As an former employee, I can say and be honest about Dollar general. The Andover location is far better than the Augusta location. Andover understood me and showed how much they cared, when I didn't feel well the manager literally took time out of her shift to drive me home. While Augusta was fine till a coworker started to scream at me constantly and caused me to have a couple anxiety attacks just because I was a little slow while taking the cbl (cyber based learning) tests that we had to do. I'm diagnosed with dyslexia and Autism hence why I was so slow. I was never shown any sympathy or anything when I tried to constantly explain what was happening. So take my advice, please go to Andover dollar general for your dollar store needs.

I love the Dollar General . I'm so glad they expanded into a food store also and will also sell gas. Hope they stay a long time and not bail out on us in Rose Hill, Kansas like Walmart did. Everyone is friendly there!

I called regarding a pair of boys swimming trunks right before swimming season. The associate not only told me they had some, but asked the size and confirmed they had a particular pair. So impressed!!

They do have some cute reasonably priced items. Here are the shoes I snapped a pic of in the store that only cost 10$. Keep it up dollar general an I'll be back 😉

Pay attention to their digital coupons and you can find great deals! My kids love their canned cream corn way more than Del Monte or Green Giant.

Service was fair , but ill be damned if im gonna squeeze a rubber pig 3 times for service . If your that short on staff, might need to do something about that.

Good deals. I use the DG app for lots of coupons. But add them to your account in the app before going inside. Signal is weak inside the building for some reason

The employees are fantastic. and a variety of items but your prices are much more than Wal-Mart makes me sad just gread.

This was the most well organized and clean DG for a long time. Some time in 2018 it started looking like most other DG stores. The staff is always friendly and helpful though.

Most Dollar Generals are slightly disorganized, but I believe that's due to the lack of space. I can still find things there that other stores do not carry.
