The worst grooming service I have ever experienced. For starters, I usually wash and groom my own dogs but due to the holiday craziness i didnt have time so I figured ill take them to get washed and Ill trim them up at home. One of the groomers when I got there was almost making it sound like I dont know how to take care of my dogs and what they need done. I told this individual no i will do it at home. She kept pressing and pressing I said ahh whatever sure wont hurt just a little more ill have to pay. Not only did my total for 2 dogs come out to 170$ they came out with injuries. One of my dogs came out with a scratch on his nose and the groomer had the audacity to ask if it was there before, like no ma’am… I brushed it off cause he probably hit his nose or something which doesnt make sense because he doesnt fight with anything but hey i wasnt there. The other wasnt even finished. They told me they wanted me to bring her back after them having her for 4 1/2hours. INSANE! I get home and im petting my dog and I feel patches of hair missing from her neck area under her ears. I immediately took her to a better lit area and found horrible burns, scratches i dont even know some marks. She had some matts but not bad enough for her to one not be completed and two to be scratched up the way she was. I was extremely horrified of how they treated them. I cried because I can only imagine the pain. That stuff hurts, I had to put medication on it and give her lots of love I felt so bad. NEVER will I ever take them back to this place. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.

This is actually out the vet clinic in petco.Went in to get prescription dog food because my puppy got sick, and my head was all over the place, not realizing I left my prescription at the house. They called the vet, got the fax, and honestly made it easy to help me get what I needed. They were amazing. Thank you

The people who work at this store are awesome! They are so helpful & informative. They really love their customers & their pets. Bonus thing I did not know about this place...They has a little pet treat snack bar! That is cool & convenient for dog lovers. Also, I guess there has been a cat litter shortage. They have a little program with an initial purchase of $11.99 and litter refills for $9.99. I have 5 cats, so that is a big deal. Great place!

We were told at our first exam that EACH PET got a free exam, and were ENCOURAGED to bring our other pets in for a first exam. Then AFTER the exam we were told that was no longer a deal, and we were charged $60 for an exam that took less than 5 minutes and that we waited 45 minutes PAST our appointment time for. An exam where we were told there was nothing they could do, to take our pet to a specialist. $60 for that lack of help!

My dog came back traumatized. He was shaking and wouldn't leave my sight. And this week has been really strange with his behavior. I'll try one more time and hopefully it will be better.

Clean store, well stocked but I noticed that their ball pythons temps were really high and humidity was low other than that we enjoy the store. We got our daughter a guinea pig and they had everything needed they even priced matched a enclosure that was 180.00 for 50.00 so that was a huge win and bubbles now has a good home and a living family.

I took both dogs in for grooming and had a super experience! I was so excited with how they turned out. The long haired one knew she was so pretty and danced around to show off! They loved Michaela and I will gladly take them back!

They quoted one price online then when you pay they add a huge "material charge" to what they quoted you!!! I have a shorkie and a morkie two of the worst haircuts EVER!!

Last week I went into petco to purchase a ferret. Aj publicly made me feel stupid and even made comments about my weight in front of my children. Employees shouldn’t be allowed to treat customers this inappropriately. She had the audacity to even roll her eyes at my children when they asked what her favorite animal was. Not a kind woman.

Took our dog in for a bath, nail clipping and deshedding so really this is her review rather than mine. She came out from her grooming appointment with her head held high and not a care in the world task wagging. Staff seemed friendly prices weren't too terribly bad and she excited for her next appointment

This Petco has to be by far the best that I have been to the employees were incredibly helpful with whatever we needed help with. We had a situation with animals that we bought there and they went above and beyond to help us. I would recommend this Petco to anyone

The staff has always went above and beyond. They are sincere and they to fit in my dogs, even if it is last minute, which is absolutely appreciated. They are careful with my dogs and also informative of any exam or procedure that needs done. I appreciate the kindness.

We just took our Maltese to derby Petco. We asked for a summer cut but "DO NOT CUT HER TAIL" It took us 5 years to grow it out and flagged. My wife picked her up and they shaved her whole body including her tail! $75 and Not happy! We asked if they drained her glands and brushed her teeth and could not get an answer from the lady that brought her out.

Went there to look for mice supplies, they didn’t have what I needed and I go to look at the female mice and one of them had a large abscess on its lower jaw. How do you leave it be in the cage. Who knows if the other mice can be affected?

I'd rate 1 if it didn't feel guilty. Simply put, bought a "Baby Girl" beta from Petco (bowl was labeled as such). Tried a few times to introduce her to my established bubble-making male beta when she was about 9 months old; found out that they did NOT like each other. Few weeks later the "girl" beta was making bubbles which told me I had another male...too late since she'd already kicked my established male beta's azz. About a week after all this, my established beautiful male beta died. So now I have a Petco MALE beta who is very pretty, but sucks I lost my original marbled male. Boo. If I'd known I put two males together...well I'd never put two males together. I'm a novice hence the dependency of the label.I wouldn't have bought male on purpose. Sooooo if the label says gender, I'd say it's still a 50/50 chance it's true.

The aisles are always blocked with stocking equipment and products you can’t ever get through. They also charge for a plastic bag to put your items in that you were already ridiculously overcharged for…I can’t believe that

Been here twice. Both time aisles were blocked all over the store. They didn't have what I came in for either time. To be fair, they might of had it in one of the boxes blocking the aisles. Found a substitution. Staff overcharged me, then, when I pointed it out, played around with refunding it so long, that i finally just had them refund the entire bag. They never did go check the price on the shelf.
