Heard about this little Cafe thru word of mouth. It's kinda in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive! We had cheeseburgers with curly fries and real, handcut onion rings. Those onion rings are the bomb. We also shared a slice of chocolate cream pie. Delectable! All their food is homemade and fresh. Even though it's out of the way, we'll visit on our next trip to Kansas.

I was pleased with the amount of food --especially with the full chicken fried steak. It came with a decent portion of mash potatoes and gravy, fried okra- some didn't make the plate, cottage cheese and a slice of chocolate and peanut butter pie after taxes for 18.00.. I added the green onion. The staff was great, a little chaotic with the last minute orders, they did their best. Great setting for polite people, not for kids getting out of hand. It's a small place with some cool pictures. On one picture I took , I thought, this is definitely Down home cooking- and it is.

I ordered the ribeye steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and seasoned well. We got the appetizer sampler. Very yummy unhealthy fried food! Husband really liked his shrimp scampi (it is only 10 shrimp no pasta) he said the shrimp was not over cooked and had good flavor. The kids meal came with a ton of food. Overall great food and a good atmosphere. I know the owners are running the grill and having to wait tables so sometimes it might be a a wait. We got there right at 5pm so we had no wait.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options and lots of food

This is a out of the way place that has great burgers. Chicken was very good. Service is with a smile even though there might only be one server and they get busy.Kid-friendliness: I don't know about a kid menu but kids are welcome with a smile.

Home cooking at it's finest! Just moved to the area and stopped unpacking to make it to town on time to grab a late lunch. This place has some great food and the portion sizes are perfect. I promise you won't go home hungry. Cute little café right on main. Clean and the staff was great!

I stopped by on Mexican food night had a wonderful meal and had a wonderful visit with the owners. And to top it off the Peach Crisp was amazing. I will be back for more!
