The Derby Lowe’s at K-15 and Patriot Avenue. This is another quality location of the home improvement chain, just with a much less helpful staff than the the ones I usually go to. Still, they have well stocked departments and dependable checkout so I continue to shop here when I’m in the area and can recommend it over the alternatives around Derby.

I have to change my former review after the $150 installation fee we paid for Lowes to install our storm door. I could have done a better job and I have no experience hanging doors. There’s a huge gap from the moment of installation, making it so energy inefficient that it’s unusable. We spent over $600 on the door and it’s a complete joke. I do NOT RECOMMEND their installation service. We have to rehang the door and risk damaging it. I’m NOT happy about it at all. The guys hey send out are in a hurry and their work sloppy.Former review: Great experience. The guy in the appliances area was really helpful. I recommend this store! They have more than you can imagine when it comes to home improvement, tools, home decor, and lawn care. Definitely worth checking out! If they don’t have a specific color in the appliance you choose, they can order it for you. Often if it’s not in a store, it’s stocked in their local warehouse, which only takes a few days to arrive. If it’s not in the warehouse, however, I recommend placing an order online or through their mobile app. It will arrive quicker than if they place the order for you, at least that’s what the guy who helped us said.

I love this Lowe's. It is close to my home. I went shopping for succulents. I was not disappointed. They had a wide variety. Generally ranging from $5 to $35. $35 ones are more big hanging baskets. Very mature succulent varieties. The $5 plants were normally per plant. They also had a section where they were having a succulent sale. Pots with different varieties of succulents, $5 for the 2 pack. There were lots of other plants available. They all look healthy. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. It is a good place to shop for plants. I recommend them.

Went Christmas tree shopping here, found a tree we liked and tried finding an employee to net our tree so we can leave. Apparently the employee appointed for the garden area was on a break or something, so instead of getting another employee to help us they had us sit and wait. The employee never came, we waited maybe 20 min till we went back to the front requesting an employee to help us for a second time. We still had to wait. Finally an employee came to help us and had no idea what to do so we had to tell him how to do it. We went to the front and apparently there was no tag on the tree. So instead of an employee doing what they are paid for they had my mom go back and just grab a tag off a tree so we could check out. So annoying how no one is willing to do their freaking jobs anymore.

Receiving sucks. 7am-4pm is a made up time. I called yesterday ( March 13th) and was told 4pm they stop taking deliveries then he turned around and changed it on the phone call to 3:30pm. I got here yesterday at 4:15 and figured what does it hurt to ask..the guy in receiving said "dude it's way past time" very unprofessional. This morning ( March 13th) I check in at 6:58am an get looked at crazy. I said is it way to early? And they said well kinda but it's ok. The forklift guy at receiving gets here they said around 10 minutes after 7am. So why is it ok for people to make up their own hours and not have a forklift operator at 7am unloading me when my appointment starts at 7am. Now getting unloaded at 7:24am.

Went in to Lowes with a list of material for my project. Found most of what I needed but needed some cut wire.Nobody was around. I walked around until I found an associate and asked them for help. He said he couldn't do it but would send someone. I heard him announce it over the PA. No-one came tho. This was a Saturday afternoon. I had to leave and get what I needed off amazon and at Menards. Menards is the dollar general of home improvement but at least they have people around to help every time. Im done with Lowes.

Traci...Saved my life...when she helped track down a set of 1 1/2 self tapping heavy thread screws. The big box was really too many and too much, she said lets check down the aisle a bit....and BINGO she found exactly what I wanted. Great saleswoman.

Currently at the Derby lowes. I've wandered around the store, fou d my stuff all fine.I get up to the register and it is time to pay, i put my credit card in and it asks for a pin. I tell the guy several times that it is a credit card and doesn't have a pin and he doesn't have a clue. He just tells me to try again amd i do a couple more times and he doesn't know what to do.Finally I'm like, i guess I don't get to buy anything today. Still nothing, lights are on but no is home glazed over stare with not the slightest desire to do anything but stare at me.He didn't bother to ask a coworker or a manager or anyone to help. Just wanted to stare at me till i felt uncomfortable and left to go arohnd and get a manager myself. Still waiting on a kamager.Sometimes you don't know how to do a job, that's ok, but for christs sake get help don't just stare at the customer and do nothing at all.

I placed a online order that was accepted. One hour later I get a email saying the order was denied. No explanation. Plenty of $ in the account. So I spent my $200 at Menards instead. Reminder why I avoid Lowe's

The package of lights I bought were $12 a box in November came back for some more and they’re double the price. They even put a fake sticker saying they’re on clearance lolUpdate: I still purchased the string lights only got 3 boxes for the ridiculous $24.99 price. I just don’t like the lack of integrity the store displayed saying the lights pricing was lowered on clearance when that was not true at all. Reason for the 3 stars!

I would give this store a rating of 10 if I could! However they have no clerks to check a person out!! It's all soft serve I do not appreciate stores doing self serve!!Everything else next door is a star of TEN! Great employees knowledgeable and very friendly!! Bringing cashiers and I will put my stars cup 25 where it truly belongs!!

Although I stopped in at Lowes to look for 3d printer filament, which they don't have, i always love shopping the aisles. I can waste a whole day imagining the possibilities. I did however, end up getting a great deal on a top and bottom tool box I needed for work. Very cool place.

I'm very disappointed in the poor service that I have received. I came to Lowes to buy the craftsman cordless impact wrench that was listed on sale for $99 original price was $169. I asked an employee where this particular impact was and wanted to buy this item, the employee walked over to the display and ripped the sticker off and stated "Thats not the right price someone forgot to change that and we don't have that anyways".. First, thats false advertisment and secondly ripping the sticker off and basically telling me sorry we didnt do our job correctly and i don't really care if we have your business does not sound like good business to me. I shop here often and now you have made me feel like your competitor would of handle this situation much better. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service that was provided to me.

Wouldn't refund or exchange a faucet I had purchased. The box is sealed and unopen. I like the outdoor lawn and garden. Most other departments are understaffed and an all out dumpster fire. Cashier's are very nice. There are usually plenty of cashier's and it appears that in the last year or 2, that they have added additional help, mostly in the evenings. The hood news is that you don't have to take a lap or 3 around the whole store to find a worker to assist you.

No longer my fave. Poor communication, won't return calls, pass the buck to the next worker when had issue. Don't special order anything here. Months later I still don't have anything and find out my item was never ordered. After they took $500 from us. That is blatant theft. I did finally get my money back and still have no flooring. Poor management and even poor flooring employees. Tim, Greg, Shannon you all let us down. Everybody passing the responsibility to the next person, and can't even have the courtesy to give me a call back. I understand the first shipment got lost by fedex. But when you tell me you've reordered it and it was never done that is just pure laziness. Reordered at different Lowes. Received in 5 days SMH. After waiting months at this one

I bought a 1/2 price fresh cut Christmas tree!! Everyone was super nice. They made the bottom cut, wrapped the tree and put it on the roof of my SUV!! Great experience!!

The staff at Lowes have always been very friendly and helpful, they have great sales and selection of things I need. I am really happy that I can purchase Craftsman Tools there too.This Lowe's has some hard to find items, ended up saving me over $6 on one small project.I like this store for the ease of getting in and out, even when they are busy you can get through the checkout fast!

Lowes needs to figure out how to not put a sign by something that is not on sale. When a sign says 2 for 10 they should honor it. It should never be the customers fault they miss labeled something. This was not just one put in the wrong place there was 50 or more. All or none lowes.
