Had an awesome experience at Mize's. I accidently came into the store ten minutes after closing. The manager Zach said that is was perfectly fine for me to come in and get my items really quick. He did not rush me in any way and was very polite when checking out. He was very efficient from checking to sacking my items. It looks as if he was alone and doing everything. He even carryout my grocery to my car. Thank you Zach for giving me such as awesome experience at a local grocery store. It is hard to get experiences like this is todays world with the big cooperate businesses. Will be coming back to shop here.

This is the best small town grocery store. It is very clean, well stocked, easy to find products. Very helpful and friendly employees. Still takes your groceries to car for you. Price are wonderful especially sense it is the only grocery store in town. Family owned.

You won't get a more Friendly Grocery store treatment anywhere. They want to chat, ask you how you are doing and make sure you're finding everything. You'll never get that at the big chain stores.

Not a bad place to go if you just want to run in and out for something really quick. The man who stocks the shelves is so nice and friendly, easily my favorite person there! There used to be an older lady running the registers up front that was pretty rude, haven't seen her in a while and am thankful for that. I'm admittedly taking a star off just for the fact that there are no masks or spacing in the store anymore. Doesn't feel good to see a place stop caring about their customer's safety with the pandemic still ongoing.

Update (12/16/22) I consider their game “stepped up.” Dillons delivery finally made their way out here so I’ve been using them. But we’ve still relied on Mizes in a pinch. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much their quality has improved. Next level. And I never wait in line more than a minute without cashiers calling for backup. Plus they’re striving to cater to a more organic and plant based crowd. Bravo 👏5 year resident and still view this store a last resort. Friendly staff but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve caught or bought expired product, had to return bad cheese, produce and meat. My husband is literally on his way to return sour smelling chicken thighs right now. Not ideal after a long day at work. Flies are particularly bad in the summer months and buzz around the produce. Much to my chagrin, they remain the only grocery store in town. And the prices show it. I want to like this place so badly. As for now, trek the extra 10 minutes to Dillons if you can.

Fantastic selection for a smaller grocery store, and their deli / meat section is phenomenal. The staff are lovely and always willing to answer questions or help hunt illusive items. You never know what kind of something you might find in here!

Great friendly people. Still offer carryout. Wonderful meat department. Everything you need in a hometown grocery store. Stop by on Friday's​ for some fresh smoked ribs! The fried chicken is excellent also.

Mize’s is such a gem in our little town of Clearwater. Love their cinnamon rolls but man their donuts are so good! Everyone is always so nice and helpful and love seeing the young kids working. And don’t forget about their chicken, yum!

This place is amazing,the staff are so attentive of what you want or looking for, they even have employees to take your groceries to your car. One of the cleanest grocery store I have ever been. The meat department is amazing and de prices are incredibly affordable, the quality of the meats and sea food are excellent. You can find a little bit of everything. I drive like 35 minutes away from my house just to go there and do my groceries. Is a local establishment run by family oriented people and locals employees.Definitely recommend everyone if you live in Clearwater you should know this place, but if you live in the vicinity I suggest you to go there and see that at the end of the trip to the grocery store you will be glad you did it.

Great small town grocery store. Feels like going home to shop for food. It might be slightly more expensive than in town, but it's worth it to keep a hometown business up and running as well as not fighting crowds.

We really like this store. The owners and employees are super friendly, its the cleanest I've seen any store, the shelves are orderly and fully stocked and they have brands we can no longer get elsewhere. They have fresh meat that they butcher themselves and what we've tried so far has been excellent.

Everyone is always so friendly. I drive there from Wichita for the meat sales and watermellons. The workers are always ready to help in every way. Baggers take the sacks and load them in the car for you. Just like I remember growing up with. Love this store and all the employees!!!

Everyone is so friendly and help you find anything you need. It's so nice to see smiling faces when you walk in the door. The baggers are great too. Helped me out with my groceries and was very nice. Great experience at mizes every time I go.

McKenzie was really rude to me when I last came into the store. I heard her say cuss words and in front of my children too! I have also heard her be rude to some of the other employees. I will be driving the extra 10 min to go to Dillons next time. Please choose your employees wiser. They reflect on your company.

The best customer service in the state. I used to live in Clearwater and shopped at Mize's for years. After I moved to Goddard I continued to shop here faithfully, even though Dillon's and Wal-Mart were much closer. Goddard even had their own grocery store that has since closed and I never once shopped there. The prices are a bit higher, but they make up for it with frequent great sales. I still stop in once in s while to take advantage of their sales and to be treated like a very important customer!

Today was my first time at Mike's Thriftway.I was there with Sandy Cummins as we shopped for some up coming meals. The items are well stocked and organized. We easily found everything on Sandy's list with one exception. When she asked for help locating that item the clerk looked in several places until she found it. Each of the employees made eye contact with us and greeted us. As we were checking out the clerk asked if we had found everything and socialized with us. As soon as our items were bagged they were taken to the car and loaded. The clerk thanked us for shopping at Mike's and encouraged us to come back soon. Thanks Mize's we will return soon..

There is no better grocery store than our hometown Mize's.......BUT, I would suggest doing a better job of enforcing the mask policy for their customers. We have many elderly in our town that shop locally. Doesn't seem right for us to not give a hoot about protecting them a bit by wearing our masks. I had an elderly lady thank me for wearing mine as she was shaking her head about how she and I were almost the only ones.Brad....i know it is a hassle to enforce, especially in this town.

Great home town service you can't find anywhere nowadays! Would be 5 stars but produce is occasionally lackluster like today the remaining bags of clementines all had a few squishy molded ones in the bags.
