Not a bad staff. Honestly the only reason this is getting such a low rating is simply because when the employees decide to smoke cigarettes right in front of the doors and you have to walk past it and through their smoke. It’s just really unprofessional.

In my opinion this store needs management help... The new freezer section has been out for3+ weeks , Store is always out of necessary items. Employees are polite and helpful but are nothing more than employees, (mostly young teens)(need some structure) again this is my opinion... frozen food section was out of most everything xcept ice creme and dairy, produce section was decent, other isles were cluttered and disoriented things thrown on shelves to fill voids and wrong tags in front of them.. This store has so much potential it serves 4 different towns and I know if others traveling farther because it is not convenient to look for groceries that are usually out of stock.. Cmon yall this can be a great place to shop and be way more profitable if a little attention with more management experience was placed here... thanks

The cashier was very nice, polite and helpful. The store, that is a different story. It is so disorganized and most of the aisles are labeled "Seasonal". I found Ziploc bags, paper plates, towels, foil and Saran wrap on 3 different aisles. If the aisles were labeled correctly and organized, my trip there would of only taken 5 minutes, but it took me 15 minutes to find the few items I needed.

Soooo much stuff! Inventory changes often. Staff members are friendly and helpful. There are no grocery stores nearby and this is a great place to get needed daily items when you're in a hurry and/or don't want to drive to Topeka to get one or two things.

You get what you pay for. You pay cheap and you get cheap. I bought a package of plastic zip ties from there and as I was using them several broke in half, unbelievable! I returned them even though I had used or tried to use several. Be sure to look at the expiration date on any food you buy there, they love to sell expired food!

Good prices. They carry brand name and generic stuff as well. Store was nice but I think they could sell more stuff if they did something to make the shopping experience better...maybe some music?

Store is a little messy every time I go in there. Several areas look disorganized. However, the employees are usually very friendly and helpful. At least they know their way around their own mess.

No backup cashier when lines are long. A seperate associate will blatantly walk by the line and not assist at the other register. If dollar general doesn't train their employees to assist at the register. Thats a huge flaw. Its miserable to wait 15 minutes when all you went to buy at dollar general was dog bones.

Fortunately, the Dollar General in Lyndon has some produce now and I was able to get the things I needed. They usually have a decent selection of all items. It's the closest thing we have to a grocery store now.

Love Dollar generals. Quick and handy. I love the $5 coupon to use day you shop. You had to buy $25 worth though. I fine good markdowns after holidays in there.

I love the Auburn Ks store. The clerks are so helpful and friendly. The manager id's amazing and this store has a wonderful small town feel! Ty DG Auburn!! Keep up the great work!!!!

If I could give the Dollar General in Auburn negative stars I would. The Isles are always crowded with carts and boxes. Most of the time they are out of the few things I buy there. Tonight I went up for honey and it was already bad. It was crystallized and tasted funny. I wish there was a real store in Auburn.

as the only place to get groceries in Auburn , i would think that showing up at 801 pm when closes at 8 with customers in the store already there would be a little compassionate or at the least accommodating to a local customer. i was wrong .

IF I COULD GIVE THIS STORE A SCORE OF -100 THAT STILL WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH TO START WITH WE WALK IN TOO THE STORE THAT THE STORE MANGER ELIZABETH OPEN 5 MINS. LATE WE GO INSIDE AND THE PLACE WAS SUCH A MESS. AND SAFTY RISK I HAD TO TAKE PICTURES OF IT THEN WE WERE SHOPPING AND THE LADY WORKING WASNT WEAR A FACE MASK SHE WAS THE MOST RUDEST PERSON I HAVE MET IN A LONG TIME SHE WALKS UP TOO US AND STARTED TELLING US THAT SHE WAS NOT GOING TO ALLOW US TWO .MESS HER STORE UP AND WE TELL HER MAM WE ARE NOT MESSING YOUR STORE UP AND SHE WAS SO RUDE AND WALKED AWAY WE FOR REAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID FOR HANG STUFF BACK UP THAT THEY HAD TROW. ALL OVER THE PLACE AFTER A COUPLE MINS SHE RETURNS TO US YELLING THAT SHE WANT US TO LEAVE THAT SHE WAS CALLING THE COPS SO WE WERE GOING UP TO CHECK OUT WITH THE STUFF THAT WE. HAD IN THE CART AND SHE REFUSED TO LET US CHECK OUT AS SHE CALLED THE COPS WE LEFT BUT SHE WAS VERY AND I MEAN VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE AND I THANK THAT DG. SHOULD GET RID OF HER AND PUT SOMEONE IN THERE THAT HAS SOME CUST. SERVICE SKILLS SO IF YOU PEOPLE ARE SMART YOU SHOULD NEVER SHOP AT THIS DG

Didn't give it a 5 because they are in the midst of rearranging the store. The clerk who helped me gets a 5. She double bagged the heavy items without me asking.
