This is such a cool shop. Lots of things to look at from the creepy to the unsual to the comedic. Thus kind of place is right up my alley. The man who runs it was so open and friendly and clearly so passionate about what he does as well as the local area. It was a pleasure stopping in and speaking with him. He gave me daughter a little classic monster finger puppet before we left. I wish him the best on his journey to have the most monster finge puppet tattos. From what I could see, he might already be there!

We had such a fun time here! There is no admission fee to check out their amazing collections of oddities! Of course they have some cool Wizard of Oz themed items, but also Harry Potter, superhero, and old school monster paraphernalia. Be sure to check out the baby rattlers they keep in a barrel; just remember that baby snakes are often more poisonous than full-grown snakes. We were fortunate enough to see Wonder Woman’s invisible plane that he had outside! The owner was very informative and even suggested other places to check out during our trip. Side note: try the blackberry and cream soda in the glass bottles!! You won’t regret it!! I would definitely stop by here again!

Okay. This place is SO COOL and definitely one of the highlights of our recent roadtrip, and getting to check this place out was a total accident! We had went to Cawker City to see the ball of twine, and happened to see the sign for this shop down the block. We were intrigued and had to check it out! We get to the door, see it's closed, and we were pretty bummed. But then...the owner himself happened to be outside, spotted us by the door, and opened it up to let us come in and look around, which, I swear...only in Kansas. They are all just the nicest people! Anyway....this shop is packed to the brim with tons of interesting and unique items, and all of the items have a story, which the owner is happy to tell! The owner was just so nice! Very friendly, funny and personable. If you're ever in the Cawker City area, I highly recommend checking this place out!

We stopped in here after visiting the largest ball of twine and I loved this shop and the family that runs it! They were super sweet and friendly, told my son stories about some of their fun oddities and gave him official twine to add to the largest ball of twine. They explained and pointed out different cool and interesting things in their shop and encouraged us to poke around and see all of their taxidermy and other oddities. It was really a fun stop!

Stopped in to Eyegore's on a whirlwind loop to see some KS roadside attractions, Eyegore's was our main stop but they also happened to have a ball of twine near by, which I also recommend. The store is jam packed and the one liners are nonstop. From reviewing pics I see the displays are updated and changed frequently, but even so there's more to see than one can take in on a short visit. We planned to just pop our heads in, ended up staying over an hour. If you're on the Twine, Garden of Eden loop this is a MUST see! Parking can be limited due to the invisible Jet on loan taking up a whole lot.

If the journey is about the friends you make along the way, then Eyegore's is the reason to journey to Cawker City, Kansas. Come for the free twine, and stay for the warmth, humor, and creativity of this 'museum.' A great selection of merch as well that will make your friends say, "did you really go out of your way to see a ball of twine?"

The usual story of “went to Cawker City for the ball of twine, stayed for Eyegore’s”. We were greeted outside by a cat riding a dog, who led us to Eyegore, who was more than happy to give us a detailed tour of every specimen in his display - from Count Cluckula to the famed Luchadeer and everything in between.Eyegore certainly has a passion for what he does and this place is his pride and joy. One of the top experiences of my US road trip!

What a great new addition to the small town Kansas landscape! Just a half block away from the ball of twine and it’s well worth your time. As the owners told us... half the the store is real and half the store is made up. Full of great little oddities, folk art, and stories, the Odditorium is a gem and highly recommend you add it to your list of road trip destinations.

Fun museum and odditorium that you must check out when in town. The owners were very welcoming and loved to engage in conversation and show us some pretty cool things. We all had a good laugh at the largest pair of pants in Kansas that they showed us. Never thought I’d see a pair so big! There was also a fun selection of candy and sodas and stickers. **Don’t forget to get to your official piece of sisal twine to add to the worlds largest ball of sisal twine right down the street when at this museum.** Enjoy!

I have never been in the store yet I want that Alien that is outside. I have sent my wife in to see if its for sale and it is not. Next time I am that way I have to stop in. My wife and mother stop by several times a year during their trips.

We love the totally random events in our travels. We simply meandered into Cawker, KS because we hate interstate highways. Lo and Behold! The world's biggest ball of twine! So we stopped and checked it out. Walking back to our car, the owner of Eyegore's Odditorium, who was sprucing up the exterior of his business, gave us a friendly salutation. He was such a nice fellow, giving us all kinds of cool recommendations for sights to see in that area, which we heeded and thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of the setting sun hours that evening. His biz was closed for the day, and we were travelin' on for the West Coast, but I swore I'd write him a good review, because I'm a weirdo at heart. I believe the other weirdos out there reading this would enjoy checking out Eyegore's Odditorium, and chatting with it's very jovial proprietor. Cheers!

I had a great time today visiting Matt and Julie at their oddities shop. Matt is quite the jokester. Go check this place out if you get the chance. Great people. Great conversation. Watch out for the human eating parakeet though; it's flying loose around Cawker City. I don't know how it got out of that cage.

On the recommendation of the docent of "The World's Largest Ball of Twine" (across the street) we stayed until the store was open. So cool! On top of the alien and Big Foot artifacts, they had toys, gifts, magnet, and Butter Rum Lifesavers!

I don't have much to add to what others have said, but I do want to second their comments. Came for the Ball of Twine, enjoyed this place more. It is worth coming to Cawker City for Eyegore's alone. Also, see the Ball of Twine if you have time. There is always something great about people who have a true passion for what they do and these owners do.
