I have chronic pain and was looking for something besides opioids. These guys are very knowledgeable on all their products, explain what can help, and always tell you to start slow. Great guys to learn from and just shoot the bull with. Always enjoy them and never feel pressured to buy anything. I highly recommend this store to anyone wanting relief from chronic pain!

They are so patient and answer all of your questions as well as providing great recommendations! They have helped me so much!EDIT: 3/18/2024 I went in to look for something for my pain as normal OTC pain killers weren't cutting it. Jeremy was there and ran through everything that could possibly help and made some perfect recommendations. This staff is always eager to help and is always very knowledgeable. Still recommending a full 5 star review. one hour after going into their shop I am feeling much better!

Very knowledgeable about their products, which is extremely nice since most shops have no clue what they are selling. The atmosphere is very friendly and not at all what you get in normal shops. Would highly suggest talking to them about different products depending on your needs.

I feel very grateful to have stumbled upon this wonderful shop! I got to sample a couple products before purchasing, and learned so much about hemp along the way. I have two rare diseases and arthritis that I battle every day. Jeff was so knowledgeable about every product they had to offer and how each one would affect me differently. Shortly after moving to the Derby area, I noticed the sign for the CBD American Shaman store and said to myself…I bet that shop has been around since the good old Woodstock and free love days…I can’t wait to stop in and check it out…and it’s a great thing I remembered to do just that a few days later…The friendly fellas that work there are wicked knowledgeable about all of the products they have to offer…and they have quite the selection. They took the time to answer my many questions and then asked me a few of their own to make sure I was making the best choice…I’ll definitely be back to learn more and to try some new items…

I love American Shaman! Best customer service I have EVER experienced. Jeff gave me a couple samples of kava months ago but didn't have any on the shelf to sell yet. I left my number & said I was interested in buying some if they started selling them. It's been months ago (I actually forgot about it) but he called me & said they finally got some! I was amazed he remembered! He remembered exactly who I was, my name & what products I use. Everyone there is amazing & super helpful when I'm looking for new things to try. They always help me find exactly what I need. As a recovering addict, I am so grateful for them helping me find what works for me (anxiety is a huge issue). They're knowledgeable in what they have & always go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Great quality & great customer service! I love them!

I have MS and struggle a great deal with muscle tightness, pain and fatigue. They have helped me come up with a regiment that works for me. It honestly allows me to live the most normal life I can. To Whoever Has Ever Rescued an Animal:My name is Mark Bauer and almost a year and a half ago, my wife and I decided to open our happy house to a female German Shepherd that we found online at the Junction City Shelter (near where we used to live). When we got to the shelter, we knew it was going to be a tough transition for her. One of the police officers that rescued her showed us the actual footage of them rescuing her from beneath an abandoned house.Upon homecoming, on our first day, she slipped out of her harness and ran away. Loping the four miles back to the shelter. We again welcomed her back into our home and simply provided all the love, yummy treats, comfort (we already had rescued a doggo 6 years ago) and toys that she loved.We noticed that her previous owners/tormentors had ziptied (or wired) her jaw shut.Needless to say, trust has been a difficult road that we have traveled together.Upon our arrival in Derby, we decided to stop by American Shaman as I am a retired Combat Veteran who has been blown up more times than I can count (let alone care to remember). My dear sweet wife also suffers but those struggles are not for me to share.Once we were inside, we were welcomed with kindness, compassion and INFORMATION! They simply listened and made multiple recommendations from their ample selection until suddenly, my wife called me over to a stand of doggo treats in varying dosages and a variety of flavors....we looked at each other, smiled and said nodding: Xena (that's our Shepherds' name). This was a week and a half ago and the change has been exponential! She's loving, playful and even climbing on the furniture to give and receive affection. It is truly a beautiful thing to witness a living being come out of their shell but even more so, a being that has gone through a hell few could possibly imagine. She still doesn't really like strangers or being startled but then again...who does?!?From the bottom of our hearts and the depths of our happy home: Thank you American Shaman. We'll see you guys tomorrow as we're running low on treats for all lol!

This place is amazing! I have problems from an autoimmune disease I'm dealing with. Jeff and Jimmy are both so helpful and knowledgeable. Jeff gave me a cream to try, and it helped with pain and swelling in my hands. I ran out of gummies once, and won't be doing THAT again. They make a huge difference. I was very doubtful about the uses of cbd until now. Trying it made me a believer. My only regret is that I waited so long to try it.

If you are like me you’re not sure what you’re walking into when you enter a store of this kind. The environment is so welcoming and chill. Jeff is very knowledgeable of all the products. There is literally something for everyones levels of comfort with CBD. I personally love the chronic candy and the cold drinks. But I’m excited to keep trying new things! Our 8 year old overweight Golden Retriever had been having hip problems for a couple years. We tried different hip & joint supplements for the past two years, and nothing seemed to work. In November, we purchased CBD dog biscuits. After about a month, Gunner does not appear to have any problems moving and seems to not be in any pain. I will admit, I was skeptical but this stuff really seems to work. And dogs will not fall for the placebo affect. Thank you Jeff, for an awesome product and great customer service!

Great guy and excellent business ethics! (whole other story!!)Picked up some CBD dog biscuits. after just two doses my 13-year-old bird dog has a whole new attitude! She’s relaxing, And seems to be easing her old bones. After her hunting for me 10 years, I want to give her the best I possibly can in her retirement! This really seems to be working for her and if we don’t have any adverse effects, We shall continue this treatment.Long story short, I recommend this to anyone with a dog getting up there in years. The effects are visible and the dog is happy!

I love American shaman! I've been on cbd for almost 2 years and I won't go without it. I've had fibromyalgia for almost 20 years and using cbd has gotten me off of some of my meds that were giving me horrible side effects. I will only get it from American shaman.
