I love Cheney Animal clinic if it wasn't for this place saving our beautiful baby girl Boots we would of lost her. They took her in the same day we called it was almost time to close but the doctor stayed until we made it from Wichita on South Broadway to Cheney. Our girl had to stay over night but the doctor was so gentle and kind answered all of our questions and made sure we understood everything.

I really like the people here. Everybody is generally nice, seems pretty lax. I like the fact that my visits don't seem rushed, the vet and techs all seem pretty caring and gentle.

Recently our beloved boy and cherished friend Jack had to be put down. He had a stroke in the middle of the night that instantly took his ability to see, stand and walk. We were terrified, we were horrified and we knew immidietly that there was no going back. We panicked, we didn't know what to do but we were lucky enough to call their emergency number and have somebody pick up, and that person was Jesse. Thank you Jesse. Thank you for your professionalism, thank you for your candor. Our boy Jack meant everything to us, he was our entire world and we were in shambles. Jesse came in in the middle of the night to do whatever he could, to help us in any way possible even without a cent to our names. We ended up coming back in the morning and having to put him down, but again we received nothing but professionalism and compassion. I can't recommend this vet enough, I can't tell you how important it was that we were treated with respect and dignity even when we were broken and in utter distress. Thank you Jesse, thank you for helping us. We will never forget it.

We love the staff at this clinic. We have been using their services for close to twelve years. They take such amazing care of our animals and don’t try to get rich while your fur babies are in need. Truly top notch service!! We are blessed to have such caring staff and doctors so close.

These people are the best, caring and compassionate veterinarians in Sedgwick county. They will come in on weekends and after hour for your pet’s emergency. They understand that pets do not just get or pass away Monday thur Friday 8-5. He will drive in fromKingmon to meet you. Not to mention the cost is more than affordable. Down right cheap compared to in town veterinarians. It is well worth the drive. Life saving I will say.

May be a good vet for livestock but I don't recommend for house animals. They lost my cat on the operating table last year then lost my nieces cat today. I don't know if it's the anesthesia their using or what but it's ridiculous. Take your fur animals to El Paso in Derby!

My dog was showing symptoms of a bladder infection on New Year’s Eve, and her regular vet was closed. A friend suggested Cheney Animal Clinic. They got us right in, were very thorough and were really great with her. I am considering switching to them even though it’s a 35 minute drive.

Dr. Birney took great care of my sweet baby girl. I had to make the tough decision to end her suffering and the staff was incredibly kind and understanding. It was right before their lunch break and Doc Birney stayed with us after everything was done and let us grieve. I love the staff. Absolutely a wonderful place to take your babies.

I was staying just out of town at an Air BnB and my dog Dexter got hurt. I called the office as soon as they opened and they Saud to come on in. Doc was terrific with my anxious dog. Turns out Dex just sprained his elbow. He got a steroid injection and some anti-inflammatories and were on our way! Terrific staff!

They got me in right away to take my dog to Doggy Heaven. Everyone was really kind. I called on a Monday and the team at the front desk talked me though my options and the process. When I arrived everything was smooth and the doctor and his assistant were super kind. They gave us time to say our goodbyes and let me lay with her on the floor.It would have been nice to see something other than "termination room" on the door. I know that's a small gripe, but I guess it surprised me a bit to see that. Other than that, very helpful.

Dr. Birney is the best vet in our area. Wonderful and friendly staff that always is happy to help you. Very reasonably priced services. I am a dog trainer and Dr. Birney came in on Sunday to treat a dog that had been injured and did not bend my client over for the services.

If anybody is ever looking for an affordable good vet to go to I highly recommend Cheney veterinary clinic in Cheney Kansas!!! They are very reasonably priced and took great care of my fur baby when she needed 12 teeth pulled. I will be using them from now on .
