as I’m used to seeing in other locations. There are some good deals, but mainly on clothing. The shoe prices are a joke for a discount store, and there’s barely enough merchandise to fill one aisle for toys, kitchen items, and sports items.The staff seems friendly enough, though the two employees I’ve asked for help from were unsure how to help me find a product. I was simply told to look in the aisle and if I didn’t see it, it wasn’t carried.

A year ago I resigned because I wanted to focus on my studies. I didn't know that I was supposed to get my last paycheck until November when I stopped by the store. One of the assistant managers gave me a folder that had my name and what's in it was the check I was supposed to get before I resigned. I deposited the check and then my bank notified me saying that the check expired and on top of that charged me a $12 fee. I notified the assistant manager and she said that the old manager left it in his office and didn't even bother to get in touch with me. What makes it worse is that he threw it somewhere until the assistant manager found it. I talked to the new managers and they said they will take care of it and it took almost 3 months for my new check to get processed.I've been going back and forth and still said that it's being processed. It shouldn't take 3 months for my new check to get processed!!! What ever you do don't work there!!!

I always enjoy going to Ross Dress For Less because of the organization inside the store. Finding the Plus Size clothing is easy, they always have a wonderful clearance section (plus low prices to begin with) and they always have what I’m looking for.

Prices weren't as cheap as you would expect from a a place claiming to pay less. Maybe it was the timing of our visit (before school) but the selection was fairly thin for the kids section (especially boys). The shoe selection was also very underwhelming.

Any time we visit we are able to find pants or shoes for my rather particular teenager. And I find stuff I don't "need", like candles. 😄

Ross™️ Dress for Less is a great store to browse, if you've got time and you're into that sort of thing. I went in needing dress pants, beige shoes, a vest and 00g plugs.Left with 5% less dignity.
