This is a good clean store with very nice employees. It's one of the larger stores in this county so it's well stocked. Great produce with some good sales and a huge meat and deli area.One of the interesting things about it is that the shopping carts aren't allowed out of the store. Either you carry your items out or an employee will put them into a special cart and take them out for you. Nice!I like this store.

OOO, just missed 5 stars. They carry most everything I like and more, but...They sell milk in 1 quart jugs, not bottles. The jugs are slightly too wide to fit in my RV refrigerator, while the bottles fit perfectly.

Great small time grocery store! We were driving cross country in our RV and stopped to stock up. We had 3 different store employees stop us and ask if we were finding everything we needed!! (Obvious out-of-towners in our masks). So friendly!!! The last guy talked to us at check out. Was he a manager? Don’t know. But we talked about what a great store Rays was, open aisles, clean, beautifully stocked. Ribs in addition to roasted chicken! He recommended the local BBQ place, Bubba’s, so off we went to it too! (Alas it was closed for catering but we were left with a goo impression of friendly Beloit KS.)

We were visiting family in a nearby town and went to Rays to pick up a few items. The staff we encountered throughout the store were very pleasant and very helpful. Definitely experienced small town hospitality.

Very friendly, clean store. Prices are the same as any small town grocer. But they haven't caught up with the rest of the country on offering healthy foods. Very little organic produce. No organic or grass fed meat. No organic items on the grocery shelves or dairy or eggs. The employees are wonderful though.

I'm everything when it comes to work. Everyone is adulting. When management aka owners? At some point decide choices to take complaints is an option? Rays apple market isn't a union. I alone increased profit in that part of the store. Gross profit increased 23 percent. Now its down...lol my fault for not being there... You can't hire seven ppl and expect to get one that does just that. Rays apple market... Just wait the fired and lost everyone. This business is an joke, drive to Walmart in Concordia.

Clean well stocked. But watch the prices. You may be better off buying some items like meat from your smaller local shop.I live in a smaller town and our meat prices are at least 40 cents per pound less on just chicken alone.

The variety of items available is quite good for a small town grocery store. The prices are reasonable; the coupons on the app are an added bonus! The employees have always been friendly and helpful.

Being in Beloit for more than ten years now, I've heard a lot about the out of town grocery topic. And honestly with the frequent sales and lower prices there isn't a lot that's cheaper anywhere else. Paying attention to the weekly ads they send out is a good way to plan your purchases. After the extensive remodel we now have a wonderful store that looks amazing and the carry-out service they provide is next to none. Try getting that at wal-mart. Thanks very much for the wonderful products and service you provide to our fine community!!

I like Ray's for a hometown grocery store. You have to make sure that you are buying the items that are on sale or buy the store brand (Best Choice). Their milk and eggs are expensive so we gets these in Salina or Concordia whenever we are there for regular shopping trips. Ray's is always friendly and they'll pack your groceries in your car for you!

Most of the employees are pretty friendly and helpful, but the prices are to high. But what really kills it is that the owners clearly don't care about the employees. The baggers work their butts off running in and out constantly. I tried to tip this nice young man who went out of his way to tie all of my bags closed so my groceries didn't roll around my back seat, I was so pleased, but he told me that he isn't allowed to accept tips. He had a smile while He told me this, but I could tell it rather bothered him. I have watched many of these baggers run their little butts off in and out of snow, rain, and blistering heat. If I wish to tip any one of these great employees, then as a customer I should have that right. I feel like they probably pay these people minimum wage. Why aren't they allowed to accept a little extra income? I imagine most of them would spend it in the store, buying drinks to keep them hydrated as they run back and forth. That the owners steadfastly refuse to allow tips, shows me where their heads are. Stuck in a big pile of greed. Once my car is fixed, I think I'll be going to Concordia for my groceries from now on. At least Walmart doesn't lie about their interests. Rays Apple Market is trying to be a corporation, while claiming to be a small buisness "hometown" grocery strore. And if the owners ever care enough to read this, here's some advice: us customers coming first is a nice thought, though it's a lie. Your employees come first, because then they actually WANT to take care of us.

As a former employee I would know how well it was run all employees got minimum wage It is true they do put out expired out of date items on the shelves and leave them. the prices are WAY too expensive for what you get you are better off going to Salina or Concordia to get your groceries. Don't waste your money go buy products somewhere else.

I genuinely appreciate the friendly staff that Rays employs. It is a tremendous improvement to the former owner's staff. Some of the bad apples are still there but there is great improvement. It is nice to be met with courteous staff.

I really like this place.. I'm new here to Kansas area... They are so friendly and always there to answer and help me when needed.. Clean store.. A plus.. They make you feel very welcome here.. My new store for sure....

Generally speaking most of my visits there have been very good! On a couple of occasions one checkout gal has proven to be very unfriendly... borderline rude, so I now refuse to go through her line.

I dont shop there but I go there for my company and I have to say they are a great group of people that work there very helpful to me and I have seen some go above and beyond to help thier customers if I lived closer I would definitely shop at Ray's

I don't like it that if you don't have a smart phone you don't get all the savings. That's not right everyone should have the same savings weather they have a phone or not.
