This place is a GEM! The woman working today (Wednesday, June 8th) was super sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The selection in this store is ginormous but not cluttered or overwhelming. They have cats too which made the whole experience even better! Wish I was local to the area because I'd spend my weekends here. Thanks for the great experience :)

Love this place. I found a vinyl Bread record for my collection and a really nice washing machine from years past that works great! + awesome cats they have around and the owners are fun to talk too..Well worth the visit.

Outstanding selection of antiques for the home. Found parts for lamps and house hardware I could not locate any other place, even online. The lady who owns the store is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, well-stocked Store- huge in size, with all kinds of items- we are especially impressed with the variety of items. The owners are very helpful and go out of their way to be of service. Love this Place! If Backroad Atlas had rooms to rent, I would move in!

Angela has a great store. Awesome even if you are looking for one of a kind furniture, original decorative creations, unbelievable prices and antique archeology type stuff (pickers) You could do every room in a house and make it work with the antique furniture,finds and fixings. Have bought 10-12 pieces there already. going back for more. (ps: I've already had the house full of ethan allen. this beats that- shows individuality and creativity.)

The woman working at the original store today (tall blonde) was so helpful, showed great courtesy, listened to my wants/needs and fully engaged herself on my unconventional decorating quest.... NOT ENOUGH STARS!!!! BTW zero personal need for item in hoto, gift for friend. They even lowered the rice nearly 1/2 off!!!

Daisy house Atlantic and backroad atlas, well in mine and alot of other peoples opinion is the best place in Atchison, Kansas to go and eat, get coffee or baked goods, or just look around. On one side is the bakery, on the other, is the furniture- home decor shop. In the bakery (daisy house atlantic) everything is homeade and fresh it's amazing and the customer service is great. The home decor/ (backroad atlas) also has amazing customer service and everything is very nice and had stuff ranging from antique to new or from a couch to a picture frame. Most of everything is replenished that they did themselves. Everyone working at Daisy House Atlantic and Backroad Atlas is very respectful and knows what their doing i reccomend Daisy House Atlantic and Backroad Atlas to anyone who would ask they have amazing quality and care about their customers walking away feeling good and having a smile on there face. And it will stay that way for generations to come. Please come down and take a look I promise you will love it! as I and many many other people do.

I love walking around and checking out the many items being sold here. Items range from furniture to pictures to kitchenware. You can find brand new pieces, antiques, and repurposed items made by artists in Atchison. It's so hard leaving without buying something you could use!Even better, Backroad Atlas shares a space with Daisy House Atlantic--a café/bakery. Daisy makes nearly all of the baked goods and treats, and with such a great selection of different items someone is bound to find something to eat--from the cinnamon rolls to breakfast bread bowls to caramel apples to cheesecake. Daisy also has a lunch menu that changes every day, but she usually has a soup or two, a few sandwiches, and then a dish or two like hummus and pita or even lasagna. Daisy House Atlantic is a great option in a town that has its share of Mexican, BBQ, and bar food.
