I love stopping in to this shop every single time I am in Concordia. This is a family owned and run shop and you can tell they are so passionate about what they do here! They have an amazing selection of reptiles and amphibians along with a few other animals. I believe they even do some of their own breeding as well! So knowledgeable about the critters in there store and very friendly as well highly recommended this store!

I do not recommend, I purchased 2 red eyed crocodile skinks at an expo 4/16/22. after 4 years of looking and researching. I was so happy to see some finally at an expo. one died within 24hr and the other one seemed lethargic. I contacted sadly split-tongue is a buy at your own risk. I found out these skinks were ordered in and the store only had them about 2 weeks prior to selling them at the expo. sadly nearly $500 waisted and I have to destroy the bio active set up to prevent future skinks I get from getting ill.*update, after some back and forth split-tongue exotic offered a refund for the deceased skink and refund on the living one if I drive 2.5 to them. I accepted the refund on the dead one but choose to keep the other one, fingers crossed he is well.

Awesome place for all your exotic needs. Animals that is. Kenya is very knowledgeable. They have been doing business with my son and his family for years. I recently b started doing business with them aquiring my first snake. I have met both owners and one of their kids, all seem to be very knowledgeable, treated me with respect and kindness even tho I was completely ignorant regarding snakes when I went in. Thank you for all your help.

Very friendly and clean! The people who work there are awesome and they was a County Fair going on but they took the time to help me out and about questions. They knew what they were talking about and their products. I ☺ loved it and I would recommend them to anyone! 🙏

I bought 4 leopard geckos from them, honestly a very cool place and very cute animals…but the only reason I gave it a 4 star is because of the smell, it was very strong, but to be fair they also did have monkeys and other very stinky creatures. They have a very diverse collection of reptiles, I recommend going there and checking it out.

went there today and was very happy. It was like walking into a zoo. All their animals were beautiful and unique. Their toys are also very cute. Friendly workers, and adorable dogs. Hoping I can return soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I absolutely have mad respect for Kenya! Her passion for her trade and animals radiates throughout her demeanor as a enthusiast and a store owner. Every time I walk in the store, I know for a fact she and her crew are looking for your pets best interest.

Bought a tegu at the Cold Blooded Reptile expo in KC on 9/28/19 but it kept prolapsing and died immediately after. The vet took xrays and there was no impaction.In back tracking I called the care sheet and found that breeder wasn't happy with split tongue distributing their info on reptiles they don't carry... After calling the expo people and using thier booth location I called split tongue who remembered me.They are not a hatchery just resale from the coast. They said mine was from Reptile Industries. Others on split tongue's fb had lizards die but were replaced. I had even offered to split cost but they strung me along while I checked in for over a month.I ended up ordering online from an xyzreptiles for $175 less and arrived at my door in 12hrs for $50 shipping. Xyz also partners with Reptile Industries but not for tegus. You might as well do this.
