DG is pretty good for snacks and decent quality party stuff, as well as generic medicine and cleaning supplies. When you just need "adequate"and "top quality" might not be worth the noise and trouble of competing with hundreds of other people at larger stores, DG is the place to go.Sometimes the peace and quiet is worth the drop in overall quality, and the fact that they have hard to find items when everyone else is out, is a big plus.They had medicine and toilet paper through a lot of the pandemic, for several weeks after everyone else was completely out.Also, their prices are pretty great too- even compared to Walmart.

Was treated rudely by asst manager yesterday when I asked where something was. laid my stuff down and left called corporate was told day by district manager nothing she could do.dollar general has gotten last of my business I'll drive 12 short miles to get what I need .with all the bad reviews I see bout this store you would think dollar general wouldn't want that reputation.

Never experienced a business like this. Every time ( not most times, every time) I've been in this store I'm stuck between a self checkout that won't accept cash and a rude cashier that doesn't want to check people out. This morning was the last time I step in that store

This particular store will make your blood pressure rise..after 5 pm your lucky if you can find someone to help you or NOT ignore you. Driving 10 miles to mulvane dg is way worth it, totally opposites.. there is no just running into this store because your either ignored or can't find anyone..but self checkout with. No help needed is a 5 star if you need someone it's negative..drive to mulvane ..takes less time

I always go to this dollar general since it’s closest to my house. I never had a problem until the other day I walked in with sweats and a hoodie on I had several employees walk right by me didn’t say anything then when I went to check out the ONE item I had the cashier asked me to remove my hoodie. NO SIGN in the store that says NO HOODS! she kept looking at me whenever I was walking around like I was going to steal something. Definitely won’t come back here to shop anymore.

It was a good DG except for the lazy employees that would get up to help the cashier and made the other employee come all the way to the front of the store to do a 1.85 sale and let the line of people get 10 deep other than that it was a great priced store.

Love the small town charm of this store. Insiders tip, they are often short staffed and away from the register while stocking. Just sing out Marco and they'll come to the register.
