Really great place to take your pets. Staff are nice, if you call get an appointment you rarely have to wait more than a few minutes as they run pretty closely to time. Occasionally, they may have an emergency and you wait but understandable. Coming from the city a few years ago the vet care here is top of the line. I would recommend taking your pets here. They also have boarding and some grooming. 5/5 without hesitation

Doc Luke and his staff have cared for our pets for years. I am from Beloit originally and although we now live near Wichita , we have driven 2+ hours for over 30 years to be seen by Doc Luke or his staff. My daughter and I brought her Golden Retriever to Beloit this week for a second opinion. It was such a blessing to have someone we trusted to be able to call . Tommy had his surgery and is now back home recovering. Let me mention the more than reasonable prices last because although important , is not the reason behind the 5+ star review. Doc Luke and his staff are good people who we know we can trust and that’s priceless.

They have always been reliable, professional and willing to help. They made me feel at ease, even though my horse was in bad shape. I have taken everything from kittens to horses to them. On a Saturday evening they answered my emergency call when my dog needed stitches not only once but twice! Thankful for having such a wonderful place to take my fur babies!

I drive an hour & a half to get to SVV & it’s well worth it. They’re all very friendly & caring for my dog & any animal I’ve seen them in contact with. Which is wonderful since my dog is like my baby!! They’re always willing to squeeze you in when they can & very real prices! We’ll continue to make the drive as long as we can just to get their wonderful service. Would 10/10 recommend them to anyone 😁

Unfortunately, right now you cannot go in with your pets, but that doesn't stop them from continuing to provide wonderful, personal care. We have used them forever for the care of all our animals (pets & livestock) and for boarding our dogs. They are so nice to all of us!

I cannot say enough good about this place. this place has helped me when I didn't have any money. they are kind and knowledgeable! extremely customer oriented. I drive 70 mi round trip to take my cats there because they are the best veterinary service! Easily give them 5 stars!

Last night was my first time there and I wish it was under better circumstances, but the vet I had was really great with my rat. She was gentle and kind, you can tell she truly cares about the animals she sees.

Found out my ten year old Shiz tuz had breast cancer....they explained everything to me....was patient with my silly questions....I would honestly recommend this vet. (2017)(2023)My chihuahua was a sick pup. Solomon valley took very good care herThey kept me updated thru put the weekend.....thank you guys

Drove an hour to this vet because local vet gave me an estimate from $150-300. To me this is unacceptable. Called SVVH, they said $90 for dewclaw removal procedure, all 4 and there was an opening the next day! They were very nice people from office staff to medical staff. They also arranged it that I could take my dog home that afternoon. Thanks so much for being upfront with cost of procedure!

Very Disappointed. ): Boarded dog and cat for 6 days. Dog did great and was returned to me in good condition. Sadly, not the case on the cat. Firstly, Upon collection, I went in the back to retrieve her and found her kennel filthy in every way. Now, 10 days later, and 2 vet appointments later, she remains sick, but thankfully, improving. She was returned to me severely dehydrated, infested with lice and fleas, and while rare in cats, Kennel cough!

Originally posted Nov. 8th 2012 My wife and I took our American Bulldog "Harley" here Monday morning due to her declining health,who is on the left in the photo, she was 4 at the time. Melissa Luke the Vet in charge of her did an outstanding job taking care of Harley in her final days, complete with a thorough examination, diagnosis and comfort care in an attempt to revitalize her back to her happy self. Sadly she passed away this afternoon, not without a long fight during and prior to her vet stay, but Melissa, her coworkers and her family owned vet team made Harleys stay a more comfortable one with a ray of hope until this afternoon. Also a lot of our friends and my coworkers utilize Melissa and her team for their on animals, even when they're a good 50 to 60mi or more away from her office. Never have my wife and I been amongst such professionals who take such pride in their work and have excellent "bedside" manner. All the vets my wife called in effort to find affordable and quality care couldn't even hold a candle to Melissa and her team and I'd certainly recommend her vet skills to anyone in my area. Thank you very much and God bless you and your team Melissa :-)
