My team and I dined here for 7 days at lunch time. The food is impeccable and fresh. The pie is top notch. We travel on a weekly basis and eat at many diners and restaurants. This is by far one I’ll remember for a long time. Quality of food is incomparable to other places and the staff are extremely friendly. Owners are very friendly and even remember your orders from the previous day. The Ma and Pa diner many seek and little find.We appreciate the hospitality and food freshness. Will definitely return as they are only a little over an hour from my home and worth the drive.

Are you looking for a small town, locally owned, off the grid establishment where high school kids with manners are willing to serve you and genuinely care about your experience? Go to Woodward, head to Main Street and find this place on the east side. Bring cash.This is an old building built in the late 1800s so it has a lot of character and charm.I have had other menu items from here but tonight we ordered pizza because that's what we saw everyone walking in and picking up.We were not disappointed, the crust and sauce are on point and delicious! We are coming back for breakfast.They do have a bar and beer so you can let loose if you like.Come check it out!

The vibe at this establishment isn't the most welcoming. It is a small town and I feel like they know when you don't live in town. The lady who took our order didn't even ask what drinks we wanted, just brought us water. We had to ask for a different drink.They also do not have a fryer so if you're wanting fries with your burger, you're out of luck. No idea why. We did have the BBQ chicken pizza which was pretty good but had huge chunks of chicken and bacon. Still tasted good. It was much better than the turkey club I had the last time. And the honey mustard was extremely questionable....just odd.I'd recommend still giving them a try with all things mentioned. It is a small business and they've been around a while. They must be doing something right.

Cute little small town Cafe. They have excellent food, breakfast/lunch/dinner. Dean and Kaylee are the best! They always make us feel welcome and have taken the time to get to know us. They are like Family to my father in law, George, husband Randy and myself. The prices and service can't be beat. They even serve beer!! We go here almost every Sunday for lunch.

The food is good and also good prices. I had a chicken club and it was very well seasoned. I like the style and the decoration. The restroom was not clean tho. Overall, the experience was good but a little bit underwhelming. I still will come back, for sure.

I was here for the Eggs Benedict.#1. They had a good taste. Not overly seasoned. The Hollandaise was from a mix. The eggs were "over easy" not poached.#2. These do not come with hash browns but the small square potatoes.#3. The price was the best I have found $6.89.I have a "top ten" list for Benedicts. #1 being the best.After my visit I rated these "Bennys" as #10.They are worth trying. The price is what gave it the 4th star.My rating is based on 3 weights :#1-70% = taste#2-20% = presentation#3-10% = price

OMG! Was in Perry for a swim meet & googled places to eat. This little gem in Woodward (about 14 miles drive from Perry) was totally worth the short drive. The description "Small" pizza is deceiving, as it was more like a medium! Sandwiches (chili burger & a pork lovers) totally filled us up! No chips needed 🙂 Dean was a great host!

Stopped in here on a whim for a bite to eat on our way back too Des Moines, after checking Google maps for places to eat nearby.Nice, spacious restaurant. The 2 ladies working were super friendly and did an extraordinary job.Everything was excellent. Chili was good, not spicy at all; if that's what you're looking for it wouldn't be for you. Just great tasting all around.All meat pizza (customizable) with Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, Pepperoni, Andouji sausage, jalapeños, onions.This was by far the best pizza I have ever had. The crust on this is amazing.My only complaint about this place is that it isn't closer toDes Moines. If you ever get chance, go out of your way a little bit to eat here. It is definitely worth it. I'm glad I did.

Stopped here during the 141 garage sales. Food was good and nicely priced (to be honest I had a hard time finding the cheese on my tuna melt but I like tuna sandwiches and it was good anyway). The lady who waited on us was friendly and always had a smile even though she was very busy. We were a little grossed out by the very dusty hanging peppers but would stop there again if in the neighborhood.

Toppings were good on pizza, crust needs alot of improvement. Keep salad bar better stocked, soup was bad. When it's 85 degrees and humidity is 70% - run the air conditioning!!!! It's to hot !! If I wanted to eat out doors, wouldn't have gone to a restaurant.

This place has great breakfast. The menu is about 10 items but from what I saw, everything looked really good. Everything was priced very well and was good portions. The corn meal pancakes was a different take on pancakes than anything I have ever seen or tried. I liked them a lot.

Fantastic breakfast!! Been here many times before bike rides on the HTT. It's family run and the food has always been excellent. Make sure you have time to enjoy the coffee before your food comes out.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It looks like you've stepped back in time, but the food was first class. Just a few min east of perry Iowa. If yiur in the area its worth your time. The food is just wholesome comfort food.

Omg...wonderful food!!! Our family met there for supper tonight...such a treat! The owner and his staff was so great. He even showed us the pizza he made for his staff from fresh vegetables and herbs he picked off plants grown in the front window.
