We had a wonderful experience as new clients. We moved down south from Johnson County so we are used to the big town city feel. Unfortunately, in the city, that means having to wait for weeks to make an appointment and to be seen. Not at Linn Co Vet. We got right in on a same day appointment. We had all 3 dogs seen in less than an hour. No wait. They were great and explained things when I had questions. They were SUPER affordable! We will definitely return.

They were very helpful and treated my Puppy really well. He was 12 weeks when we went to see the Vet Clinic, Bandit never had any trouble getting his immunizations, on the 14th of September, He enjoyed getting treats.

I was referred here by a friend and I couldn't be happier. The girls up front are so very kind and helpful and make you and your fur baby feel comfortable as soon as you come inside. I absolutely love the Vet!! He is gentle and kind with my babies and me. Very patient and takes the time to answer questions. Best pet care anywhere!

Took our kitty PeshPosh here to visit the vet and they are wonderful!!!! They got her in yesterday as a same day appointment and then saw her again this morning to make sure she was doing better. I highly suggest bringing your pet family members here. They are definitely our new vet!

We love this clinic, the doctors and staff. They are animal lovers and it shows when you visit. Whether it be check up, surgery, x-rays, well visit or needed Rx, you will not find better care for your furry family members. Lee and Randy have cared for and treated out cats, Guinea pigs and dogs without ever making us think they weren't the most important pets.We are 30+ years happy with this clinic!

My grandparents had an emergency with the dog and needed to be seen promptly and the staff was very rude. My grandparents have always vetted with them, until they had an older dog given to them, when his original owners passed. The original owners had vetted in fort Scott so my gma chose to continue to take him there so he would know the staff. Since then my gma has declined a lot and is not able take him there without the help of the grandkids( myself or my sis) I was at work when the emergency took place( I’m a nurse and can’t just leave) so they took him to linn county vet( just a few miles from there home) and were treated extremely poor! I do not recommend them!! And I grew up using this vet and always loved them! I’m not sure what had changed— but it’s wasn’t for the good! If your looking for a good well- rounded, extremely professional vet— I recommend Yolanda Grey and Animal Care Center!!!

For being somewhat new to the area after being gone for over 30 years I got my first pit pup and took it to these people they treated me so kindly nicely the rates were very fair wonderful veterinarian and assistant I wouldn't go anywhere else

Lee and Randall are as good as a vet can be. Hell in a pinch I'd have Lee stitch me up as opposed to a regular doctor if he did that kind of thing. Straight shooters and honest.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hinde and Beth at Linn County Vet Clinic (I’ve not yet worked with the other vet, have heard he is just as commendable)They’ve been wonderful with our lab as we moved to this area a year ago. Our lab then just under a year got his up to date shots and they were, so kind accommodating. Earlier this spring I took him to get his nails trimmed and get his flea and tick control for the season. They carry what is best for our specific area and the type of ticks we have here. That is pretty cool to know which works best in our rural area.Then a week ago today I took our lab in with great concern as he had been vomiting for two days and sleeping a lot. I knew he was sick and not himself.Dr Hinde examined him...asked if our lab could’ve eaten from a carcass of a dead animal and other questions about his behavior. He found he had a low grade fever that’s not alarming, but definitely with checking as to why. With his symptoms Dr. Hinde did not just conclude he had a GI infection, but found through his exam that our lab had contracted a rare bacteria that little is known about it, but it has a name. He treated our labs nausea and out him in a strong antibiotic.The next day I contacted him anting the spelling for the name of the infection. He text it to me, so I had the spelling correct. Before I had googled it he had sent me a link about it.Upon reading the article I learned of its first case... the next case and only 3 states in the US have reported it in the past 20 years, Kansas being one of them. I learned only 3% of dogs survive. Also, in warning rural dwelling family and friend on Facebook a new friend of mine replied back eith their lab 3 years ago got it and there’s could not be saved as it’s a fast acting virus and nasty.Our lab thankfully is moving forward with his recovery. He had lost 10 pounds in a matter of days following his first symptoms.Thank you.... Dr. Hinde

We were told we are “not a good fit for them”. Just tried to make an appointment for the Chihuahuas in our family. No other explanation. We will stick with Spring Hill Vet. We were just trying to get them rabies vaccines a little closer to where we are staying.
