Went in to buy a half inch socket because I lost my old one. The guy working behind the counter points me to where the sockets would be and say we probably don’t have any but that’s where they would be. Not a big deal. Then he says to the other person working, “I don’t know why someone would come to a job and not bring tools” Well, why have a hardware store and not have any tools to sell? Very disappointed in the customer service. I took my business to the O’reillys down the street

Higher prices but your going to put that in the gas tank if you go to joplin for a couple items. And the people are friendly and helpful and you have that hometown atmosphere there!!!

Their stock and selection seems to be improving. I know they've taken over from a previous owner so Growing Pains are understandable. I really hope they continue to thrive. Nice to go anywhere when you can that is not a big box.

I go in here usually once a month, as I work in Baxter and my employer has an account there. We get various hardware items, usually bolts, nuts, pipe fittings, and power tool accessories... The ppl there are always very accommodating and helpful. It reminds me of the down home hardware store in my home town.

Always a friendly atmosphere, nice selection of basic needs. They also have live bait, fishing tackle, license. Also carry little bit of house hold cleaners and etc.

Hmm, let’s close our store when everyone else is getting off work and not increase our profit. Really guys?5 o’clock every day?!! Well, I guess it’s off to Lowe’s to spend our money.Horrible managerial decision Baxter hardware.Just a little suggestion, like All other hardware stores, at least stay open to, if not 9 maybe 8 or 7. Giving the majority of us who work during the day time to come buy your stuff.

True Value is right around the corner and they have everything you need, I needed to replace a bedroom window and it was a one stop shopping. And the personnel was expert in what I needed.
